@Vahir Also, random idea I had at work today, but how do you feel about the orcs having another sub-species? Like a sort of ogre-esque group that spends most of the year hibernating, but has been roused by Rusadir's massive war effort. I've included an image below. We could call them dire orcs, pale orcs, or something like that. I just saw this online and was like...it would be so cool to have Myranda fight one of these things XP

Sure. I was already going to have the Orcs ride elephants, might as well add in more beasties.

Lol, oh yeah, it's gonna happen during the attack. The drums are always beating, Eschatologist, always...

(Couldn't resist)
Sounds good. No need to make eliminating the watchtowers overdramatic; One or two IC posts covering it would be plenty. The more important thing by far is the capture of Tolos.

At this point, I'm wondering what to do for a PoV. I could (and will) continue providing viewpoints from Oromis and the main army, but it wouldn't have much effect on what you guys are doing; Same thing for foreign PoV's. I considered making a post covering how the Etruscans are reacting to all this, but showing all the enemy's battle plans would cause other problems (Involuntary meta, mostly). Decisions, decisions.
You guys do realize the name of the continent is Westeros, not Westros, right? ;)

Yeah, I wasn't going to say anything, but...
No; Not unless we decide to drop out. In fact, I've been told by a new player that he's working on a character app.

RPs aren't dead until everyone accepts them as dead.
@Lexicon

I believe you've misunderstood the strategic situation. There are three powers in the northern continent:

1. The Hamrock Isles (Where Oromis and the players have been up until now)

2. The Etruscan League (A collection of independent kingdoms, theoretically loyal to the Prophet in the old city of Tolos. Sort of like the European Union)

3. The Tolosi Empire (A dying empire that used to control the north of the world)

The current conflict is between the Etruscan League and Oromis (and, by extension, the Isles). I see you've been confused by the city of Tolos; It used to be the capital of the Empire, but the empire lost all lands to the west, including the city. Now, it's the capital of the League. It's located at the mouth of the river in Etruscia, on the map of the League I put up. While all this is going on, the Empire is a neutral party, watching uncomfortably from the headlines.

Going around Samnidall wouldn't be an option anyway; those waters are virtually unnavigable, due to ice and freezing cold.
Well, in my sheet I set it to 14 years ago, the same time as at the start of GoT.
Gowia I'm making the paramount lord of the Vale if you wanna brainstorm some ideas.

LordZell already said that he wanted to do that. Just putting that out there.
House Carlisle

Lords Paramount of the Riverlands
"From Duty Runs Rivers of Gold"

House History: The Carlisles like to boast that their lineage stretches back to the Age of Heroes. Most agree, however, that the house only appeared under the Mudd kings of Rivers and Hills, with the Carlisles being a branch of that house which was given Galenave as their seat, and the defense against the Valemen as their duty. The Mudds fell, however, and for centuries the Riverlands were an unpleasant place to be, being first occupied by the Stormlanders, and then by the even more brutal Ironborn. Throughout it all, the Carlisles survived, by any means necessary.

All changed when Aegon the Conqueror landed in Westeros and swept aside the old Kings. Harren the Black burned in his vile castle, and the lands of the Trident were freed. Though many riverlanders sought to establish their own, independent kingdom once again, the Carlisles stepped up as the most vocal supporters of the Targaryens. For their support, Aegon made House Carlisle the Lords Paramount of the Trident.

House Seat: The Carlisle seat is the ancient castle of Galenave. Located on the eastern bank of the Green Fork, it was first built by the First Men in ages past. When these were displaced by the Andals, they rebuilt the fortress after their manner, with high stone walls and imposing defenses. But with the decline in fortune of the kings of the trident, Galenave declined as well, and the castle fell into ruin, a sprawling maze of decrepit structures. In fact, when it came time to select a new lord of the castle, it was infested with bees, with hives being found within the ruined walls themselves. Taking this as a sign from the gods, the new lord of Galenave took the bee as his sigil. This was the beginning of House Carlisle. Since then, the fortunes of the house have risen, and as Lords Paramount they have had the resources to renovate the castle somewhat, rebuilding the keep in a more comfortable manner.

While most of the surrounding castle is still ruined, this has often proved to be an advantage: any attacked would have to fight through its maze-like structure, which, apart from being difficult to navigate, also proves treacherous for the unwary, filled with traps, dead ends, and simple hazardous construction. As for the keep itself, it is high and strong, and nearly impossible to take, as one would have to use siege weapons in its assault, yet bringing these weapons through the ruins would be unthinkable.

House relations: N/A

@Vahir I think I'll take you up on that offer. Anything about the Riverlands or your house that I should know before starting an NS?

Not much. Here's the bullet points:

*Named House Carlisle
*Came into power the same way as the Tullys (Aegon made them lord paramounts)
*Sigil is the Bee
*Seat is on the east bank of the Green Fork, castle named Galenave
*Current lord is a seven year old boy, the riverlands are ruled by his competent great-uncle
*The boy lord's mother (A Blackwood) is in constant political struggle with the uncle for authority
Well, I A) Already posted and B) will be AWOL this weekend, so it's on you guys.
