Bio

Hey there, I'm Wolvena!
So, after being away from the roleplay world for a while, I'm ready to jump back in. I don't do many 1 on 1's because I tend to struggle to keep it going after a little bit. I normally go with group rps on the smaller side, just because I tend to get a bit lost in larger ones. My go-to genres are animal(mostly wolves), anime, sci-fi, and fantasy, though I'm always up to give something new a try.

Esme Stirling

Esme tried not to stare at Dean as he answered her. She almost sighed heavily at his words as she listened. His words falling on her heavily. She knew he wanted to make sure she was safe. She could feel it. Back when they were together, he always wanted to keep her safe and out of harms way. But how would he keep things from becoming strained? It seemed like a lot for him to put on his shoulders to her. And he was also right. She wanted to stay and not go it alone anymore. It was becoming too hard to keep going on her own, especially when others didn’t quite understand her and dodged her like a plague.

When he leaned in close, she almost pulled away from him, but listened anyway. He was right yet again. She did want to figure out where they should stand. “Alright.” she whispered back, feeling she couldn’t get out of it. He had done it to her once again, making it where she couldn’t say no to him even if she knew it would probably be the better idea. She also understood why he had whispered that part to her, he didn’t want the other two women to overhear and have Mika react. Her attention moved from Dean to Mika as she spoke up then back to Dean as he whispered.

“That would be playing with fire.” she said in a soft whisper. Esme then looked back to Mika and Natalia and gave a nod to Dean’s question. “I need a drink as well.” She walked back up to her car and grabbed the journal off the hood of it, then looked back at Mika with a small smile. “Thank you for your offer.” Her tone was soft as she spoke, she then walked around to the passenger side of her car and opened the door, then opened the glove box and put the journal back in it. She closed it and the car door and locked the car doors.

The ride to the bar was uncomfortably silent and gave her too much time to think over things. When they arrived, she quickly exited the car and looked around. The place was packed, but that didn’t really bother her since it would make talking harder. She just wanted to get a few drinks in her, play some pool, and maybe a few rounds of darts. She closed the car door and stepped away from the car ready to head inside and drown everything that had gone on the past couple of days.

Esme was so engrossed in the journal and determined to find answers, she didn’t hear Natalia’s feet on the gravel and walking towards her car. As she continued to flip through the pages, she ran a hand through her hair in frustration yet again. It was looking as if her parents had never dealt with anything like this before or even heard of it ever happening. She closed her eyes briefly to collect herself. Her emotions were still high, and it was easy for her to lose herself in them. When she opened her eyes, she went back to scanning the pages within the journal, mostly to keep her mind occupied at that moment.

She couldn’t let her mind dwell on Dean singing to her and how he had sung to her. She couldn’t let her mind dwell on how the song had brought out the Dean she had known those years ago or let her mind travel down memory lane. If she let herself do that, it would be all the harder for her to stay as he had asked her to. She already felt like the odd one out and she knew Mika didn’t care for her being around. She could feel it whenever she was near. She couldn’t blame her, though. Mika and Dean had a strong relationship. She had just gotten him back from Hell and now she had another woman drop in from nowhere that knew Dean.

Esme would feel the same if she were in Mika’s shoes. Yes, she still had feelings for him. They hadn’t changed since the day she had left, but she had no plans to steal him from Mika. She wasn’t that type of person and she couldn’t do that to them. She still questioned herself about why she was still here, even though she knew the answer. She never could say no when he looked at her with his pleading eyes. It was one of her weaknesses with him. Dean’s voice pulled Esme from the journal, causing her to exhale from her nose. Closing the journal, she laid it on her lap and slightly squeezed it as she looked down at it as he spoke.

She was almost afraid to look at him because of emotions being so heightened, but she did when he mentioned going with her to get a hotel if she needed him or going to the bar with him, Mika, and Natalia. Esme watched Dean as he stood there, noticing his hand shiver at the effort to keep from touching her. She sighed heavily and looked down at the journal, squeezing it harder, causing her knuckles to go white as she thought about what he asked. She flinched slightly when he placed his hand on her knee, fearing his touch would cause another song to start, but relaxed a little when things remained silent.

