Mithias put it together. "I see. So you're the Director of freelancer, and you're a vampire. Now I understand why they have been driven against the Purge so vehemently. As for your sire, if he managed to survive the mysterious slaying of the oldbloods, then he might have made it to this island. I hope that you do find him, but I am growing very concerned about so many vampires in one small location. I believe Gabriel does have the capacity to protect this place from the rest of the world, but.. I have no idea how he is going to keep that promise, even with his gifts."

Well Slendy, what would your character be doing in a world where a bunch of violent, blood-hungry undead just erupted all across the country? Would he have any history with Hive, freelancer, or Purge? Any vampire contacts? What would he think of Gabriel's message on the telly? How about those shiny paladins over there that are getting closer...?

Mithias beheld the crippled vampire with confusion. "Doctor Leonard Church?" He had no idea who that was, why he was a 'doctor,' or better yet, why a vampire was in a wheelchair pointing at things with a laserpen. "So you believe this outbreak is a terrorist act by some other human organization?" He shook his head and muttered mostly to himself. "I will never understand humans, but hell I will never understand vampires either. It seems like only werewolves ever made any sense. Regardless, Dr. Church. I do not believe we have ever met. I am Mithias Varomere and these are my associates. If you have more information on these outbreaks, then I would like to hear it.

Glad you are back. I liked your character. We just did a cheesy recap a few OC pages ago for some new people. Bascially, Chantelle is hanging out at Gabe's palace. Hank and Mithias wandered down to the local hotel and ran into Adam, Bedivere, Victor, and now the Director just joined us. Gabriel went downstairs where he had a secret recording studio to make his video message for all the world to see. He seems to be inviting all elder vampires to his home in Hawaii to offer protection from the Purge.

Oh, btw, Adam just released all his infected subjects.

@Kurai Assassin, is the Director bullshitting, or is he merely stating what he believes to be true so far? Cuz, as far as I know, the new ghouls are actually Adam's brood.

Oh, and don't forget Hank was there during the first zombie outbreak.

Fallen onto his back, an umbrella-stake to his heart, Mithias gave pause. He had been so angry. He looked toward the red eyes that were strangely framed by white eyebrows above him, and his fury drained away. The holy symbol singed his chest with even light pressure against it, a far cry from the chastisement he deserved. His anger had been a cover, a mask hiding a confession of need and vulnerability which now surfaced. He scoffed mockingly at himself as he accepted his defeat and admitted the truth. "I've missed you, brother."

Explanation would come eventually. Mithias could at least demonstrate some kind of patience. He got up, subdued. He remained quiet for the moment, indulging in the presence of his long lost friend. Adam had just done something very weird, Hank was... hanging out, and Mithias had yet to see Victor. He put away his one weapon and went to recover his over. The sitting area was fucked up to be fair, but the monitor screen was still on, and it actually got Mithias' attention.

"The Hell?" Mithias just realized what he was seeing and what his father was doing. It seemed like odd behavior for such a determined recluse as Gabriel to invite the rest of vampirehood to his home. Maybe the old man had changed? Maybe what Mithias had said so long ago had had an affect on him, or maybe... Gabriel was afraid.

"Bedivere?" Mithias began. Everything was beginning to make sense now why so many vampires were already in Hawaii. "I am sorry. I did not know of my father's plan. I did not realize you would be seeking refuge from whoever has been slaying all the oldbloods across the world. You, and Adam O'Neal, and others are here." He looked around. "Is that why you have come?"

Just then the tv cut to a scene of gore and destruction annotated by a screaming reporter. "Breaking news... The latest vampire invasion... Stay in your homes!"

Mithias couldn't believe it. "What is happening to this world?!"

And i totally missed the scene where Adam hits on Victor.
