The pledges state that you cannot be caught cheating, and only lose if you are caught. What difference does it make if we're not?

Even if White doesn't see it, when we at low levels start offing really high up players--and look completely legitimate--she'll have to come and stop us. And then you'll get your chance.
<Snipped quote by Dynamics>

No, thank you. Though, fortunately for us, this place didn't make Jin quite as strong or smart as he actually was.

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

*Opens the door to the next room, waiting for you all to enter before entering myself so as to prevent you from being sealed in*

-Ruby- *goes in*

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Perhaps. But according to the bylaws, cheating is handled domestically.

*grins* It's not cheating if you don't get caught. We're smart. We're special. A little bit of magic here. Hide your powers a little there.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Genos: Because you have no idea...?

I do. But it's just one of those things.

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

<Snipped quote by Extra>

Then what's the next course of action?

We could attempt to cheat.

<Snipped quote by Extra>

What if we forced White out of this dimension so the pledges no longer apply?

Maybe. But we would have to get to her first. And wasn't the whole point of fighting her to get to her?

<Snipped quote by Dynamics>

Don't waste the energy. We don't need to kill it. It's merely the room attempting to use my experiences against me. Let's go.
*Walks to the other end of the room*

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

It's quite alright.

-Ruby- *follows*
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Both:....

<Snipped quote by Host>

Okay then.

I mean they were two separate people. Rhythm couldn't have been White from the start--and Tempo doesn't see signs of the Double Soul program.
<Snipped quote by Extra>

I'd never do it to her. She wouldn't do it to me, then...

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Then White can't even have Rhythm's soul, as you suggested. I'd sense her in the Double Soul.

-Anna- Yeah, I already discarded that.
-I can't quite put what I think might have happened into words.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Whatever she's doing, she isn't Rhythm. I didn't sense Rhythm's presence at all.

-Anna- Yeah, I don't think it's her. Something having to do with her, certainly--but White is not Rhythm.

<Snipped quote by Host>

Genos: What if Rhythm changed herself because she is a "god" now? Would it be possible?

I don't think she would have. Rhythm was in contact with White, remember.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

But she's a living being. I don't know what she could be doing?

She could have taken some elements of Rhythm.
-Anna- Perhaps that program had something to do with Rhythm's skills.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Alright.
*Pulls up a holographic screen and begins to input data*
She's calling me a cheater for getting such a high score so quickly... semicolon three--she's joking.
*The screen lights up in accordance to the data flow*
How is she responding so quickly?

Transmission of text directly from a program-like mind to a chat?
-Anna- She could be doing the same thing as you are.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

It is.
1. All murder, war, and robbery is forbidden in this world.
2. All conflict in this world will be resolved through games.
3. In games, each player will bet something that they agree is of equal value.
4. As long as it doesn't violate pledge three, anything may be bet, and any game may be played.
5. The challenged party has the right to decide the rules of the game.
6. Any bets made in accordance with the pledges must be upheld.
7. Conflicts between groups will be conducted by designated representatives with absolute authority.
8. Being caught cheating during a game is grounds for an instant loss.
9. In the name of god, the previous rules may never be changed.
10. Let's all have fun and play together!

Hmm... I feel like there's a way to cheat in such a way that we'll get her attention, but I can't quite put my finger on it. But either way, we should try the chat first--if we spend all of our time discussing these secondary plans and the chat works, we'll have wasted our time.
<Snipped quote by Dynamics>

*Gets up and swings hard at his arm, lodging the blade three quarters of the way into it. He yells loudly, and just as he lets go of you to swing his arm at me, I pull the blade out of his arm and let him swing his hand into the blade, which cuts his fingers off. He yells again as I quickly lodge the sword in his neck, again unable to cut clean through. I pull the blade out of his neck, satisfied with the job done and exhaling deeply. Blood pours from his neck onto the ground*

-Ruby- Hmm... I should have made a field. But great job! Sorry I couldn't help more.
