Personal Information Name: Raleigh Holter Theron Alias/ Nickname (If Any): Rye, Holt, Doe, Buck, Hart Age: 18 Gender: Male Cabin: Three
Appearance (Prefer Picture):
Family Godly Parent: Poseidon, God of the oceans, horses, and earthquakes. Human Parent: Laela Kapahu Theron; Mother; A Professor of Oceanography born in San Francisco, California and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. Human Step-Parent: George Theron; Step-father; Fisherman. Legacy: Ὠρίων - Orion, the giant huntsman, made into a constellation by Zeus.
General Information Personality: An extremely tidy individual, Raleigh is quiet and reserved, preferring the comfort of a good book, a warm blanket, and a cozy fire over the company of others. Raleigh is akin to the calm of the seas, very methodical and often graceful in his movement. He appreciates serenity and predictability, because he finds it difficult to maintain that under a lot of circumstances. Vulnerability is both seen as a weakness and a strength to him; it gives him the opportunity to see and feel the beauty of the world, but it gives people an opening to truly hurt him. But, Raleigh likes that about himself, even if it leads to an unpredictable roller coaster of emotions and can put him under great duress during stressful times. Regardless, that doesn't quite mean he's a social person, as he's still rather reserved (however difficult it is to maintain that when he lets most of the emotions he feels show). Raleigh doesn't mind people, in fact he likes people, for the most part, he just doesn't like interacting with them. Something about observing others, being on the sidelines, just watching appeals to Raleigh more that social interaction. People intrigue him, though he often tells himself that it's the idea of how he perceives people that interests him. In fact, some even go in so far to say that Raleigh is purely romantic; he thinks more grandly, more passionately, and more surreal than others around him. He sees things in a different shade, a less realistic shade, than what the world gives him and that can be both endearing and dangerous, especially in regards to being too trusting, though his reserved nature aids him in withdrawing the eyes of those who would do seek to use him. There have been more stories he's written and books he's read than people he's made friends with and that's in due part to where he was raised. Being isolated either isolates one further, or holds back a being waiting to be released. Unfortunately for Raleigh, when exposed to the populated world of America, he wasn't the type to go thrive and crave (almost dangerously for some) for socialization and anything different. He became more reserved and cautious, but also more intrigued. He would overstep his boundaries by a fraction to see or hear or smell, but never would he go too far. He preferred to feel and see how other people reacted, rather than participate himself. The world was a giant experiment and he felt the need to conduct it, or at least part of it, realizing that he was just a minuscule part of it all. Raleigh was a lot like the oceans of his home town, calm and serene; the eerie beauty of the horizon; the giant bustle of a coral reef; and the gentle waves. He preferred the laziness of the coast as he saw it and he relished in the lapping of the waves. It shaped him more than he'd like to admit. Likes: The ocean, writing, the sound of waves hitting the shore, the reflection of the moon in the water, being cozy, reading, watermelon smoothies, exotic sea food (especially sushi), hearing the bustle of a large crowd, noisy parks. Dislikes: Nosiness, thunder, unsweetened coffee, the lingering odor of cigarettes, anything that assaults the nose (minus wasabi), too much perfume/cologne, tight spaces, getting peanut butter stuck to the roof of his mouth, and brain freezes. Talents: Exceptionally skilled at archery and tracking, endurance swimming and running, stealth, cooking, evasion, writing, surprisingly skilled at giving public presentations, psychology.
Biography: It wasn't actually too difficult to deduce what had happened, especially with how Raleigh turned out, but life in denial is an easy one. Raleigh's supposed father, a fisherman who often went on long journeys of the coast of Honolulu, just twenty or so minutes from their hometown of Waipahu, Hawaii and not too far from the University his mother taught at (both parents had moved there when they were younger, Laela from California who was only 1/8 Hawaiian and George from Alaska). Being centered near a large city, especially one often populated by tourists, meant many different faces walked the halls of Chaminade University of Honolulu or at least the surrounding areas. During one of Raleigh's father's trips, his mother had a small affair with what she assumed was another professor. Upon George's arrival, Laela had found out she was pregnant and it wasn't hard to know that George wasn't the father, however, the time she'd conceived was wide enough to fool Raleigh's father. George didn't suspect anything, either because he didn't want to or he truly believed Raleigh was his child. It wasn't too difficult to think otherwise, but being told one was the father of a child did many things to the mind. George wanted to believe Raleigh was his, so he simply did.
