@Unfortunately See, I kinda have the same mindset, but just, realistic graphics are kind of a turn-off for me. It makes me feel like the developers are trying too hard to make their game as realistic as possible when they make their game's graphics realistic.

Of course, it's mostly in today's era where I have that problem. Back in the N64 and PSX era, I was perfectly fine with what realistic graphics they could pull off. As previously mentioned, with today's new software and such to use for developing and designing games, I feel like everyone is just taking too much advantage of the better graphics processors to make their games look as realistic as possible. It's uncreative to me.

Zun is just stupoid when it comes to his character graphics. DDC's characters look fine if you ask me, though.

Although I personally enjoy graphics with realism, favoring too much into that and neglecting the other enjoyable stuff such as gameplay is just as bad as ripping off customers. I probably see why you don't like those types of games. (Looking at you, Order 1886.)

UFO, TD, and DDC art look good in comparison to the first few games of the Windows Era, though. Sakuya of DDC was quite decent compared to her in EOSD, where she looked like she had a few too many chromosomes.

@NightlordKrusnik I was just never really a fan of FPS games, and that's exactly what Fallout is to me. A glorified FPS. Plus, in general, realistic graphics are something I'm really not a big fan of. ...yes, I like anime and cartoon graphics more. Sue me. XD
