I don't think that's helping Samebito. Personally, I liked your description of the FTL.Yeah, well, Duck and Samebito doesn't, and that seems to be all that matters.
Rogue tried to make an OP Draconian empire take care of itself, and everyone still hated on him for having the Dracs (Odd since everyone was fine at first). That's a good bit of why he left- not just because it moved to RPG, but because he didn't feel welcome. Why the sudden allowance of an OP badguy enemy when a more realistic, more destructible one was already hated on? Kinda unfair- biased.Umm....everyone, yeah that's it. It wouldn't be bad for everyone. Trust me.Aw, come on, it wouldn't be that bad.For who?
No. If I plot a certain course, then I can open it and they'll just appear too far behind me to do any damage. or, alternatively, right into a minefield, but they'd probably just suck it all upAnd hey, this is a way to keep the Draconians alive against the Aeon Brood. The only way I see that could kill them is a massive antimatter explosion. Anything made of matter that gets too close is turned into energy and consumed; anything made of energy that gets too close is turned into energy and consumed. The Draconians don't have any weapons to combat them. This is like having a crane to pick up the deathmech and dump it far enough away from my people to run away.So you...portal them to death? Or to escape? Another way to solve the Aeon problem is by letting me handle it. I promise everything will turn out fine.
Wilson you are tredding a fine line...And hey, this is a way to keep the Draconians alive against the Aeon Brood. The only way I see that could kill them is a massive antimatter explosion. It's two-way When they create the 'portal' to hyperspace, it appears in front of them, but unlike most people's, it isn't just facing them. When they set coordinates, it's like making a bridge from the spot right in front of them, to wherever they need to go, provided there aren't any trees or rocks (planets and the like) in the way. But they can only get on from that side- if someone were on the exact opposite side, and were facing the Draconian ship when it made the portal, then it would work similarly to this, blue being Draconian, red being whoever. Arrows mean which way you enter their portal; [o] means where you come out. )> or <( are the ships. [o] . . . . )> . . . . -> | <- . . . . <( . . . . [o]Also, the aeon absorb energy and matter, no? See my post's explanation on Drac ftlOkay, vortexes or something? Still not seeing it. Though for the record, the Brood converts matter and energy to their preferred form of mana, which they then consume. A slight but noteworthy difference.
Dragons were always described as having just naturally strong hides, except for their underbelly. Now, being dragon lords, it is entirely possible to say magic could come into play. I'm not saying it's a bad idea you've got. Just that it's a little confusing/tough to keep up with.Think minecraft: Gold shiny and expensive, but not good for using. Iron/Steel strong and durable, but not exactly a sign of wealth.
