Walt had to make a dive for the ground to avoid being directly blasted by an energy beam, but the attack did manage to graze his shoulder and winced in agony from the intensely hot beam. The energy blast hit a sign post and exploded causing the six feet of the area around to be blasted apart. Luckily no one was close enough to the area to get killed, but debris did get sent flying everywhere and hit several bystanders. Walt created a cartoon suit of armor that he was wearing over his costume to add some extra protection and then crafted a cartoon javelin with a boxing glove on the end.

"Time to vanquish a dragon" he said with a chuckle, he didn't really intend to kill the villain he just wanted to say something funny. Walt made the javelin fly at the criminal and it the boxing glove socked the man in the face causing him to stagger backwards. Walt then proceeded to create a construct of Battle Cat from He-Man and used him as a mount to ride on. He then made a lance with a boxing glove on the end appear in his right hand which he would use as a weapon, and with a command he made the giant feline charge the villain and had his lance aimed to strike Energizer in the face.

Walt is battling a villain very close by where your character is at, so I'm pretty sure someone would alert him to a super powered fight going on.

Walt crafted a large white gloved cartoon hand that was identical to the gloves that many Disney characters wore and he made the construct give the stop hand sign that one would see on some roads, just as the energy guy fired off another beam of energy. The blast hit the palm of the giant glove and is cartoon fashion the construct shook itself like someone who had just burned their hand.

The glove then clenched itself into a first and flew directly towards the criminal. The cartoon devil also went into action charged towards the man at incredible speeds like a cartoon character. The criminal released a powerful blast of energy from his body and it knocked the two construct away and caused them to vanish.

"You can't play games with me boy! I am Energizer and I will blow your head off!" the man shouted and then shot a ball of energy from his palm towards Walt. He quickly created a bowling ball that was the size of a large boulder and made it roll at an insanely fast pace towards Energizer and made the blast explode against it showing not much damage. The ball was seeking to run over the super powered villain, but Energizer was able to dodge the attack, but Walt wouldn't the criminal get away from the bowling ball that easily and he made it change directions to go after the villain again.
