Welcome, welcome!
The short and sweet:
I'm an old lady in my thirties, so I ask my partners be 18+.
A veteran of many years of writing - I started way back in the days of wolf packs on AOL.
Female and pansexual; I write with any and all genders - recently, I'm delving into attempting to write male roles.
Dog mom and outdoor enthusiast; medical professional, volunteer firefighter, first responder, and wildlife rehabilitator.
I'm a fairly open book that has written just about everything at some point or another. I tend to write decent to long posts, play female characters (attempting to round that out), and I'm amenable to most ideas. I love slice of life, historical, fantasy, and apocalyptic adventures.
World building is fun, but so is quick play. I have a few partners that go back with me for years that I've built entire worlds and multiple generations with.
I tend to have "flawed" characters; perfection is boring, character development is not. Learning to work through their flaws, or overcome fears, is a driving point to play for me. Some of them have profiles, some of them do not. Preferences are for the dark, gritty, and rough - I don't go for fairy tales because everything being perfect would be boring.

Warriors that can read minds, perform so tightly as a unit that it is said they can see from one another's eyes and feel one another's pain.
They're stronger, faster, more resilient than a normal human, like some monsters from a horror story.
Every hidden scientific venture has a drawback - or many, for that matter.
For all their power, perhaps they are no longer truly human.

The Basics
- Founded in 1726 as 'Preeminence' by alchemists
- Original goal was to allow for mystical powers with more use of the brain
- Evolved from herbal concoctions to genome sequencing and DNA splicing - always continuing onward
- Originally tested on the ill, insane, and unwanted; all involuntarily
- Units exist in the USA and the UK with strict handling
- Cull rates of test subjects was originally 100%, now down to 87%

More of this can be discussed in PM, but I have been wanting to play with this concept lately. Both genders are more than welcome and this does not need to be romantic. (Though, it could be a nice change of pace if it does go that way!)

I already have two characters I touch between in this, a surviving member and a scientist. There are many possibilities for someone to play: a candidate, a handler, scientist, medical doctor, politician, etcetera.
