Yeah, I meant IC. At least for the moment. Right after I returned about a week ago, we then had a week filled woth travelling, father's day, my dad's birthday, and family reunion shenanigans, along with taking my brother to camp for a week. I plan to finally get back into the IC tonight, but I'll be abandoning what we were doing before.

it seems we have all been on vacation
Oh, did you know I'm in my church's internship? It's a heavy discipleship-type thing + we do facilities work for the church.

Sorry, got food.

Same.

I played checkers a couple more times, and my friend Nick beat me again, but I learned from my mistakes again and very nearly beat him if we hadn't both made so many stupid mistakes. We also got to play Communist Mao with a bunch of new people, and it was hilarious, but really satisfying when a few of them actually ended up learning the game. I played Speed for five days as well and got really good at it. We tried playing Mafia on the beach, but my cards started getting wet, which was worrying, so we decided not to.

Though the temperature doesn't impact the likelihood of getting a sunburn.

This is true. But there was an awful lot of sun. However, there was also an awful lot of sunscreen.

Oh, Arizona. That's why.

mmmmmhmmmm
On the water, it was fine, except the wind was really hot. But, surprisingly, I didn't get sunburned at all. On the rafts (I rafted the whole time rather than do anything else because two years ago when I went to Havasu I only enjoyed rafting) the mist caused by the speed made the wind cooler.

Are you sure about the 120? That's unsafe levels of heat; it doesn't even get that hot here.

Yup. 18 June: 116. 19: 120. 20: 121. 21: 119. 22: 114. We picked the worst possible week.

Hi.

hello I see you understand
so I went to Lake Havasu which was a lake
Remember when I wrote that whole description piece on Lake Havasu? Turns out it was wrong on several counts. What it was not wrong about was the heat; it was upwards of 120 degrees Fahrenheit half the day. Thankfully, on the water it was cooler and we were in air conditioned suites. so instead of playing athletic games like volleyball and such we just played cards whenever we weren't in the water
or even if we were at the beach
so like I said I went to Lake Havasu
i will tell you one story at a time and you will comment if you will
if you will not
you will not
david will also tell you all about his trip to san antonio
do you understand
bed, ned
guess who's back
back again
jonan's back
tell a friend

but I won't be on the IC tonight because I'm busy furiously journalling; I'll tell you stories soon