“I…. I don’t know, Dean.” she mumbled, looking at his hand on her knee. She wanted to place her own hand on his, but forced herself not to. “I mean……” she sighed, closing her eyes tight. “With everything that's gone the past couple of days I could really use a drink.” She shook her head to rid her mind of the thoughts trying to creep in, then opened her eyes and looked at him. “But I don’t want to……” Sighing again she looked away from him and back down at the journal. “To be the cause for trouble. I know being here is causing stress and I’m sorry for that.” Esme looked up and out across the junkyard.

“I never expected to find myself here after hearing about your….” she couldn’t say the last word, it was too painful. It was gut wrenching when she first heard about it. Setting the journal on the hood, then slid off the hood and took a few steps before turning around to face Dean. She tried to make her face and eyes unreadable, but she knew he'd see through it like he used to and see how hard this was for her. He could always read her no matter how hard she tried to hide it. “I’ll stay if you really want me to, but…… If things become strained I…… Won’t be able to.” She wanted to see this through, to figure out what was causing them to randomly sing and stop it, but she still felt obligated to leave.

After Cason left and went back to the porch, Esme climbed back onto the hood of her car and laid back staring up at the stars above. She breathed in the cool night air as she tried to get her mind to clear. As she laid there, she thought about what had gone on during the day, but mostly about all the singing going on. She was still trying to figure out what could get a group of people to sing to each other and express deeply hidden feelings. Frustration soon took over her. She ran her hands through her hair, then down her face. She sat up and slid off the hood of her car and walked to the trunk.

Pulling her keys from her pocket, she unlocked it and opened it. Moving things around, she lifted the piece that hid all her weapons from view, then pulled her gun from her pants. She held it out in front of her in the palm of her right hand, then brushed the wolf carved on it with her left, sighing heavily. She then released the clip and reloaded it. She still hadn’t done that from when they were overrun with the demons. When she had finished, she tucked her gun back into the back of her pants and pulled her shirt down over it. Closing the trunk, she walked around the car to the passenger side door and opened it.

She then opened the glove box and pulled out a journal. Closing the glove box and the car door, she went back and sat on the hood of her car. Esme looked down at the journal, squeezing it as she closed her eyes with a heavy sigh. She hadn’t pulled it out and looked at it in a long time. Opening her eyes, she opened the journal and scanned the pages to see if she could find anything that would help them out of this situation. She hoped her parents' journal would describe a case that was similar to what they were going through, whether they had experienced it or knew someone that had.

“Vampires. Werewolves. Skinwalkers. Hellhounds. Demons. Shapeshifters. Changelings. Wendigos.” she read the names of creatures as she flipped through the pages. “Come on, there has to be something in here that can help.” she mumbled. Esme continued to flip through the pages of the journal, hoping to find at least a little piece of information that would lead them in the right direction.

Esme stopped walking when she felt him respond to his playfulness, then laughed at his quip. She didn’t even have time to turn to face him when he let go of her hand and wrapped his arms around her midsection. A small gasp escaped her when he hoisted her upon his shoulder and slapped her ass, but a smile rested upon her lips. “Not really, but I’m not complaining.” she laughed. She brushed her hair out of her face and watched as he tucked his knife into his pants. “The view is pretty nice.” She then enjoyed the view as he walked out the door with her and to the car.

She couldn’t help but smile warmly as he set her back down and spoke. “Well, I would hope not.” She laughed along with him, then looked over at the elderly couple as they passed by, smiling at them. Esme smiled warmly back at them with a wave, then looked back at Dean, watching his confusion rise at his attitude. “How could they not think that?” she grinned. His confusion was almost too much for her to handle and made her wonder how she could have such an effect on him without trying. It was also amusing to her and kept a constant smile upon her lips.

“Perhaps we remind them of themselves when they were our age.” Esme giggled as she lifted her right hand to his cheek, still taking in his confusion, and stood on her toes as she rubbed her thumb on his cheek. “I have to say, I like this side of you.” She then gently pulled his face to hers and planted a sweet kiss on his lips as she rested her left hand on his chest. She let the kiss linger before pulling back slightly to look at him. “It’s pretty adorable.” she mumbled against his lips and kissed him again. After a moment, she pulled back with a content sigh and leaned against the car with a smile on her lips again.

