A P P E A R A N C EAlex stands at 5'6 and although she's not muscular, she maintains her toned figure. She has several tattoos: one on her right foot of a rose which she got when she was younger, and one of a cherry blossom tree branch extending from her left hipbone up to just between her shoulder blades. She carries no major scars, aside from the typical childhood memories. She has a tongue piercing which she may remove depending on the nature of her assignment, but other than that, she has no other identifiable marks.

H I S T O R YAlex grew up in New York City to immigrant parents from India who moved to the states a few years before she was born. Her father, a neurosurgeon, and her mother were more than capable of raising Alex in an adequate home and making sure that their only child was happy and eventually, successful as well. She excelled in academics but she wanted a bigger challenge. When she reached college, Alex decided to get her Master's degree in Language and Communication. She completed her education in a timely manner meanwhile holding a job as a translator. After passing a series of background checks and tests, Alex was accepted into the FBI academy, much to her parents' surprise. They were nonetheless supportive, but upon graduation she was stationed outside of the Unite Stated and they decided that it was best if they moved back to India to be with family.
Alex spent some years overseas but after that she was sent to the FBI field office in Boston. She's been there ever since and she loved it. It was there that her long-time boyfriend, Lucas, proposed to her and they got married a few months later. Even though they were extremely happy and everything seemed to be going well, Lucas came down with a lower respiratory infection and he was immediately sent to the hospital. That's when the outbreak happened. Even though her first concern was getting to the hospital to find Lucas, upon getting there she found out he was gone without trace. She's been searching for him ever since, but she fears she'll never see her husband again.
