Bio

I got into Roleplaying, er more specifically Post by Post Roleplaying around, I think it was four years ago? It feels much longer than that. My good friend whose now far too busy in college introduced me. He wanted by make a Mass Effect RP for his younger brother, or Cousin, something along those line. The games series was far to mature for someone of his age but he felt he could make a family friendly RP. And while that never panned out, I was hooked. Fast forward to the present day and I'm an avid RP and casual writer. I mainly prefer Fallout RPs, and am working on my own which will take place in the fictional Lore of Alaska. But it's far from ready. Between my laziness and my workload of various RPs and Videogames I am often rather busy. Yet I always find myself exceptionally bored. So I like contemplating Philosophical Conundrums.

You heard it here folks. Icon put the moves on Arachne. Let's ship these two! Though in all seriousness you probably couldn't do better regarding super powered boyfriends than Icon. And since he's an Alien (he is an Alien right I'm pretty sure he was) he probably has a few extra parts. Which probably explains why he's so brave and fearless. Icon has Quads of Steel.
So is the new editions to Excalibur okay to implement? Also Icon better be careful where his hands are, just because Arachne has a big booty doesn't mean Icon has to enjoy it.
So as I said the other day before I got busy, I'd like to make a few edits to Excalibur. First of all although Excalibur is a legendary weapon, probably on par with Mjolnir or Captains' Shield. There's also no records in the mythos to place it in such a league. So any edits I run by you guys are only possible suggestions.

First. Excalibur should be nigh unbreakable. Save for those as strong as Icon or Cosmic forces such as Umbraxis or Magic of the same tier. Enough World class magic should also break Excalibur if it sustains constant blows. Anything less than say someone of Thanos' might or Umbraxis should not break Excalibur in a single strike. @NeutralNexus Let me know how you think Umbraxis could destroy Excalibur, so I have a general idea.

Excalibur being a Legendary weapon, sometimes said to be created by the Lady in the Lake, or given to her after being forged by a Dragon. Which if Dragons did exist would be on par with Cosmic beings. They created a Legendary sword after all; presumably so. I could probably say the metal by which Excalibur is forged from could have come from the scales of a Dragon. Which being a cosmic creature would have properties all their own; say near Adamantium/Vibranium levels of durability but not quite there. Maybe a weaker version. You get the gist.

From my original Character sheet. The Sword Excalibur is endowed with a variety of powers, It can cut any man-made object barring any alien or otherworldly materials. It will blind foes upon it being drawn from it’s sheathe. It is nigh unbreakable by any weapon forged by man, with the exception of other mystical weapons and those not from earth. The sheathe itself has powers as well, giving the wielder the ability of temporarily invulnerability, the wielder can be injured but will not bleed from wounds, nor can they be dismembered. And in case the wielder needs to recall the sword it is magically linked to whomever owns the sword, both halves the blade and the sheathe are required for ownership and for the teleportation to work. Apart the blade will remain where is was laid.

Even these were slightly exaggerated as although Excalibur was reported to cut Iron like wood, it's ability to cut through any metal is only for this version of Excalibur. And unlike say Mjolnir which gave the wielder the power of Thor, Excalibur does not posses such an ability. Only a few physical buffs. I could add enhanced speed (Olympic runner or Olympic Fencer level.) To the list of buffs, to give Eva an edge over Super Humans.

As for tweaking the ownership rules. Originally both halves the blade and the sheathe are required for ownership. But I think I'll change that to allow the sword to chose it's owner, much like that of Mjolnir (should they be worthy) Even if Eva were to allow someone to borrow Excalibur they must meet that requirement. That's not to say the sword cannot be stolen from her, the thief just won't have any of the buffs or magical (cut anything) enhancements. That and it still can be recalled by it's owner (Eva) at anytime. Meaning knocking her out, or using Magic! To prevent her from recalling it, or something along those lines. Run any ideas by me if we do a colab.

So let me know if you think the edits are appropriate. I don't think Excalibur should have Mjolnir levels of power, that just doesn't fit with the mythos. But it should make Excalibur that much more powerful.

Here's a question. What kind of mechs are available to the Police or Military? And is there a Mayor of New York? Because if there's no Mayor, then I have an idea for one. Smiling Sampson. A Lex Luthor/Handsome Jack like character. Who hates Meta Humans, and thinks Humanity should be top dog. He's also a grade A jerkbag, who is Evil and insane even. Not madhouse insane but the world is out to get me insane and I need all the power I can get. My idea for him is that he has a anti Meta Human Riot Squad that has various talented individuals and a Mech unit. Think something like this.

Though more Civilian friendly, and less Pacific Rim war-machine. Oh and here's a link to the artist drawing so he can get the credit. http://hekatoncheir.deviantart.com/art/NYPD-s-Finest-351871288
@Byrd Man Man. I love Roosevelt. Just an awesome President. And an even better Hero apparently. You know if Roosevelt ever needed to borrow Excalibur I would have no problem with that. Don't know what Eva would think.

Eva. "Roosevelt who? Ain't heard of him. But no way is anyone 'borrowing' Excalibur."
@NeutralNexus I had a post all ready to go from my phone. But I'm just worried that Excalibur could be too strong. There are Heroes like Icon who I intended would have the stuff needed to destroy Excalibur, I didn't mean to say just anyone of World power level could. And even then Icon would still struggle to bend the sword.

Though in the Marvel Universe there are Villains like Molecule Man who can destroy both Thors' hammer and Captains' Shield. Or Thanos who quite literally bitched slapped Captains' Shield to smithereens.

But I guess the question is. Is Excalibur underpowered?
@Fallenreaper That's a good question. I'd say assuming you do hold onto Excalibur long enough to understand it's composition then sure. So long as you can't break or destroy it. Though twisting it into any shape regardless of how magically sharp Excalibur is will still render the sword useless as you need to be able to cut with it. That said I also might edit the rules of ownership. I'll run that by you guys later after work.
You're speaking like Umbraxis is just going to be dealt with by one person. When it finally reveals itself as something more than a slaughtering shadow-monster, its going to take more than one guy to fight back.

*Cough cough* Pseudo-Avengers Assemble *cough*

I didn't mean to suggest that any one hero can best Umbraxis. But assuming Eva did team up with the other good heroes. Excalibur wouldn't do all that much. Though I have been thinking about defining just how much damage Excalibur can take. If I were to compare Excalibur to something it'd be closer to Captains' Shield in durability. However heroes like Hulk or for someone in IC. Icon can destroy Excalibur. Basically anyone World class or higher can destroy Excalibur. That applies to World class Magic or higher. Though anything less than Cosmic level heroes or magic will still struggle to break Excalibur.

I also thought about giving Excalibur some damage against magic constructs. Or creatures. Because it is a magic weapon.
I'm glad I'm not the one who has to deal with Umbraxis. Sure Excalibur may be strong but I don't think it will have any effect on that Jerkbag.

I think we posted simultaneously.

Arachne: "OH MY FREAKING GOD. YOU NERDS ARE SO UNBEARABLE! ONE OF THESE DAYS, I WILL GET EVEN! MARK MY WORDS!"

I prefer the term devoted fan.. And if you want you're more than welcome to stare.

Eva "Perhaps instead of teasing Arachne, maybe you should get off your ass and get a post up for me!"

Sure sure, I'm getting to you. Eventually.

Arachne: "You think you're the only one? Also, eyes up here...men." *slaps Dedonus* "Why did you make me say that? Perv."
