...Tell us what support you need. I won't be helping a Tier Five.

I haven't thought so far ahead. All this info is very new to me.
*Rockets toward The Legend*

<Snipped quote by Valiance>

*The device activates, granting Fourth's ability and allowing me to slip out of the compressed space*

*Blasts past you in your motion, cleaving through your hand and planting both feet directly into Fourth's chest*
Chickpea, a read on all potential tools of this man's in the area, if you please?
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

Better yet, make him use too many! Once you reach a backfire limit, any more help from your junk and you’re out of the running. Also a big part of why he can’t bother to get rid of me.

Efficiency says making him expend resources by attacking other resources would be the most effective way to exhaust the pool.
*Clamps my hands around a seemingly nonexistent object, as space itself around the Control Panel and his hand are crushed with sudden and unprecedented pressure*

For starters, you’re already halfway there! My husband has no innate abilities—you might even say he was born without any redeeming qualities. With the kinds of tools he has to lean on to make an operation happen on this scale, he’s got to be near the cap of his backfire limit.

A man of strategy and resources, hm? So I'd be better off not targeting him, but rather his tools, perhaps.
*Glances amidst Fourth, Cherithe, the setting and the rest of the party here*

I’ve got no interest in being stuck in a boring dimension, or dead.

Fair enough. How about this, what would I want to know about this guy that hasn't already been shown?
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

*Laughs*
Wasting time trying to stop me would eat up too many resources. I can tell he’s on a razor-thin margin right now.

What's your stake in this? Why are you making this offer?
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

Anything! I know Mr. The Hero Legend Oracle Assassin thing here better’n anyone.

*Glances back to him*
And he's just going to stand there and let you spill his secrets?
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

Fun! What are you going to do with System control?
*Grins*
I'm divvying up info, free of charge, to anyone who wants a tip.

I don't even want it. I just know no one here can have it. But... What sort of info are you talking about?
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

Which would be tragic, if the future were up to you. I’m guaranteed a victory at midnight, one way or another.

Even if either of those things are true, I won't be known as the guy who just stood here and let it happen.
*Straightens my back*
Even if it kills me.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

There are countless dimensions with boundless approaches. It would be arrogant for me to declare one way better than the other. But once you’ve invaded someone else’s experiment, you’ve forfeited your right to your own.

Why do you keep calling these things an experiment? That in itself shows you have a sense of detachment from these things beyond just the goal you've set. But why is it arrogant for you to declare one way better than others on a smaller scale, when you're doing exactly this on a larger scale, and inevitably leaving the same problem to exist in a more broken up manner across smaller scales, all while committing incalculable acts of genocide to inevitably solve exactly nothing? I'm not sure where your shortsightedness stems from, but you can consider me the opposite of convinced.
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

Far from arbitrary, but an acceptable sacrifice nonetheless. Each dimension has its own resources and the right to live without fear of subjugation by forces far beyond anything they’ve ever encountered before. Tiers are, by nature, oppressive.

New space faring societies have a right, then, to live without the same fear across galaxies? Lesser civilizations the same for forces beyond their planet, and further still that right extends to primitive peoples and threats from across the ocean? Despite each of these scales of society all holding the same truths about them as multidimensionals?
