Well, it was, until an apparent blast of blue energy slammed into Leeroy, sending him flying backwards. Near by, stood Tsubaki, who seemed to have a rather...devious plan, as she drags Leeroy away. "Hey, Kilroy...mind taking out the trash?" She asks, as Kilroy, the android, steps out, and appears before the scene of death, and destruction. "I've heard about your goals of destruction. I'm afraid I can't let you do that...." He says, looking at the two juggernauts who had pretty much decimated the team as so far. Walking forwards, he looked to Toguro, and saw him as the lesser threat....before turning to five, and tilting his head. "You're a robotic creature with a soul...no, shards of souls...pity, you're so misguided..." Kilroy says, before dashing forwards, with a plan.
All focus was on Number 5 and/or Tugoro, so it was the perfect opportunity. Undetected as was his trademark, a mist of black began silently coalescing directly behind Tsubake. "Redemption..." A very soft, deep, and dark, electrical voice sounded with him. The cyborg prophet of annihilation manifested in full lethal splendor, blades dawn, and with a satisfying flourish, drove both blades into either side of Tsubaki's ribs. "Is a LIE!" The red lights of the eyes of his skull shaped faceplate lit up with sadistic vigor as his victim fell before him.
Seeing the doubt, the fear...the pain, in his eyes....Well, there wasn't much of a choice for Bug, as his hand began to glow, and he took Mithia's hand in his own, as if for a hand shake... Slowly, this power crept over him, and Mithias felt himself change. His body began to break apart, into something different...A bat? No, two...three.....soon, Mithias's body was just a swarm of bats, flying around a soul, before reforming into himself, abit with larger fangs, a long tongue, and a thirst....A thirst... A thirst for blood. Healed, and empowered, Mithias felt like he could level armies, and crush metal armor in his hands....a newly created nature spirit, the first one in centuries....now, ready, for war.
Large, cute, black eyes, with a more bat-like face and long ears looked up at Bug in gratitude before bursting into a swarm of bats and spiraling up into the night air. The bloodthirsty cloud flew off with the wind, toward the cathedral, to Inquisitor Stein.
Mithias kept the bike steady while Matt climbed on. It wasn't that Matt was slow or clumsy in the least, he was simply human. "I am Mithias." He answered in a soothing voice, in essence agreeing to a more casual identification. It was nice to see at least one of the Elite jerk vampires wasn't full of his own ego. Nobody liked or trusted that Rhyss Blackblade asshole. Mithias rejoined traffic with his signal. One might mock him for mimicking a member of the herd, but Mithias had been lawful since his creation. Some thing don't change, I guess. En route, Mithias was quiet and seemed to be concentrating. If he were human, it might have merely been dismissed for concentrating on the road, but he was not human. Nonetheless, once they arrived at the SOLDIER main gate, where James had been standing guard, Mithias removed his helmet and asked over his shoulder, "Did you notice anything out of the ordinary on your patrol... 'Matt?'" The vampire's tone seemed to indicate that he knew something and was looking for Matt to fill in the gaps. The sun was setting, so the dark visor was no longer helpful. As the general was considering his answer, Mithias flashed a look to the vampire guard. The clawed gauntlet, the sword, the lack of armor... Obviously another Elite agent. Mithias nodded toward him in greeting. "Agent Hunter."

You'll ruin the surprise of Bedivere's collection of magical artifacts :I
Oh. Sorry. So what about poisons then? Should we have them work or not? Perhaps they work differently on vampires than they do on humans. That was my plan. Perhaps elders could have more willpower or physical resistance?
Shikaru, Magnus uses poison right? You have to let certain poisons be more effective than others. I actually was planning on using a certain poison later in the game... it would be great for story purposes.
Still waiting for a few people to make intro posts. Shikaru, you should probably start replying as soon as you can.
Star-trecky space one? Really?
^^;;;
I just want to say, this scene with Bug... is really weird.
The sound of the raid was steady, drowning out the crackle of fire ahead of them. The human leaned heavily on the hilt of his weapon, breathing. Then, the strangest, most ironic and painful sound came from him... It was laughter. A roll of thunder echoed from far above. "Everything that has happened... A monster you say? ... Everything I know is wrong, friend. I am a Templar. By God above, I am already a monster." Clearly, his thoughts were a jumble and his emotions extreme. Mithias turned his head aside to meet Bug's gaze, surprising him with his beautiful dark brown eyes. "You, you are above this mortal mayhem. Whatever price you are asking, I agree. I rescind my claim to righteousness. I would give up my life, anything, to save them. I wish to be free from this... to learn truth." Mithias knew what 'terrible sin' his ally was offering, and he did not hesitate. His whole religious life seemed now nothing more than a farce. "If it is within your will, Bug, then I beg for it. Turn me."
