(Super short catch-up post because I am working 10 hours a day currently)

Evelyn turned to face Damien and just in time to hear his remark about the late Lord Commander. "The High Templar is dead, along with all the commanders. That does not mean you are free to speak of them without showing some respect. Teagen, please speak with this one..."

But Teagen never did.

Damien's face showed his dissappointment as he learned that the Order was in leaderless disarray. He shut his trap and backed down while this knight-captain dealt with the wayward Templar knights. He had a whirlwind of his own thoughts to deal with.

This was a bloodless disaster. Now more than ever, because of the impending doom from the North, which only HE knew about, the Dawn Covenent HAD to be strong. Having been the only survivor, Damien alone knew what was coming for them. He absolutely had to inform his order and get this kingdom prepared for war.

At least, there was still the King.

Damien was there when Draxis and his squad rode up and promised a meeting the next morning with additional news. It seemed for now these two were the acting heads of the Templars. Damien would be sure to be at that meeting as well.

The next morning, the scene of the crime, before the body of the late king, his mourning daughter, and the two aforementioned templar leaders, a wild necromancer appears.

A strange looking staff in hand, a grey-hooded Templar "mage" of some sort made his way abruptly into the room. "Stand aside. I'm a seer..." Damien said some shit to get by. He stood witness to the scene just as did everyone else, spotting his current commanding officers. "Bloody hell." He cursed softly to himself. A look in his eye conveyed his present thoughts to Evelyn like an open book: this country was beyond fucked.
@Legion-114 super exciting Legion. Sure. You can use my character, but I get kickbacks if you become famous. Lol
@Karolus brings up a good point. 4K is a long time. How inbred is the human species now? I'm sure vampires have been breeding them for the best blood and labor.
Y'all have till monday morning to post. Don't do it in time, too bad. Some of us have been waiting patiently.

And some of us not so patiently. *shakes stick*
You could shoot him. I'll write some way to survive.
@Shurikai I loved the Dragoon rpg. Gold is earth, but are you looking for a tank type character, or does it matter what attributes I give him?
I have to ask a few questions about vampires being born.

So, vampires are alive then? Why are they immortal if they can reproduce? Or do they have a limited lifespan? Did they ever evolve from humans? Were they a magical mistake? Demonspawn? Are they into possibly leaving the planet so that they can continue to reproduce and expand to new planets and continue to grow in numbers? What are they going to do about the longer term impending death of the sun? Are they just some kind of divine curse-mockery of humankind?

If humans are totally subjugated, then what do they really do every day? Do they fight amongst each other? What constitutes the vampire's ruling body? What about animals on the planet? Does Africa still have elephants and lions and shit? What about vampire nations across the globe? I assume China is all vampires. India? Are there any places still run by humans?

Are any of the original vampires around from the initial takeover 4000 years ago? What about vampires from earlier than that time? Are they still around? Could I possibly play one that woke up in a time-capsule or tumb of some kind? Cuz that'd be rad.
@thewizardguy

Mithias lowered his altitude a little, to match eye to eye with his astute opponent. He looked him over briefly. The man appeared to be human in body, but clearly more than that in ability. The scars he bore showed as proof of his past struggles. Clearly, this was a man who had fought to attain his power, and yet indicated that he feared to be judged as weak.

"I never judge on looks." The flying vampire responded calmly. Mithias really had no idea how he was going to deal with explosive blasts on par with nuclear bombs, but then again, how was an unarmed martial artist going to deal with two summonable swords that had the capacity to cut spirit? Not to mention Mithias' other attributes and skills... He'd probably stick to non-lethal techniques for the good of his practice partner.

"I have come to challenge you. ... What are the terms of our duel?"

I'm waiting for this super awesomeness to get started.
@Rusalka Having trouble deciding whether or not to kill the vampire? lol