Life growing up wasn't that difficult, as Raleigh had pretty much whatever he needed, aside from a father to spend much time with. His dad—both of them—were often too busy with work to spend time with him, or even in the vicinity around him. Family consisted of him and his mother and sometimes a few other relatives and family friends; community where he lived was very tight knit, so it was common to see random visitors in his home whenever he came back from school. Raleigh was used to it, though he wasn't very social to begin with. He appreciated everyone's company, but he only really craved attention from his mother and father. People aside from his parents were simply more fascinating from a far, or at least when they weren't trying to goad him into talking.
Spending most of his time in books and journals during school meant Raleigh wasn't considered very approachable; he was invisible to the rest of the students, just about how he liked it. But, that also meant he didn't quite have enough help for classes and often relied on himself. Intelligence remained a strong point for Rye, however, and he found various ways to get over the hurdles of his disabilities, or at least that's what he assumed they were. Things weren't often shared when it came to what afflicted Raleigh and so he'd no idea he had issues that could have possibly been fixed were they diagnosed. Despite being a very reserved individual, Raleigh often had a difficult time standing still and it was very hard for Raleigh to both read and write, despite both being something he was passionate about. It took him longer to learn both, but he did so with amazing determination, even if it he could only read and write at half the speed of other children. It just meant he retained more information, could utilize his imagination better, and thought carefully about what was written, even if he often wrote and rewrote a hundred times.
It wasn't until he was old enough that his mother told him the truth and that she, herself, found out the truth. And it only ever came at the most inconvenient of times. One weekend afternoon on the beach, Raleigh had found himself dragged a little too far from the coast and suddenly yanked beneath the water. However, it came as a surprise to him that he was perfectly fine, aside from the thing that had forced him down in the first place. After ripping himself away, Raleigh was pulled to safety by a local life guard, despite not being in any form of distress. Unable to explain the occurrence away, he went to the only person he could confide in, his mother. She'd told him what she could before pushing an envelope into his hands. It smelled of sea salt and very pricey cologne that reminded him of the coral reefs that lined the ocean ridge. They were tickets to the mainland, two to be precise; one for him and one for what he suspected would be his mother. That wasn't exactly the case, however, as he was sent to the bustling city of New York and then taken hastily to a place he couldn't quite recollect if he wanted to.
Early morning, the sun rising, that was all he could remember as he entered, exhausted and dehydrated, but wholly unharmed, into what seemed like a lodge resort. All he could think of was calling his mother one last time, but was instantly swept away into the liveliness of Camp Half-Blood, where he simply repressed his questions until they were answered for him or were completely forgotten. But, it was hard to forget about someone that lived only to care for you and it was hard not to worry from time to time, even as the year passed and he couldn't think of any other place he'd be happier.
Cabin Three smelled a lot like sea salt, with the faintest hint of a reef. He could only ever imagine the smell in a fancy, cologne bottle nestled in the corner of the medicine cabinet where it always sat, half-used, but untouched for what seemed like years.
Theme Song:
(Still Working on this one; it takes me a little while to find the right song.)
Weapon Information Weapon Name: Μέσα από τη Σκύλλα - Through Scylla Weapon Type: Bow and Arrow/Daggers
Weapon Appearance:
Attributes: A bow made from celestial steel and ebony, ribbed in a golden trimming. The bow itself has a nasty bite, and the arrows are able to part into six upon release should the holder need it. The arrows shoot forth with increasing velocity before sinking into its target(s) and pulling forward rather than pushing or pinning. The arrow then locks into the flesh, sinking further if pulled on—its blade are like rows of sharp teeth, biting down on its victim and seizing until they give in. If left alone, the arrows fall out and dissipate into a watery foam. Each arrow is made from specially from water that the user manipulates, turned salty through simply willing it. The arrows deal more in pain than in actual harm, though in the right hands are just as dangerous as any other, if not more so.