She knew that if they kept this up, they’d never get out of here, and her stomach agreed as it growled. She placed a hand on her stomach to quiet it with a laugh. “So, where is this place we’re going?” she asked, looking up at him as she pulled her keys from her pocket.

Sam Winchester

Sam watched as Madison pulled away from her exercises and jumped into his arms. He wrapped his arms around her and smiled at her excitement, showing that he was happy for her. He looked over at Castiel as he confirmed he was doing well and asked about Dean and Esme. “They’re fine.” he told Castiel. “They should be here soon. They were going to get something to eat before coming back.” he explained. Knowing Dean, that could take a little bit, especially if he allowed himself to get distracted by Esme. Which he could easily see happening.

From what he could tell from the short time knowing her, she seemed to be his type, and they were alike in ways, not to mention how happy he seemed to be with her. He sighed a bit before looking back down at Madison, giving her a warm smile. “So, while we wait for them to get here. Why don’t you show me the exercises you’ve been doing with Cas.” He was curious to see just how far she had gotten in controlling her powers since he had left the safe house to find Dean and Esme. He then let her go so she could let go of him and show him what she had learned from Castiel.

Esme watched Dean after Sam left. She could see the change in him from yesterday as if it was night and day. He seemed like a completely different person, but she wasn’t complaining. She had to admit; she liked this side of him. She also noticed that when she smiled, it influenced him, bringing him into a better mood, which put her in a good mood as well. When he leaned in, she thought he was going to kiss her, not take her bottom lip between his teeth with a smile and snarled nose. At his playful growl, her eyebrows went up in surprise with a look that said ‘did you just growl at me?’ that turned into a warm laugh when he released her lip.

“Maybe not.” she started with a laugh. “That might be because I didn’t drink as much as you.” When he kissed her, she kissed him back and gave his hand a little squeeze when he took hers and interlocked her fingers with his. At his question, she took a last look around the room to make sure they weren’t forgetting anything. “I think we have everything. Unless you want to grab me and carry me out.” she said with a playful grin. She then slowly headed for the door, the grin still resting on her lips.

Sam Winchester

Sam had taken his time getting back to the safe house. He knew Castiel had everything under control and if he needed anything, he would have gotten in touch with him. He just needed some extra time away to clear his head and think about things. Mostly about the way Dean was acting around Esme. Dean acted unlike himself while he was there with them in the motel room. Sam couldn’t quite put his finger on what it was about her that made Dean act in such a way. She seemed nice enough, but he was afraid that she was going to be too big of a distraction for Dean.

He shook the thoughts from his mind as he pulled in and parked. He got out and locked the doors, then made his way inside. When he got inside, he just barely caught the tail end of whatever Madison and Castiel were talking about. He hung back, watching the two work on the exercises Castiel had been teaching Madison. After a moment, he walked over to where they were and stood where he could see them both. “How are the exercises going? Have you made any progress?” he asked Madison.

Esme continued to try and calm herself from the whole situation. She ran her hands through her hair with a sigh, then wiped away the few extra tears that escaped her eyes. Everything that happened rolled around in her mind. The way he sang, the way he held her close(even if it was out of his control), and the way he begged her to stay. She was then pulled from her thoughts and cringed when she heard someone walking across gravel as the song ended and another started. She had a feeling she knew who it was even before they made it to the car. She sighed heavily as it became clear she was right.

She could feel how careful he was being as he sat on the hood of her car and laid down beside her. She kept her eyes closed and her face pointed at the sky as he looked at her, feeling the questions burning within him. “Cason, I need some…..” the music getting louder cut her off. Her eyes popped open and dread captured her. She looked over and saw Cason’s eyes were saucers. “Oh hellfire!...... Not you too!” she exclaimed as he began singing. Esme sat up and scooted herself away from him, her eyes turning to saucers at the words he was singing. She pushed herself to the edge of the hood, not noticing Sarah and Violet until Sarah began barking.

