@TheHangedMan I was wondering the same as @The ghost in black with the golem.
"Understood Damian, ETA five to ten minutes. Don't start the party without us!" Krystoff had just been getting an espresso and chugged the scalding beverage. He'd been in a lot more pain if he wasn't properly caffeinated. He was glad he'd packed heavy for this hunt, including holy water grenades. They would come in handy for such a large group.

Pocketing his bluetooth, Krystoff slammed on his helmet and started up his motorcycle. It purred like a happy big cat, making the young man smile briefly. The satisfaction was short-lived as his mind went back to the task at hand. Revving the throttle a time or two, he released his brakes and was soon weaving between downtown traffic. He'd been waiting near the river for Damian's or Dimitri's call for backup, having already swept his usual hunting grounds.

Krystoff gave Alexi a cocky wave as he overtook her on the city streets. He could spot that suped-up Subaru from a mile away and hear it even better. The race was on! Krystoff activated the comms, not having heard everyone respond. "Has anyone heard from Jack? He went on a solo-hunt a couple hours ago and hasn't checked in!"
The list of schools being toured are in, but may be subject to change ^-^
Ireland, Chile, Beijing, Italy, Arizona, Egypt, Polynesia, Caribbean, Germany, Russia, South Korea, and Japan!

Now I'd just like to get a roll call from all interested so we know the minimum amount of students going on the tour! That way we know to include more schools or raise the cap of students per school. Thanks a bunch! =)
Alright, then I can't wait to see your character in action! ^_^ And yes, Hogwarts will be included in the list of schools sending representatives.
@M00N Just try not to make your character magically infallible, it sounds like you want to make a super wizard here lol Remember, these are going to be basically kids like the HP crew was, so there wouldn't have been as much time as would be necessary to learn all of the subjects you want your character to be versed in. Hermione herself needed a TimeTurner to keep up with her course studies and she is possibly the brightest witch of the age! Secondly, our characters will be traveling to each of these school anyway, where you'll get the chance to learn their advanced courses when not trying to save the wizarding world
Magic has been all over the world in various types of folklore. The fey of the Gaelic, the spirituality of the Chinese and Japanese, South America's Incas and Aztecs, the golem of Judaism, the shamans of Native Americans. Of which I personally think is one of the oldest, considering they crossed over to the continent via the old ice bridge that eventually collapsed due to continental drift and such.

There all sorts of ways that each of these schools could be top in their respective fields. Egyptians, though known for their curses on the pharaohs' tombs, are more known for their huge advances in medicine, crafts, and time keeping at the time.

As for curses, there are defensive spells and offensive spells. Knowing the best defense wouldn't mean knowing the best offense, inherently. =) Say your character knows hexes up the wazoo, but barely has an any defensive knowledge other than a basic protego, he/she could be easily overwhelmed by a spell that doesn't directly affect the user, but possibly the area around the target, like Transfiguration.
Name: Krystoff Blackwell

Age: 17

Appearance:

Short bio: Krystoff lived in the New York State until his family was ravaged by a group of isolated werewolves. The only reason he survived is because of his father's quick thinking having bathed his son in the blood of their hounds to disguise his scent. In their rural community, superstition was very prevalent and Krystoff grew up with these beliefs as facts, unlike many big city children. After days of trekking through the woods, he stumbled upon his only other neighbor few miles. They promptly called the authorities and Krystoff ended up in the system and eventually the Blackwell house.

Weapons: Remingtion hunting rifle, MP5- black matte, a brace of silver throwing knives, a brace of wooden stakes.

Slayer Weapon: The Devil's Fang- supposedly ripped from the mouth of the Lord of Hell, Krystoff found the blade on one of the Blackwell's raids. It bonded to him and his thirst for vengeance. It cannot be destroyed by none other than its original owner. These details have been lost over time.

Vehicle: Kawasaki Ninja H2

@Drakeonis should we be moving our CS's over to the character section?
These are my favorites: Arizona, Italy, Chile, Argentine, Polynesia, Germany, Maldives, Russia, Egypt, Australia, Japan, Beijing, and the Lousiana school.

And these are @PhunkyPhoebe's: Italy, Japan, Arizona, Egypt, Greece, Beijing, Chile, Mexico, South Korea, and Amsterdam, and Ireland.

Still waiting to hear @dee's favorites =)
@Eklispe I wanted to do the same, but we only have 25gp at start and only level 1 difficulty spells in each spell category at start. I wanted Soul Trap pretty badly for my Mage.

Yea, it was either talent you needed to buy in order to get to it. =)
