There could be different galaxies with their own laws and Police Forces in Space. The Frontier regions could be mostly Lawless and Filled with Bounty Hunters, what Law exists here is mostly verifying captures and handing out payment for Bounties.

Unknown Sectors like Earth and the Milky Way would be uncontrolled and Lawless.

A Star Fleet esque group could exist that are mostly concerned about being explorers but still have offensive capabilities.

I think perhaps Subspace would be the most viable form of transit and communications. With some form of Combat Hard-Suits from Mass Effect.

Combat hard-suits use a dual-layer system to protect the wearer. The inner layer consists of fabric armor with kinetic padding. Areas that don't need to be flexible, such as the chest or shins, are reinforced with sheets of lightweight ablative ceramic.
The outer layer consists of automatically-generated kinetic barriers. Objects traveling above a certain speed will trigger the barrier's reflex system and be deflected, provided there is enough energy left in the shield's power cell.

Armored hard-suits are sealable to protect the wearer from extremes of temperature and atmosphere. Standard equipment includes an onboard mini-frame and a communications, navigation, and sensing suite. The mini-frame is designed to accept and display data from a weapon's smart targeting system to make it easier to locate and eliminate enemies.

I'm playing around with the idea that like our world, the galaxy isn't so connected with it's law. Extradition treaties may not be Universal, or what is legal in Sector 5 is Illegal in 89. There could be various law groups who may have tried to unify before and failed. Either due to politics or some super powerful being tearing through and wiping most of them out.

Maybe three or four law groups. With Frontier Galaxies using Bounty Hunters for most of their needs, and more techy and connected Galaxies having a Green Lantern/Nova Core thing going on. Just playing around with ideas.

Possible Unified Galactic Systems, ala Mass Effect, Nova Core, Green Lanterns.

Or Frontier Justice with mismashed ships and gear

From what I’m thinking Let’s drop any possible connections to Green Lanterns. No power rings, or Emotional Spectrums for Space Police Corps or any off shots thereof. Maybe keep it mostly technological. Bio Soldiers, Cyborgs, Robots. Giant Xenotype Aliens maybe? All of the above?

So in the Extraterrestrial Doc I'm typing out ideas for a possible Space Police. Either Nove Core esque or a more Western Frontier Justice thing. Maybe Umbraxis tore through and wrecked any existing Unified Policing before and now it's just fragments until the Galaxy can get it's shit together and reform it.

About the whole Killing everyone and being totally normal with it. Is it possible for someone to be able to do that, yes. It's possible. Can it be conveyed properly in RP form. That's a whole other topic right there. There are just some mental states of mind that are unfathomably difficult to write for; can people do that properly, maybe. Maybe. Will the majority of RPers who make insane, super cold blooded killers who go back into normal super friendly mode after a killing spree; be able to write them properly. Probably not.

It's a different mindset, and there are talented RPers who can do it right, but it isn't for everyone who just wants to be edgy or unique. That's why Character Sheets and A Sample post would weed those out. The RPers who can tackle those types of characters properly will shine through. It's the same deal with Uber Characters or Ninjas. Not everyone can play those types, and if you want to help someone try that's fine but in the end it's the decision of the GMs to allow those types of characters. Those are my thoughts on the matter.

Eva is pretty much done for now. Although she might say something on the plane ride. If she knew how the teleporting door thing worked in Merlin's Library she'd just take that, heck I'm sure she could take everyone that way. But she doesn't and she's more likely to drop them off in a shark cage alongside herself.

It's the kinda door that opens anywhere. It is a private plane right? That allows Pets and Monster Pets? I mean not totally saying Bast and her friends are pets. Just that, they might shed. Dickens doesn't have fur at least. So there's that. Wait? What was I talking about? I think I'm just rambling now.
