Every time I insult a certain coworker, i'll take money from their jar. Saving for beer would never be easier!

Utopian would be the word. It's way too much, way too quick, and way too vague. I do think that eventually we'll have a post-scarcity society, but it isn't something that'll happen in ten years. From the American Revolution to now, society doesn't just accept it's evolution, it has to be dragged in baby steps kicking and screaming into the future.
The service industry is the worse thing. I've phased between service jobs, physical labor jobs, and dead-end office jobs quite a few times, and the former are the worst thing. When I was a kid, I used to think people doing the same repetitive movements like in a factory had it worst off, but in my experience that isn't true - those jobs you can improve 200% with a pair of headphones or somebody next door who is interesting to talk to. But there is nothing more painful, more tedious, then having to deal with the public. And that all of those service jobs are ran by people who hate their jobs... that doesn't help at all.

I suck too much at this type of thing to play online. Better for me to accept I am a wussy casual.

I made money when I needed it by making glass orbs. I could make a substantial amount of money and make experience in a lot of fields fucking with glass. Then you sold it over the Grand Exchange and went on with your day.

Failing that I found selling loose unwanted herbs was a good way to make a substantial amount of money. If I ever found myself fighting herb-drop heavy monsters I'd be sure to keep certain herbs.

I did that too, but shit don't pay the bills.

dunno, pasta?
I played Runescape unironically for a long time.

Same.

Then I got my first job in a computer lab. Kept one computer running runescape fishing monkfish during my shift, and only made enough money to be not-poor. Once I realized you had to put in job-like hours to make the game work out for you, I lost interest. I don't like having to work in real life, ain't going to simulate doing the same shit in a game.

The only mistake in that story is that you allowed them to follow you, rather than crushing them into dust.

I tried, but I suck a variety pack of testicles when the odds are stacked 5-2 against me.

>Not letting them choke on atritio-

Wait, I guess TW doesn't do Attrition? It's been awhile since I played.

They suffer winter attrition, but that takes for facking ever.
