@Savo

Something along these lines.

I think I'll add this to my character sheet.
If you go veteran wrestler, Ersatz will play your entrance theme every time we go fight something on his guitar.

Offer stands for black belt guy but I don't think they have theme songs.
@Ogobrogo After 10 minutes of listening to English and French folk songs, I came up with this. (Though I'm not too sure on the tune itself)

Perhaps this is more a poem than a song. Then again, composers set famous poems to their pieces to make songs before.
Ersatz is just gonna stand over at a corner, playing tunes appropriate to the misadventures of the group.

As well, @Ogobrogo, I assume that there's some kind of anthem or hymn about Thorne or the Good-King Roderick? Perhaps easily playable by guitar and able to rally the spirits of the people after a tragedy?
First off, I love the setting @Ogobrogo. Secondly, I've made my character to be a Gogo inspired Machinist and hope it's to your liking.

January 5th, 1900

After months of deliberation and meticulous vetting by the princes’ council of appointees known as the Duma, the assembly had elected a diplomat to oversee the relations for the neighboring Volanth Empire as the last man, Prince Nikolai Golitsyn, had retired from that position. The declaration had appointed the military commander Baron Pyotr Nikolayevich Wrangel to the post, and a letter was drafted to each princedom as well as to the Empire itself. The contents of the Empire-bound letter read as follows.

"To our most gracious and benevolent neighbor,

The Princely State of Mehrsaba has appointed Baron Pytor Wrangel of the Neva Governate as our dedicated diplomat for all affairs regarding our two nations. In a few days from now, he shall land in the capital port of the province of Varn, the heart of the Imperial-Princely sea trade. His decisions wield the blessing of the twelve princes of Mehrsaba and we trust your guidance, along with our co-operation and resources, shall usher in a new era of prosperity for us all.

With utmost respect,

The Duma of Mehrsaba"

Baron Pyotr Nikolayevich Wrangel

However, the true nature of this appointment was more spiteful than it seemed. The baron himself was no stranger to positions of power. Just before this, he was the commander of Neva’s provincial army known as the Black Army and led his troops on horseback at the frontline to squash a peasant uprising a few years ago. Rumors of his battlefield skill led to rumors of unchecked ambition, and this new diplomatic appointment to a far-away, foreign country was the answer those that feared Wrangel had come up with. Indeed, even the prince of Neva had thought that Wrangel would subvert the rule in his own principality. This was not lost on the Baron himself but he could not protest such an appointment without insulting not only his princes but also the neighboring Volanth Empire.

As soon as the news broke, Baron Wrangel was immediately sent on the war galleon TPMS Kovno escorted by 15 other cruisers headed to Varn. Those nearby when the ships sailed swore that they heard expletives as the ship left port but these rumors could not be confirmed.

Name of Nation: The Princely State of Mehrsaba

Government: Confederate Union of Principalities

Species: Humans

Culture:
The land of Mehrsaba has long been divided into small pockets of influences ruled by princes along with a large peasant population. While border disputes had occurred at times, the principalities rarely mobilized non-professional mercenaries and, as such, much of the people do not hold any significant martial values. What the Mehrsabian peasantry lacked in war, they made up for with the expertise in the usage of the lands and the seas. Centuries of mining, farming, fishing, and animal husbandry has allowed them to survive to the present day however the new century seems to be daunting to this relic of the past.

Territory Claims:

Economy:
Within recent times, global trade has given riches to the surviving dynasties by allowing them to sell their lands’ resources while exploiting the peasantry for cheap labor, earning them the nickname of “Slaverprinces” amongst the more disenfranchised population. The coffers of the ruling princes have filled themselves to brim, but the country itself is rife with economic hardship for most.

Technology:
Though they’ve had communication with the outside world at times, the state had limited trade to certain seaports and border cities. Those that did not live in those cities had no clue what existed outside their borders due to strict serfdom, effectively putting the state in isolation. Only now with increased trading have the majority of the populace even realize how advanced other nations are.

Army:
The princes had experienced an arms race of sorts in recent times among themselves. What few resources didn’t get sold to other countries were used to equip the mercenary armies, known as the Pomestnoe Vojsko, with swords, halberds, cannons, and muskets. In theory, Mehrsaba could punch above its weight class if they needed to but good luck uniting the princes to a singular cause.

Due to recent developments, such as the disproportionate amount of weapons to manpower, the princes have introduced programs to train the younger men of the peasantry class in operating firearms. These peasants are known as Streltsy militia, and are used to reinforce the mercenary armies as needed.

Navy:
The naval capabilities of Mehrsaba are a natural extension of their princes’ ocean trade history as raiders, known as Ushkuiniks. Being a raider-sailor is perhaps one of the few great opportunities a peasant can enjoy due to a guaranteed meal a day. With that being said, the Mehrsabian state has attempted to buy more modern ships from more advanced nations as well as training their peasantry to be able to man these vessels.

Air Force:
An innovative technology from overseas, airplanes were being bought by the princes of Mehrsaba from other countries faster than the builders could make airfields for them. Due to its complex nature, pilots are usually from the educated upper class burghers or from the royal families themselves as the peasantry will need time to adapt to it.

Rolls:
Roll ID: 88825950585765888
8 - Territory - Your nation is decently sized, with room for a few cities and a decent amount of farmland.
3 - Tech - Your nation is doing poorly, extremely antiquated. Modernization is still a long ways out.
11 - Army Size - Your army is decently sized, and is maintained year-round.
4 - Economy - Your economy is in the middle of a recession and produces little.
19 - Production - Your nation is almost world-class, with excellent production all around, as well as excellent resource exploitation
13 - Navy Size - You have a decently sized navy, with a fairly militarized portion.
16 - Airforce Size - You have a decent amount of biplanes.
1 - Mobilization Ability - It takes several years to get up to full strength due to rampant deserters and draft dodging.

Other: International affairs are handled by a council with representatives chosen by each prince of the state known as the Duma.
There are 12 princes of the state, each with equal say in the international affairs of said state.

I'm going for a trade-based, naval power. The rolls I got sort of work for it too. I'll probably add more stuff to it later on.

I'm interested in joining as well. Since airships and flintlocks exist in this setting, I'd like to be a Sky Pirate, or Machinist if we're going by FFT's system. However, if you'd like to limit firearms to NPCs at the moment, I can go classical Thief instead.
