Gotham city plots

These can certainly be tweaked or built upon! Could use Nate or come up with another character as well as play canons for these...

1. A main roster of villains (headed by the Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and Scarecrow) have taken over Arkham Asylum and run it as a means to work together to take down Gotham (and effectively take out Batman in the process). Their ranks move mostly in secret, leaving room for civilians to remain just a little bit ignorant to the terror of the crisis. Gothamites are savvy to the fact that something is amiss at Arkham thanks to news warnings to say clear of the area and police barricades on the road to the asylum, but they won't have full details of it being entirely run by these villains.

This plot has potential for a villain of the week scenario with new creative ways of trying to take them out but the real interest comes in the heroes confusion on where to now put these criminals once they are apprehended again.

2. The people of Gotham are sick of crime. They're sick of criminals. A faction of resistance against criminals, made up of handfuls of capable civilians, has come into organisation. The group of people began as an attempt to help vigilantes of Gotham like Batman, Robin, Black Canary, etc., take down the bad guys. The faction grew out of control and aggressive, beginning to think themselves above the law. Now, not only is the faction interested in ending operations run by criminals but they are also working to overthrow people such as Commissioner Gordon, Batman, Nightwing, and anyone else trying to get these people to resume their regular civilian lives.

The faction of resistance began as a concern for Gordon and Batman but never a threat. Now, they've begun crossing lines of the law and the Bat Family as well as Gordon have to worry about the regular villains of Gotham as well as this faction of people looking to stop just about everyone.

Marvel based plots

1. A terrible illness is spreading across New York and branching areas. People are being admitted to emergency rooms with flu-like symptoms that escalate over a period of about a week until death. The few who survive this strange influenza are entirely possessed by an alien force. As it turns out, the alien Symbiotes have invaded earth and are hunting for suitable hosts. Many of the human hosts are incapable of supporting the Symbiote and die. Those who don't die become incredible dangers as the parasites are hell bent on destruction.

An invasion is becoming terrifyingly immanent and these corrupted Symbiotes must be stopped before they overrun the population of earth.

Injustice: One Year Later

The first year of Superman's regime has come to an end and it is the beginning of a new and terrifying type of tyranny. After the death of Lois Lane and her unborn child and the entire destruction of Metropolis, thanks to the Joker, Superman descends into a dark mindset of policing the entire world to free it of crime. World leaders are forcibly stopped, criminal groups are slaughtered, and a regime is built around Superman's vision of a 'safe' world. At his side, Wonder Woman, Robin (Damian Wayne), Hawkgirl, and a number of others work to bring his vision to fruition through oppressive intimidation tactics and violent suggestion. An insurgency arose around Batman who opposed this method of dictatorship and together with heroes like Catwoman, Black Canary, Batwoman, Doctor Fate, and Harley Quinn, they are banding together in an attempt to stop Superman and his regime.

Is your character on the side of Superman and his Regime? Will they fight against governments, murder criminals, and use any means to intimidate the threat of criminal activity? Or do they stand with Batman and his Insurgency who are working to try and show the Regime that they are becoming nothing more than the villains they once fought together to protect the world from. Perhaps they have defected from one group to another... the path of right and wrong is no longer black and white, a man who was one a beacon of hope and justice has become something terrifying and a terror of the night is hoping he can bring back the light. Where will your character end up?

This RP would revolve around events after year one of the Injustice story line. It would be incredibly loosely based as I prefer to take liberty and allow for creative growth in story line. Canon characters can be played and I'm happy to inject original characters as well! If you'd like any clarification of the story, let me know and I can go a little more in depth. If this seems like your cup of tea, toss me a PM and perhaps we can work on something!

HeroxVillain

A more simplistic 'plot' based around a pairing rather than a real story. Hero (or villain) isn't overly great or experienced at 'heroing' ('villaining') yet and faces a foe who is much, much better at going up against them. Interestingly enough, the two have chemistry and form something of a CatwomanxBatman type relationship where they end up back with the other.

Fantasy Plot

All around the kingdom, death is rampant. Animals are dying, foliage is unable to grow. A plague on life known as the Deadland is reaching across the known world. This is a plague of legend and has been written about in ages past. A dark and powerful magic is emerging causing the spread of the Deadland and it must be stopped or the entire continent- perhaps the entire world- will be consumed by it.

@Ruby My day was alright! Today is about the same, though I don't have work today, so I think I'll be stuck doing house work. It's sort of dreary outside.

@Lurking Shadow Productivity always feels good. I always feel most productive when I've come out with something well written!

@TwelveOf8 Oh, I do both! I get inspired by films and music and get that itch to make a new character and find an RP to place them in. Typically their stories come very organically even without an RP being attached to them! Typically, those characters end up being my favourites because I spend so much time on the character rather than worrying about the story and the other characters involved.

I'm sorry about your schedule. That certainly isn't fun. I hope you get a chance to switch shifts sometime soon =3