When in close quarters combat, the holder of the weapon can use two of the arrows as daggers, transforming them from piercing bullets into daggers curved into sharp canines. They shred and rend anything that gets close enough, tearing into whatever they can sink their teeth in to flimsy remains. Once in their clutches, it's difficult to break free as any resistance causes the daggers to lock into place until the victim stops moving. Furthermore, the daggers, due to how vicious they tear through flesh, don't often have to finish the dirty work as the victims are more prone to bleeding out than actually being killed by the blades. They don't do as much harm as a regular blade would, but the effects afterwards are as deadly as any venom and it may even seem that way once one's life force flows out in continuous waves. They cause more pain than harm as well, as each blade oozes with a layer of salt water that burns like venom in the wounds.
Both daggers and arrows aren't as harmful as their average counterparts, but given enough time can bring down even the biggest foes with enough shots.
Personal Information Name: Thaddeus Gresham Kingsley Alias/ Nickname (If Any): Thane, T, King Age: 17 Gender: Male Cabin: 13 - Hades
Appearance:
Family Godly Parent: Thanatos Human Parent: Lydia Kingsley [half Greek/half English]
General Information Likes: Rain, Tacos, The night sky, High places, Novels, Bitter foods, Stubborn people, Passion Dislikes: Death, His Father, Violence, Mud, Loneliness, The colour orange Talents: Cooking and Singing, often at he same time. He also enjoys photography and exploring and, if given the chance, will wander off into the woods for hours.
Biography: Life was straight out of a Greek tragedy for Thane, his being a demigod his curse. It wasn't until his third year of life that the family resemblance began to make itself known, his left arm turning black like obsidian stone over the course of a single night, his demi-godhood seeming to suddenly awaken. He was found by his grandfather three days later, his mother's lifeless body sprawled out across his nursery. When his grandfather went to him, he reeled back in horror at the sight of Thane's arm, unsure what to make of it. He knew vaguely of his grandson's father, the man having told Thane's mother that he was the hand of death, Thanatos. His grandfather had thought the man a madman until now, seeing the hand that brought death upon his daughter. His grandfather wrapped Thane's arm in bandages, carefully ensuring that every centimeter of flesh was properly covered. He never spoke of what Thane did to his mother, not wanting to force him to bear such a burden, though the memory of that day had forever been burned into his mind's eye.
Thane spent his youth rarely leaving his house, his grandfather not exactly sure what to do with him. His grandfather tried his best to educate Thane, though Thane took the initiative to teach himself while his Grandfather went to work as an accountant. Money was never much of an issue and food was always on the table, but Thane rarely felt happy hiding away from the world in his Grandfather's ancient home, feeling so far away from the rest of the world. Thane developed a habit of sneaking out in the dead of night with a Polaroid camera to explore the small town he lived in, it being his only way to really feel alive. Those were the times he was happiest though as with all good things, they must eventually come to an end. His grandfather had developed pneumonia and was on his way out. He revealed a letter he had kept hidden for sixteen years that his mother had meant to give him once he was old enough. It was a letter from his father, Thanatos, directing him to the camp of half bloods, where he could live with fewer worries. Thane's last night with his grandfather he held his hand, giving him a peaceful passing.
Theme Song:
Weapon Information Weapon Name: Αιώνια Ειρήνη - Eternal Peace Weapon Type: Left arm Weapon Appearance: The skin of his left arm from the shoulder down has darkened to the point that its obsidian in color, his nails having followed suit as well.
Attributes: The most notable thing he inherited from his father was the a muted touch of death which only inhabits his left arm. His touch to mortals draws them into a state of unconsciousness after approximately eight seconds and, should he continue, within a matter of seconds death is sure to follow. The effect it has on demigods and mythical beings has yet to be tested and will remain untested if Thane has his way. In order for his weapon to be used, he requires hand to skin contact, which is made difficult with the bandages he wraps his arm in.Personal Information Name: Auguste Elais De La Fontaine Alias/ Nickname: Eli, Romeo Age: 18 Gender: Male Cabin: Cabin Ten

Biography: Faris was born as a status symbol for her mother. Her mom had been rather famous but was starting to lose modeling jobs when she got pregnant. She made sure to leak the story to all sorts of news outlets about how the father was unknown and how she planned on raising her daughter in all sorts of unconventional ways. It brought her back in the lime light enough to be thought of, and then again when she “got her body back in 2 months!” according to the papers when she was photographed pushing Faris around in her stroller (after having called the paparazzi ahead of time). In reality, her mother hardly paid attention to her or wanted her. Faris grew up running to her nanny on Christmas morning, not her mother. And everything made her angry. She was pissed off at the world for the tiniest things, often not understanding why she would go into rages. Her mother dealt with it by telling someone who worked for her to take Faris out and buy her whatever she wanted. Only Faris cared little for material things, except maybe weapons which she began collecting and practicing with in her room. She eventually asked her mother for lessons in things like Jujitsu, to which her mother obliged, not really caring.
