*The courtyard itself is adorned with trees all around in the middle is a fountain that has dried up and cracked. The walls that surround the courtyard have tall towers and battlements reminiscent of a fort and there are houses all around the open area.*

Well, this courtyard has plenty of buildings all around... Maybe there's something here, I'll check those houses to the right. Noct will search through the sky to see if there's any magical anomalies about. What about you three?

Well... I guess I'm lucky I didn't die and end up here instead with new friends. Whatever is going on here though is a bit of a mystery. This place is alive with mana and whoever made this place clearly didn't want us getting in or out. Cult, eldritch beast, or whatever else lie in those dungeon depths, I don't think it's a good idea to go back in and deal with it with what we currently have. I'm barely in a shape to fight.

I think you're on to something... Maybe this place was once a temple of sorts for a cult or religious organization. Which makes sense with all the magical booby traps and all. It also makes sense that only exclusive members of said cult or organization would be able to bypass it all.

Hmm... This place gets curiouser and curiouser. If not a prison, and definitely not a fortress, this place must've had a different purpose. With the two of us, meaning of course myself and Aerith, showing up at roughly the same time. Your theory of this place being some sort of Magical location is starting to make sense.

Fair enough. We're now in the courtyard of this... Well, whatever this ruin was supposed to be. With the big dungeon, I'd assume that this place was once a prison of some sort.
