No but really- go to a city and you'll find Japanese, Chinese, Hispanic, French, Italian, Indian, all of that. My dad has an Italian buddy at Texas Tech, the majority of smart professors there are Indian, Chinese, or Japanese, and the town I live in is primarily Hispanics, and you can find pretty much anything else in any state. Just search around for a bit.

I like rain. I love rain. If I went there, I would be love it if it were your definition of great, or my definition. Sunsets and all that are pretty here (even though it's all just flat, here Texas, the Great Plains of 'MURICA), but I love rain more.

If someone picks up a sword and rushes everyone else, everyone else is likely to pick up a sword or shield and band together to stop that sword from killing anyone.

If someone has patrols along conflicting borders, one might think the other is preparing to launch a sneak/surprise attack. And, for that matter, conflicting borders might also mean disputes over mineral-rich systems or worlds.

Could there be like relics/ruins'n'stuff so that we could research and fight over them? Places of scientific importance?

So, other nations might take that as an act of war. It's like America and Russia with their nukes! Mutual assured destruction! Large countries(nations) are afraid to fire nukes because of other countries possibly causing equal destruction, while small countries are afraid of pissing off larger ones and inciting a missile to the face~

I tried being diplomatic'n'stuff in one of the other space nation- when I was the Valkians. Kept warning and warning and warning, wouldn't open fire (Since Valkians are defensive, not aggressive), then Duck tried ramming two big ships into me and fled (after shooting two or three different races on another races' homeworld). The threat of making a diplomatic incident wasn't worth much.

Hey KeyGuy, can we have more politics in this one? I want to maneuver allies (or for-the-moment-while-you're-useful allies) to kill my enemies, not actually have to fight the battles. Economic power has about as much significance as, oooh, who was it, the IDR in one of the first three originals? "WE HAVE THE MOST MONEY!"