Faris was homeschooled and never went to public school, her mother too proud to send her daughter out for an education beyond their home. Faris eventually hated the indoors by the time she was 16, and began running away constantly, often with boys getting drunk and into fights with other girls for the dumbest reasons. When a video of her pummeling a girl hit the internet, her mother knew she had to send Faris somewhere before the cops came. She actually put in an effort, researched, and discovered Camp Half Blood. She hesitantly sent her daughter away, fighting and clawing, ticked to be made to go anywhere, all the way to the plane to camp.

The shield is incredibly lightweight while still able to block both physical and supernatural/magic attacks. The edge is sharpened as well to be used as a weapon when brought down on an opponent, in case Faris finds herself without her spear.
Personal Information Name: Caien Cobb Alias/ Nickname (If Any): Cai Age: 15 Gender: Male Cabin: Eleven
Appearance
Family Godly Parent: Hermes Human Parent: Gwyn Cobb Legacy: Helios (Sixth Generation) Friends: None. Partner: None.
General Information Personality: Cai is like the kid you can stand but that will annoy you at some point. He is annoyingly witty and has a nack for getting information that he shouldn't have access to. He also doesn't shame on dropping that information on someone at random times (not the most tactic move often) which doesn't make him liked either. Yet he is an optimistic fellow who actually fairs pretty okay on his own. He doesn't talk overly much and isn't the one that is the center of attention or that stands out in a crowd. Sometimes he is just there. Energy isn't something Cai has little of. He could be up and running around the whole day, yet he can also sit still for long periods of time. Because of all the traveling he did he can basically sleep anywhere and is used to little comfort and guarding his own stuff. Likes: Climbing (basically anything that can be climbed, but especially places you aren't allowed), Fancy coats, Good food, A good laugh, Gossip, Rock and Rythm and Blues music, Traveling around. Dislikes: Not knowing things, Techno music, Boring people, Darkness. Talents: Running (which made PE one of his favorite subjects at school), Stealing.
Biography: As long as Cai can remember he has been traveling around with his mother. His mother grew up in a house of six children and two not as rich parents located in a teeny tiny village in New Mexico where everyone knew everyone and nothing ever happened. So it was small and cramped and cheap and as soon as she was legally allowed Gwyn left her home and set out to see the world. She only brought one bag and hardly any money and set out to find small jobs. This, of course, meant that she never had much money to spend, but that didn't matter. She was free.
Her free life of travelling through America ended when she met Hermes, became pregnant and was forced to at least settle down for longer periods of time, Her little baby Cai had to go to school after all at some point, but she never had many problems with the fact that he ended up not fitting in. She found in it a reason that they could move again, that she could travel again. Daily she would tell her boy stories of her travels, but she would also take up herself to tell him myths. Not only greek, but also norse, egyptian, indian etc. Cai never thought that they were more then stories, but he enjoyed them immensely never the less.
Like most demigods Cai had difficulties with school. He sure didn't mean taking all that stuff from others, but if they just left out in the open then well, that was their own fault wasn't it? Just a quick grab and then it was in his pocket. Besides that he was the annoying guy who tended to say things that nobody wanted to hear, spoke at the wrong time or asked exactly the wrong questions (which were actually the right ones if you look at from his perspective). He wasn't bad at making friends, just bad at keeping them also because they kept moving.
