<Snipped quote by Techspert>

It's not fair to leave that to you two.

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

There aren't many other variations to that prediction, I feel. I don't see it going so differently from that.

I assure you, we will be fine.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

I don't feel that anyone deserves to be killed without knowing death approaches... But anything he does once wakes is also on our hands, hm?...

If he wakes, we die, and he wreaks havoc on the world for years to come, it is all on our hands.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

I could never in my life justify killing a helpless man in the way we may. No matter who they are.

I understand. I believe that if the death penalty is necessary, necessary it is, however the sentence is delivered. He'll pay properly for his crimes.

<Snipped quote by Techspert>

*Gives a look of extreme hesitation*
The risk is too great. You are right.
*Points at him*

If you'd rather not be the one to kill him, we can.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

If we had the time, I could take you around this place and read you stories of the kind of people Castorr and those like him were when Nemid was here before.

In a court would you believe these things ample justification for the death penalty?
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Is that worth the risk? We think we can do these things, but will they work here?

Is there a block here against that? If so, then I know of no other method to incarcerate him and prevent the use of his powers. We may as well kill him.

<Snipped quote by Valiance>

There are beings that can be fought in a manner that shows honor on the parts of everyone involved. This isn't one of them. We have to end this while we still have a chance.

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

To use, directly? He hasn't done anything to us.

According to Rythian, he has committed great evil.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

I... I don't think we should spare him. I think we should end it once and for all.

Okay, what evil has he done that suggests that we should? Note, I believe that if he dies here, on account of us, he has already wasted all his chances for redemption anyway.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

I'm not familiar firsthand of Nemid's capabilities, but if the stories I've read are true, then he's a different beast entirely. You will never know whether he's lying, now will you ever likely get what he really wants out of his mouth. But, when he does something, his actions are absolute. So, in the end, I have know way to give you a definite answer, but it's a safe bet at the very least that Castor will be an unstoppable force of nature when he wakes up, in some way or another.

Could we not block the mental faculties that allow him to use his powers? Restrict him from thinking about doing anything that a normal, unpowered being couldn't do? As I said, we do have someone for that.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

*Starts to speak, but stops*
I...

I wasn't necessarily implying you--though can you do such a thing?
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

... Tch.
*Looks down*
I know what Nemid said... Every fiber of my being feels terrible about the notion of killing someone like this.

Honestly, if he's evil, I don't mind, though chances for redemption are good. Do we necessarily need to kill him or can we otherwise incarcerate or incapacitate him? Can we block his powers? Eliminates his means of using them? If it's mental we know someone who can create a mental block in him that is fixed to reality.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

He's in total meditation over an element, it seems. I do the same thing when I learn a new one. But the one he is focused on isn't one I am familiar with...

<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Complete meditation of an element. It may seem like a ploy, but speaking from experience, he's not aware that we're here.

Can we stop him before he finishes learning it?
