It's a really yummy chewy candy. I always get vanilla flavored. It's kind of sticky, made with sugar, butter, cornstarch, salt and water I think. They always have the machines pulling it for everyone to see like this:

A state fair. Lots of food, a few rides, plenty of booths and things. It's nice to walk around at and get some salt water taffy. (Nothing as exciting as possibly going to Disneyworld! haha)