It has only been recent that his mother told him that those stories might actually be real and that his father was the god of travel himself, Hermes, because she felt that he should know the truth about himself before he would set out in the world on his own. Cai was surprised of course, but more than that he was excited. All those stories he loved where true, meaning they were useful. A whole world ready to explore. But with the mist lifted from his eyes he was also in more danger and so his mother dropped him off at Camp Half-Blood, knowing that it would be safer for him. For now it is just for the summer, but that is all up to what lies in the future.
Other Other - Carries a lighter even though he doesn't smoke. - Cai actually has difficulties with being in the dark for long periods of time. - He has a little tattoo of the sun located on the inside of his left wrist
Personal Information Name: Gaspard Aucoin Alias/ Nickname (If Any): - Age: 17 Gender: Male Cabin: Cabin Twenty
Appearance:
Family Godly Parent: Εκάτη / Hecate / Goddess of magic, sorcery, witchcraft, crossroads, trivial knowledge, and necromancy. Human Parent: Reynaud Aucoin Legacy: Ἔρις / Eris / Spirit of strife, discord, contention, and rivalry.
General Information Personality: Gaspard is an observer by nature, whether he’s in the middle of a conversation or sitting in the corner. He has a calculating eye and an ear for details, and he can pick out what makes people interesting, attractive, or irritating as hell. He keeps a mental tally of the good and bad things people have done, in case he ever needs them for blackmail (not that he, a quiet wallflower, would ever need to… or at least, not that anyone would ever suspect him of doing it). People think he’s not listening, but really, he’s catching everything they say, secretly finding amusement in it.
Gaspard judges everyone equally - whether they’re all equally dumb or equally boring. He doesn’t like doing things unless the other party can supply him some sort of benefit in return, whether it’s grabbing a book for someone, holding their things for them, or finding them a joint to smoke. Friends or not, his time and energy are valuable, and he must have something to compensate for his loss; only rarely will he ever say “personal satisfaction is enough.”
That, however doesn’t mean he has no soft spot to speak of, it merely is particularly difficult to find. Naturally venomous, stoic, and even distant, he is used to putting on a variety of faces so as to achieve any means to an end. Gaspard is a bleeding heart for others, who like himself, have gone through some form of adversity. Likes: Stephen King, people-watching, tattoos, drama, cats. Dislikes: Babies, people who can't take a joke, excessively bright colours, waking up before 11, confrontation Talents: Surprisingly, cooking.
Biography: Born and raised in New Orleans, childhood for Gaspard wasn't quite as picturesque as some others'. Burdened with a father and step-mother who used their child as something to take their anger out on, Gaspard often dreamed of the day he'd be free of them. His days as a child were a constant game of hide and seek, dodging both of his parents who were a mess of screaming matches and alcohol. He became used to hiding under desks, beds, and in closets, all in order to avoid their stinging hits. Unfortunately, he wasn’t always quick enough, and the abuse he would suffer was only more severe after he was dragged out kicking and screaming from under the bed.
Being caught trying to run away, a twelve year old Gaspard was shoved into his freezing garage, locked inside for the night without a second thought. Trying to find something to keep himself warm, Gaspard instead found a box filled with dusty, old books. Covered in symbols, he opened up the grimoire to take a look inside. Reading about magic that included curses, hexes, and enchantments… there was nothing more that he wished to be true. And when they proved to be just that years later when practiced for the hell of it, payback was more than warranted for.
Cursing his parents with such awful visions that it put them into permanent psychiatric care, Gaspard was finally free of them when he was fifteen years old. He didn’t even mind being sent off to live in an orphanage - it beat his own home any day of the week. Only packing a bag of clothes, and the grimoire that had so heavily paid off, that was all he felt he needed. Power like that at his fingertips? He could get used to that.
When Gaspard learned about his demigod heritage a month later, he believed it immediately. Unlike most half-bloods who try to deny it, Gaspard was ready for Camp Half-Blood the second he heard about it. Training with a weapon everyday? Learning to better manipulate the Mist? Playing capture the flag with possible bloodshed? He was all over it. What can he say, he likes that sort of thing.
Attributes: A silver dagger with a decorated handle, useful both for performing blood rituals or simply for stabbing. Because of the material, it is particularly effective at dispatching werewolves. Meanwhile, the grimoire contains an impressive catalogue of spells and rituals, most of them focusing on using the Mist to create illusions.
