After the party, I went to bed immediately so I could wake up at 5:30 AM and barely get to church in time to practise for worship, which I did. I made a few egregious mistakes, but the riffs I did were cool and it was ultimately for God, not for me, so it was all in all a good time. Also, a friend of mine sang up on stage for the first time and his harmony + singing skills were amazing.

Today I'm going to a party for someone's 50th birthday. This particular person was a good family friend of ours for many years, apparently, but I was too young to remember and we haven't seen them for probably almost a decade, judging by my memories. this is going to be interesting
