I've noticed that the geographic map is a bit plain, missing things like highlands, deserts and snow. I'm giving players the ability to add these features into their country, however within reason, there will be no tundra on the equator, nor will there be rainforests in antarctica; use common sense. If you want to add a bit of ruggedness where there isn't, go ahead, or a marsh where it isn't expressly obvious, alright. But agin, common sense.
