8:00 PM

Lia wiped her brow of sweat and glanced out the window, the sun was going down. It was finally time. She wiped her hands on her pants and gleefully skipped out of the motel room she had been cleaning. She went back down to the staff room, carefully avoiding contact with anyone else. Once she got into the locker room she quickly changed her clothes, stripping the fatigues the cleaners were forced to wear for her usual streetwear. Once she was done changing she made sure to put her headphones on and her hood up. She didn’t want anyone recognizing her, or trying to speak with her.

Her first stop was an important one, in fact it was most of the plan. A store named United Pyrotechnics was where she was headed. She walked in and heard some alternative rock music playing over the speakers. ”Hi, I have a sort of strange request…” Lia began. She left the store happily, but with a wallet quite a bit lighter. She couldn’t wait for some of the others to see what she had set up.

Secondly she headed to an REI. Once she was there she quickly sought out the gear section, picking out a few lawn chairs and found herself pleasantly surprised. Though there wasn’t much selection at this time in the year she was able to get enough for everyone. They would be able to pick from their favourite Disney princesses. She headed to the cash register and refused to speak, making it as evident as possible that she was listening to music and handing the cashier exact change. She avoided eye contact and seemed to avoid detection. She realized that this surprise was quite dangerous for potentially flopping in general.

But she struck that thought from her mind and decided to keep moving forward. When she eventually made it home she made her last stop, setting the lawn chairs up on the roof of the motel. Getting them up there was the hard part, she ended up having to take them up one by one. Finally content with her situation, she glanced at her watch and realized she only had ten minutes left. She hopped down towards their room and was pleasantly surprised to see that at least by sun down everyone was back in the motel room. ”Thank god you’re all here. I’ve got our surprise ready, you’ve all got five minutes – make sure you grab your sweaters.” She popped back into the room and grabbed her own sweater. And immediately waited by the door. When all of her ducks were in a row she began leading them to the roof where they were able to pick out their favourite Disney princess chair (she herself picked Ariel).

“Ladies and gentlemen, I know recently we’ve had a rough time with everything and I know no one wants to talk about. So instead of talking about our problems, I give you my surprise!” She announced loudly, as if by the will of some god – there they were.

Fireworks

They lit up the sky brilliantly. Without another word, Lia fell back into her Ariel chair, content with the world. They were happening pretty far away from their motel so that was of no cause for concern. Everything was officially fine.
I'll prepare a time skip if that's what people would prefer!

I feel violated
Well in all fairness, no way you could've prepared for me to join the city players really.
Gratia Mindaro – An Old Friend

Bianca Nuit was picked up by the bullhead. She watched as she rose up into the air. She couldn’t stop staring at Gratia who was standing there, without her coat. She was finally pulled into the bullhead by an assistant who attempted to begin a psychological evaluation. They probably weren’t going to like what they would find. But she silently reminded herself that Gratia didn’t get out of bed for Bianca to falsify a medical examination. So she did what she does best.

Bianca began to gush about her latest trip to Mistral.

Gratia Mindaro – Mistral, Je T’aime

The bullhead rose up into the air and the wind flushed the pavement with a refreshingly cold breeze. Gratia Mindaro was standing next to a car which itself held the body of a Mafioso and another one whom was unconscious. It would be a long night.

Napoli Fiordilatte & Beryl Harken – A Basic Infiltration

Beryl would manage to catch up to her teammate just as he successfully transitioned between hiding spots. Marissa, god bless the girl - would be too occupied to notice the increasing amount of Hunters in her general vicinity. Napoli would now be able to make out what was through the window to the warehouse, there was an unbelievable amount of Faunus, more than 50 to be sure. Due to the sheer number of Faunus he couldn't make out much more from window, though he did also seem to be able to notice the fact that it was slightly ajar, as if someone had opened it due to the heat. Marissa immediately turned to face the direction of Napoli and Beryl, not that she could see them.

She began tapping away at her phone screen. She seemed impatient, worried perhaps.

"Where the hell are they..."
Intro post is up! Remember kids: Don't fall prey to the deliciousness of the Pizzabots, join that Anti-Pizza Coalition today.

Hitomi jogged back towards her school, guitar case in tow as she struggled to keep pace. She was running lopsided due to the sheer weight and size of the guitar case garnering looks from passersby as she attempted to make good time getting back for her music club. As she ran back to school she took in the sheer beauty of the city that she was able to call home. It was an innocuous mixture of pavement, dreams that hadn’t yet reached fruition and those who had given up on the idea of fruition at all. But it was a relaxing cityscape either way. There was just the right amount of pressure for young students like herself. Enough to make you want to succeed, but not enough to force breaks due to student depression.

When Hitomi had reached just a few more blocks until she would reach the school she realized that something was wrong. The city… Was empty. Sure, most people were most likely busy with their day to day menial affairs, but this was…. Most students would be at their club activities, but that didn’t explain….

This was exactly like those dreams.

She heard a voice.

It was a voice that was entirely new to the lover, but it wasn't new in that reoccurring dream. In that dream she saw this empty city and heard that voice.

With her arms at her side the lover walked towards the yell. It was certainly more of a yell than a scream. Screams implied terror, fear, injury… This was more of a call to arms than anything else. Thought the words were lost on her. As Hitomi peered around the corner cautiously, she would think up spy names for herself.

However when she saw the scene ahead of her, she was surprised.

"DAISUKE-KUN!" "This is your chance to seize the day! If you truly love me, prove yourself worthy! I need more carbonated mortars!"

The lover’s mind immediately barreled into self-investigations of the term ‘carbonated mortars.’ The thought started as a rough sketch and blueprint. It had the appearance of a two-litre bottle of soda that meant business. It had wings and fins for aero-dynamic capabilities. Unfortunately, however, Hitomi was unable to reach the practical analysis portion of that thought. Instead her eyes stupidly took in the rest of the picture in front of her.

The debris of what used to be a delivery truck. A large crowd forming around the scene at hand. Pizza delivery machines, that all seemed to be…

One shot Hitomi a look that spelled it out well enough for her.

Cheese and crackers! Those Pizzatrons look vicious! She said aloud, bringing her hand carrying the guitar case up to her mouth and nearly knocking herself over in the process. She examined the situation once more and noticed that the girl who had first spoken, the one who was about the same age as Hitomi was forming an offensive against the oppressive Pizzatrons.

Holy moly ravioli those delicious delivery dudes are evil!” She said racing forward, once more lopsided as half-obese seesaw. She had gotten a bit closer to the other two who were the anti-pizza coalition in this situation. While Hitomi would of course, never do anything offensive towards pizza – those who delivered it were clearly in the wrong here.

That’s when it all clicked.

Of course.

Carbonated mortars.

The soda makes the undeniably corrupt zealots of delivering pizza weak. Of course.

A smile the size of the grand canyon formed across Hitomi’s small mouth as she raised, or attempted to raise, her arms.

I am ready to help with the acquisition and launching of carbonated mortars. Ma’am!” She announced to the commander of the anti-pizza coalition, who, ironically enough was straddling what Hitomi could only assume to be the corpse of the deliverers of cheesy goods' leader.

Her commander was a brave woman. That much was to be sure. She would retrieve for her only the most carbonated of mortars. She attempted to salute and almost fell once more. Some rational part of her mind reminded her she had a free hand to emote with.
@chukklehed

That one's one me, it was more tongue and cheek about Juliet in general. Fixing it now~
