Well, I have a vague idea that i'm kinda going with.

As for the question, lemme rephrase:
I put TACP and Pointman together because they both really kinda get things DONE. He's not taking his time being a marksman, he's not ducking into cover and then tossing a grenade through the right hole, and he's not making sure everyone got their ammo- no, he's over here shoving through doors and filling all the bad guys with lead, and then sneaking up to a window and designating the target to be blown to bits.

oh ffs. My character'll handle it infinitely better than me, you'll see. I can be quite clever, if I'm pretending to be talking from one of my characters and not from me ^^

As for TACP/Pointman, well, part of the inspiration is, now that i've reflected on it, the role of the player in a game- which is practically anything and everything. That, and the fact that Rainer is a very... 'special' individual. He's a guy that's learned everything, but is particularly good at reacting to situations- whether it be holy-shit-a-friggin-tank or a holy-shit-a-friggin-knife-to-my-face. Give him time to think and his effectiveness will slow, actually. And he learns very quickly- if fighting somebody, it's difficult to use the same move twice with it being as or nearly as effective the second time as it was the first. Mirror cells- monkey see monkey do, so to speak, he can copy something he sees someone else do rather effectively, or switch... not personalities, but he can switch demeanor and the like to the situation. Loose and flexible.

That being said, he's also a pyro, and so watching big things go up in flames is awesome.

Mind you, I'm just rambling right now.

I can handle the crap, I just...
I get uncomfortable. Ain't had no real friends or nothin, just online interaction is all, really.
The only place I get mad at anymore is whenever I have a crappy day with my online gaming when the internet's gone sour or nothing's going my way. I can handle curses and gore and such. Hell, I find Dead Space 1 and 2 to be fun, despite the scariness and the fact that half the surfaces are covered in body parts and blood.

Still can't watch horror movies tho >.>

Also, we have a captain and lieutenant in the group too, and they'll be going into the fire as well. Dunno how your being a warrant officer makes a difference in where you should be as opposed to a sergeant, otherwise why on earth did you put his first role as point man?. Now, TACP role yes, but being a warrant officer wouldn't make that much of a difference.

Still don't know what TACP stands for, and my internet's been down/been too lazy to look it up.
Presumably has to do with my calling in for support role and such.

also, roles DO differ for every operation. Your character could take the Pointman role while mine drops back and acts as Marksman. I interpret that as sort of a swingman sorta thing, you feel? I'd like to think the ACR loadout would be the pointman loadout.

And that makes some sense, except you're the best shot on our team. Regardless, I don't think we want our best shot at the most risk. Granted, the same could be the said for my rather higher ranked, more expensive and tactically valuable person.

It's been three years since shit hit the fan. We're not one hundred percent sure of what happened. Alright, everyone!
I have some... questions?! or something to bring up
A) Why don't we have interchangable ammo? I mean, I'm gonna change my HK417 to the HK416, so that if I go down, or if someone else goes down, I can use their ammo.

B) Why is our only Marksmen- our best shot, the person who's usually at the BACK of the squad- also a Pointman, especially without any real pointman-kit?

C) Not to sound Hunger-Games-y or nothin', but what if military technology companies decided to dip a hand into the unit- perhaps being some of the people pushing for this specific anti-terrorist squad- and rig up one of us for propoganda purposes? I mean, they get exclusive footage of an international team from all over working together as a unit, likely with some cutting-edge stuff thrown in the mix- especially with my character. The military wouldn't have to pay the shitton for my character's headset, because it's being used to get Lockheed Martin some gold, which they can use to demonstrate to buyers, and generate popularity and sell stocks or somesuch. The US Military would be fine with it because they don't gotta pay; the UN'd be fine with it because the anti-terrorist unit don't cost so much, or actually GENERATES some money for them.

Or something. Just the general idea is what I'm saying, and i'm tossing it in here to see any reactions.
