My therapist mentioned referring me to a psychiatrist for anxiety medication, then at the next appt. said it wasn't a good idea as it doesn't the issue. I would've loved the temporary relief though...

Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

Put some aloe on that burn.
"Donny?"

He became dead weight, taking Lily by surprise. She struggled to keep her footing for a moment, but eventually managed to ease him down to the floor without hurting him or herself. When she was able to take a good look at him, she was surprised to see how much of a mess he really was.

"What the hell happened to you?" she whispered, pushing two fingers against the side of his neck. Lily couldn't find a pulse, and she rushed to get his phone from the coffee table. Why she was helping him was beyond her, but she had a feeling that she would feel somewhat guilty if she didn't.

"911, what's your emergency?"

"Yes, I need an ambulance sent to this location immediately, there's an unresponsive male on the floor. I don't know the address, but he's not breathing."

Before the dispatcher was able to ask any questions, Lily hung up his phone and silenced it, wiping it off with her shirt before placing it back in on the table. She then grabbed her bag from one of the couches and looked over at the rest of the living room. Everything seemed fine there, so she moved to the bathroom to turn off the water and grab the remains of the chair. With her handcuffed hands full, Lily walked by Donny again, staring at him for a moment before deciding it was time for her to leave.

"Don't worry, help will be here in a few minutes."

It's perfectly fine, jail isn't fun for anyone.
"Hmm..." Jennifer grabbed the handcuffs Nate had taken out of the bag, seemingly contemplating his offer before shaking her head. "Nah, I've retired that role. I know, you're heart-broken." She turned away from Nate, giving Vin a quick wink before searching the bag for the gear she'd need to impersonate an officer. She pulled out the only uniform shirt and matching pair of pants left.

"Yeah, this'll be fun..."

Jennifer took off her shoes, but kept the rest of her clothes on as she put the uniform over them. Luckily, everything fit her okay. She buttoned up the shirt and tucked it into her pants before grabbing the pair of black boots. "I've always wondered what it's like having this much power. I guess we'll find out."

Once she was set, Jennifer put her shoes in the bag and zipped it shut.

"Alright, let's see how far we can get before we're caught."

She wasn't being completely serious, but Jennifer knew that this was a very risky move, even for the trio that always managed to get out of a sticky situation.

Lily sat alone in the shower, the water drenching her as if she were outdoors in the middle of a downpour. With Donny outside, she looked back at the right leg of the chair which had become loose after dragging her weight around. Maybe she could use this to her advantage. Lily shifted her weight a few times, as that was the only thing she could do at the moment, but nothing occurred. She knew what she had to do next, although she didn't like the idea. She closed her eyes and pushed herself back in order for the chair to fall over. Luckily for her, it didn't fall all the way down as the wall and the edge of the bathtub held the chair up at a certain angle. She looked toward the door, but there was no sign of Donny. Good. Lily then rocked herself some more until the chair was fully vertical on its back. Much to her surprise, however, some parts became extremely loose in the process. Must be the fact that the chair was old and it had just gotten wet. Lily wiggled around until she was able to break off some parts, and eventually, loosen up the ropes around her. She wasn't completely free though as she was still handcuffed, but it was definitely a great start.

Even though Lily was cold and wet, she left the shower running as she grabbed a piece of one of the broken legs which she would use as a stake. As quietly as possible, she opened the bathroom door and was glad to see Donny stood with his back to her. The sound coming from the TV was definitely a life-saver. She slowly took one step forward, then another, and then she rushed up behind Donny and hooked her handcuffed hands around his neck, pulling backwards toward her with the wooden stake menacingly pressed against his jugular.

"Alright Donny, enough games. Drop whatever weapons you have on you--each and every single one of them--and tell me where the handcuff key is. You don't play nice, but neither do I. Try anything remotely suspicious and that'll be the end of you." She was whispering in his ear, something she often did in order for her threat to have a greater effect on her victim.

Excuse my garbage posts, currently going through one of those quarter-life crisis or whatever the term is.
"Yeah, it was one of those headaches...but I'm not sure what happened. I haven't come into contact with anyone, much less absorb their injuries..." Jennifer trailed off, sighing at the possibilities of what it all meant for her. "I don't want to get these headaches for the rest of my life, Vin, I'm scared. I really am."

She gave him a helpless look before dusting off her hands, walking out of the cell with Vin following closely behind her. "So, pretty boy," she turned to Nate, that smirk of his still present on his face, "care to guide us out of this hellhole? Oh, and remind me to buy your cop friend a drink for busting us out one of the nights."

Jennifer turned to Vin, extending her hand out for him to grab while motioning towards the door.

"Dammit, Donny, neither of those choices are very appealing to me!" She looked away, considering the best option for herself. "You don't have to aim that thing at me like I'm some sort of terrorist you know. Just drag me in there, but at the very least, you will untie my legs," she added with a serious expression her face, "I'll figure out the rest to try to preserve as much of my dignity as possible, one that you obviously have no regards for."

With the wine now clouding her judgement, Lily grew a bit concerned. She hoped that she could eventually find her way out of the apartment. Donny's back-and-forth attitude left her guessing as to what he'd do once the 24 hours expired, regardless of what he had said to her.

I was waiting on Sif, but Madison was just leaving his office as per my last post.
@Rawk

She did scream, but with the guard taking Vin to the boys' room, I doubt anyone else heard her. I mean, inmates do crazy shit all the time, so they know to disregard minor things like that.