She watched the two hounds run up to the car and Sarah grab Cason by the leg and pull him. She looked back at him, seeing him trying to fight against the singing, but failing. When he placed his hand on the hood, she pushed herself away more, almost tumbling off the hood of the car. Her gaze went back to Sarah as she pulled him off the car, and yet Cason continued to sing to her and reached for her. “Just make it stop.” Esme mumbled, stepping back a bit. She then watched as the two hounds pinned Cason to the ground, and Sarah laid over his face, smothering Cason’s words.

Esme couldn’t stop the heavy sigh of relief that escaped her when the music suddenly stopped. Esme stepped back up to her car, placed her hands on the hood and leaned into them and hung her head. “This is getting ridiculous.” she mumbled. She got lost in thought as the two hounds finally let Cason to his feet. “What in the world can control a group of people's actions like this?” she mumbled. At Cason’s words and scrambling to his feet, she straightened back up and turned to lean against the car. “I wish I could.” she sighed as she crossed her arm across her chest.

Esme cut her eyes to the side when she heard the crunch of gravel. A small smile came to her lips as she saw Sarah and Violet not that far away, the image of them pulling Cason to the ground and laying on him coming back to her mind. “Thanks, girls. That was quick thinking.” She sighed again and hung her head, closing her eyes trying to think of what could do this to everyone. It was all just too bizarre and she was dreading that it would soon happen to her.

Esme continued to look at their hands as she waited for his answer. All this was far too familiar, and it was making things all the harder on her, especially when she could feel his emotions. When he wiped away her tears one by one, she looked up at him and watched his face. Her eyes lightly closed when he leaned in, placed his hand on the back of her neck, and pressed his lips against her forehead and gave a shuddered sigh. At his words, she opened her eyes as he pulled back to look into her eyes. As he gazed into her eyes, she gazed into his eyes and read the look he was giving her.

She could see the message he was trying to convey to her. Her gaze softened, showing that she understood his message. When his eyes sank into a pleading look, she had to drop her gaze back to their hands as his hand dropped, going along her collarbone, down her arm and to her hand. His words hit her like a kick in the gut and a knife in the heart, and it caused her to close her eyes briefly as more emotions swept over her and she could only nod that she would stay and not run. At his excuse, she gave a sad smile, as she knew the excuse well. After all this time, he still worked out his emotions in the way she had shown him.

This time, he needed his space to work things out. At Cason’s sudden appearance and words, she tensed up and gave a jump, but she didn’t look over at him. She kept her gaze on Dean. At Dean’s words, she nodded. “Alright. I’ll see you there.” she whispered back. She let her hands drop to her sides when he let them go and watched him walk away to the garage. She turned and looked at her car. The thought of leaving was still on her mind, but she didn’t walk towards it. She had told Dean she’d stay and she couldn’t go back on that. Esme looked away from her car and looked out over the junkyard, catching Cason still on the porch out of the corner of her eye.

She didn’t want to be around anyone at the moment. She needed to be alone for a little while, and she hoped Cason would allow her some time to herself. She then walked to her car and sat on the hood. She dared not get inside it for fear of fighting the action to leave again. She then pushed herself further up on the hood and laid across it and closed her eyes. She breathed in the cool air slowly. After a moment, she heard faint music playing in the distance. Whatever was affecting everyone had struck again. She placed her hands on her face, breathed deeply, and tried to block it all out. “What the hell is going on with this day?” she whispered into her hands.

Esme gasped as Dean grabbed her hands and pulled her back to him. Her heart pounded in her chest at the closeness and as she looked up into his face. She couldn’t understand what had gotten into him. He was with Mika and here he was acting like he used to when they were together. It was something she truly missed about him, but could see that part of him had faded over the years. Seeing him like this was killing her and reminding her of how things used to be that wouldn’t be again. It was all she could do to hold her emotions in check and not give into them.

She once again tried to pull away, but he leaned in close to her face and pulled her to him as he continued to sing to her. As he sang sweetly, she could feel herself cracking as he sang about his feelings. Her shocked eyes were now tearing up from the multiple emotions building up, and it was becoming hard for her to breathe. The more he sang and the closer he brought her to him, the harder it was getting for her not to lose her control of her tears. “Dean.” she choked out. “You need to snap out of it.” Esme watched him as his eyebrows raised and brought her hands to his chest.

