That's... unfamiliar. How can you change color without changing intrinsic physical properties such as reflected wavelength?

That's the cool thing! Colour is an expression of a bunch of other physical properties about the duck. When I reach out and "push" the colour in this particular layer, all the transformations really involved in that are simplified to the touch of a finger!

How do they work?

You can consider them kind of like another spatial dimension. They're an intrinsic aspect of everything in Existence. If you can move left and right and see a different perspective of a rubber duck, then you can move layer by layer and see even more different perspectives of the rubber duck. All the 3D perspectives visualise the same unchanged duck; same for layer perspectives. From one dimensional perspective, you can reach out and push the head of the duck, but from another perspective, you might only be able to touch the tail. From one layer's perspective you can reach out and squeeze the duck, but from another perspective, you can reach out and push the colour of its bill onto its body!

*Shakes my head*

So imagine you read a nice description of, say, your favourite lake. Okay, and then you read a really basic description that just says what the lake is and the stuff around it. And then you read a really complex and flowery description! Complexity layers are like different ways of seeing and interacting with reality with different levels of complexity. How about that? A little closer?

Could you go into more detail on Pages?

Sure! The super scientific name is complexity layers, but only one other person can interact directly with them right now so I have liberty! Does that name shed a little more light?

I'm an engineer by trade, but I also study various subjects.

That's cool! I study tea and Pages!

*Nods*
Various tests are running continuously. Ending would signify completion.

Oh, that makes sense! Yeah, I'm sure that would be great. Singularity, what did slash will you do science about in the future?
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

I hope that my former answer was within reason.

I agree!

<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

For various tests of mine to hault.

Halt?
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

I would choose to fix the world.

That's the spirit! Okay, new question: within reason, what do you guys want? Data? Singularity?
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Yes, but I doubt I can ask them.

If you could have anything happen, regardless of whether it could feasibly happen or not, what would you choose? That's what we were talking about! Then we segued into tea.
