Eve looked at Tarquin, "Do you know what that thing is?" Looking at the corpse gave her the creeps and it made her shiver slightly. She had never seen something like that before. Eve looked at where it had come from and shivered again. "It is really quite scary in here. We need to move faster, it's going to be dark soon." She looked nervously at the shadowy light coming from the opening.

lmao yeah well I am terrified of snakes but I write Eve a little braver about them than I am. :) I once stopped breathing when a friend put a snake on the ground 15 feet from me.(it was a python too, not a little snake)

"I checked a couple streets over in the ritzy subdivision the last few days. I made out too. There is more so we need to go back." She dumped out her knapsack and there were snacks, toothpaste a 6-pack of new toothbrushes, Beef sticks and other assorted food, Listerine, Oxycontin, Ibuprofen, Aspirin, cough medicine and other misc.
"I went through 5 of the houses and put things in boxes and bags. Problem is we need either a lot of people to carry it back or we need wheels. There were some cars there too but I didn't know how to get the car through the gate without bringing in the dead and you not knowing what I was doing."
Nikki grinned, "Not too shabby if I do say so myself."

Valyna Valance
Valyna went about her life as usual. She hired a new accountant and put her soulmate of half a day behind her. She changed her attitude on life and just decided that she wasn't going to let it bother her one bit. If they were truly meant to be then something would happen to prove it. She certainly wasn't going to allow her heart to be played with by fate any longer. She only wore long sleeves these days. She didn't want to see the name and date when the new one showed up.
She was going to change a few things in her life and enjoy herself. She started throwing parties and getting very drunk. Her maid and butler asked for raises from all of the excess cleaning up they had to do. Valyna started dance lessons and she bought a horse and started riding regularly. She went to dances and for business dates she would take a co worker or her friend Derek when he was in town. She still felt the need to have someone to love and take care of so she started volunteering at the animal shelter. Valyna also started working with kids. When she met a kid sho had leukemia she started setting up trips for them and thier families. Why not? she thought. She had more money than she would ever spend on herself.
She did need another sportscar since her Ferrari was totalled. So she went out and bought a New Corvette Stingray.

What time zone is everyone in? I'm in CST (Central) Alabama.
Eve walked over to Tarquin and very carefully removed the dead snake holding it right behind it's head to make sure it's venom is held in place. She had an idea and pulled a small jar out of her bag and milked the venom into it. "Maybe we can use the venom for something in the future." When she was finished she handed the snake to the constable.
Eve watched as the snake twisted around Tarquin's arm and She hoped it's teeth didn't tear his flesh as even dying it could still poison him if they did. She stood at the ready just in case.

Eve stepped up and chanted something and held out her hand and Cedric and Wimena were kind of floated to where they needed to go. "Rockmar! Did it penetrate your skin?" She prayed his answer would be no. Those kind of poisons can be very difficult to cure and thus fatal.
Much better thank you. My brain is trying to function on less than 4 hours of sleep and almost no caffeine. The headache is throbbng but getting easier.