When he leaned in, she pulled back from him, wishing he’d stop. She looked away from him, trying to focus on anything but him with the way he was acting at that moment. She couldn’t stop him from spinning her and pulling her to his chest as he continued to sing. She could only look up at him with her tear-filled eyes, wondering if this was all just some way of getting back at her for leaving the way she did. When Dean leaned in close, his lips almost touching hers, her breath caught sharply and her heart felt as if it stopped. When the music faded and the song ended, she watched as Dean snapped out of his trance and pulled his face back with wide eyes.

At his apology, she dropped her eyes to his hands, still holding hers. She let out the breath she was holding and closed her eyes tight, causing the tears she had been holding back to slide down her cheeks. “I know you were.” she whispered back shakily as she opened her eyes. “Alright…… But is it really wise for me to stay?”
Esme Stirling

Esme flinched and jumped slightly at Dean’s voice coming from the porch, but she didn’t stop or turn around. She hadn’t expected him to come after her after realizing she had slipped away. If anyone, she thought, it would have been Cason running after her to stop her from leaving. She could hear his steps getting closer and she tried to pick up her pace, but he caught up with her and grabbed her arm. She closed her eyes before he turned her around to face him, trying to keep her emotions in check. As he spoke, she opened her eyes and looked into his before diverting them slightly.

“That’s not…..” the sudden soft melody playing cut her off. She saw his narrowed eyes, and she looked around for where the music was coming from. It seemed to be all around them with no source. It made little sense. Esme’s eyes snapped back to Dean as he began to sing softly to her as he picked up her hand. Her eyes went wide in confusion as she listened to the words he sang to her. She watched as he looked at the sky after singing about the stars, then back down at her. Her heart began to race as he placed his hand on her cheek and ran his thumb along her face and to her jaw.

“Dean? What’s going on with you?” she questioned as he sang. She brought her hands up to put a bit of distance between them. If this was any other time, she would have enjoyed it, but he was with Mika. She couldn’t help but pray that Mika wasn’t witnessing this from the house. If she was, she knew Mika would want to kill her slowly for this.
Esme Stirling

Esme’s eyes never left Dean’s face, even when he turned his hand over and held her arm. Her face relaxed a bit when he answered her and saw him subtly check her over for injuries. She was about to answer him when he pulled her up and close to his side. It took a little by surprise. She just thought he’d help her up, and that was it, but he pulled her close and continued to hold her arm. She looked away from Dean and looked at Sam as well when he came up the stairs; she felt him look down at her before he squeezed her arm and let go. As she stood there, she sighed heavily, thinking this was another reason she shouldn’t stay.

The feelings she had for Dean back then hadn’t faded as much as she had thought. At Sam’s voice, she nodded silently as she felt Dean’s hand come to rest on her lower back. She knew what this sign meant. She did, and she didn’t want to step away at that moment. Though she was soon hit by feelings of jealousy, she knew who they were coming from even before looking around the room. Her eyes fell briefly on Mika, taking in her facial features and seeing how her face mimicked what she felt coming from the woman. Esme gently squeezed Dean’s arm, in a way to let him know she was glad he was okay and understood his submission.

Then she slowly stepped away from him, putting a suitable distance between them, for Mika’s sake. She looked to the stairs, hearing Annabeth’s screams, then looked at everyone else in the room. There was a wide variety of emotions flowing through the house, and she was the primary cause for one of those. At that moment, she saw herself as nothing but a cause for trouble between Dean and Mika and possibly the rest of the group. As much as she hated to do it, because she wanted to be around others, she talked herself into sneaking away and leaving without a word.

Sighing quietly to herself, she took in a deep breath, turned away, and snuck out the door while they all talked. “I can’t do this.” she whispered as she stepped off the last step of the porch. Esme almost took off into a run to her car when her feet hit the ground, but she refrained from doing so. Not to mention, she was sure someone would hear if she had. “I have to leave and not cause stress among them.” she whispered as she walked to her car.
