Bio

I got into Roleplaying, er more specifically Post by Post Roleplaying around, I think it was four years ago? It feels much longer than that. My good friend whose now far too busy in college introduced me. He wanted by make a Mass Effect RP for his younger brother, or Cousin, something along those line. The games series was far to mature for someone of his age but he felt he could make a family friendly RP. And while that never panned out, I was hooked. Fast forward to the present day and I'm an avid RP and casual writer. I mainly prefer Fallout RPs, and am working on my own which will take place in the fictional Lore of Alaska. But it's far from ready. Between my laziness and my workload of various RPs and Videogames I am often rather busy. Yet I always find myself exceptionally bored. So I like contemplating Philosophical Conundrums.

@Oraculum Welcome to the insanity! I mean. We're totally not crazy. Anyways you can jump in whenever so long as your character is accepted, it's all up to you really. We're a fun chatty bunch and we love helping each other out so if you need ideas, tips or inspiration just ask.
@Nytefall I think you mean Puddle Man!!
@The Survivor Welcome aboard! We're always accepting new players so if you have an idea run it past us or if you have a sheet make sure to tag one of the GMs. Nitemare shape or Dedonous.
Just waiting on the Dilpo Doc Colab. Heh.
The Avatar Project is nearing completion: the Commander is racing against the clock to make contact with new global regions, decimate alien strongholds, facilities, and blacksites, while keeping his XCOM operatives alive and safe.

This is just a simple little... experiment? I've heard other people doing it, so.

Here's what you do: Give me a character. Name, gender, general appearance, and attitude, and I'll make a character in my XCOM 2 game to fit it. Then, I take them out on missions and report to you, whoever made that character, what class they became, general performance, etc. In story form, of course.

Here's a short storyline of the XCOM series:

2015: Alien invasion. XCOM is designated to be the counter force to the aliens
2016: XCOM fails, and is destroyed; the aliens take over
2020: Human population subdued from active rebellion
2025: Human population calmed and generally subdued
2026: ADVENT created to be the common peacekeepers; troopers and the like.
2027: Human scientists and engineers are recruited to work on alien technologies
2035: Various rebels- soldiers, survivors of the former XCOM, scientists, engineers- gather again to reform XCOM and fight back

So, here's a little sheet:

Name:
Nickname:
Gender:
Backstory: (Optional- put date of birth and such in here. Current date is 2035)
General appearance: (Sharper face, scarred, tattooed, etc.)
Attitude: (By the book, hard luck, intense, happy-go-lucky, twitchy)
Class: (Ranger is CQC, Grenadier is heavy weapons, Sharpshooter is ranged combat, Specialist is support and medium range)
Subclass: (Ranger: Assault or Scout. Grenadier: Demolitions Expert or Gunner. Sharpshooter: Sniper or Gunslinger. Specialist: Battle Medic or Combat Hacker)
Other: Anything else you'd like to add.

Accepted/Approved Characters:

If you're on PC you can actually import characters via the Creator menu thing which totally escapes my memory. I actually made one to be imported.
@VATROU Oh I get it. Basically like a targeting rocket launcher, except not explosive and not a missile.

My thoughts are, the bolts are honing in on the overcharged energy you injected the enemy with that is why you need to charge an object and why the bolts cannot do that themselves as they expel all their energy at once.
@VATROU Wait, so do I need a object to throw like an bolt. Or do I just make an bolt out of my hands and it targets the person I'm aiming for?

My idea was, you could toss out bolts but if you want to mark someone you'd need to mark an object to touch an enemy. This would give you an auto aim to hurl bolts from around corners even if you cannot see them, so long as you don't lose sight for too long.
@VATROU That's not a bad idea.

So basically, a sort of telekenisis?

Kinda, it's like marking an object so you can fire off explosive bolts with extreme accuracy.
@Chaotic Chao Maybe instead of using thrown objects, you just need a physical connection to do that you can toss an object a playing card or whatever so that touch extends to your enemy. Then your powers could lock on and you could toss bolts from wherever you are as long as you don't lose sight of them for too long.
@Fallenreaper Don't forget, Barron is like backup plan D or F at this point. In case neither of these outcomes come to pass once Season 1 ends.
