Whenever you have a bad day, just remember - someone out there has to clean public toilets.

Everyone's getting excited for November 10th because of Fallout. Bit of a missed opportunity if I say so myself, the really memorable day is just one over.

Leagsaidh was caught slightly off-guard at the girl's brusque introduction. Nevertheless, she took it in stride.

"It looks more difficult than it is." She giggled "It's pronounced 'lek-say'. I assume I have the pleasure of speaking to Miss Alice Murray?"

The Irish girl stood back and appraised her roommate. She was tall, about a head taller than herself, and dark-skinned. She was pretty in a fierce way, although she could do with a bit less scowling and a bit more smiling. Her body was lithe but muscular, not unlike that of a football player or a runner. Leagsaidh's head was about the same level as Alice's buxom bosom, and she had this very Amazonian feel. A South American, doubtlessly - Brazilian from the accent. Leagsaidh decided she quite liked this girl, despite her vulgarity.

"It's nice to meet you, Miss Alice. Or would you prefer Miss Murray?" Leagsaidh gave her a sweet smile as she spoke. It never hurt to make a good first impression and if she was to be sharing a room with this girl all year, it was crucial they got along.

"I was wondering if you could help me. You see, I'm new here and I don't know where the homerooms are. Would you mind if I were to walk with you to class?"

Oh, the alliteration. Viewtiful, just viewtiful

Hence why it's out of action.
@Crimmy

Only enough shipping to put the Thames out of action.

The name is hard to spell, it's like League Said with an H at the end.

Alice would then say," Your forbidden fruit, and I won't say it again, either 40 bucks or your fruit, your choice."

Meh, I never saw it as an issue. Benefits of chosing a native name, I suppose.

That's remarkably cheap for someone of Leagsaidh's... quality and purity, isn't it? Unless she wants it in US dollars or something, in which case she's doomed.

Oh wait, she's Brazilian. Yeah, I see it now.

Well what about her fruit ? What if Alice said she wanted O'Donnell's fruit.

Come on! Leagsaidh is not a hard name to say - it's just like lexy, lexi and leksy. Which are all perversions of the original Gaelic Scottish name

She'd probably look at you wide eyed and bemused and say 'I beg your pardon?"
@Spriggs27

Well, Money's no object. And depending on what kind of favour, that may be more preferable.
@White Feather

I wouldn't worry about it. There's a 40% chance she's just lying anyway.

@Spriggs27, help me. I beg of you...
@TheWindel

I don't even want to think about the suggestion in that comment...
