My therapist mentioned referring me to a psychiatrist for anxiety medication, then at the next appt. said it wasn't a good idea as it doesn't the issue. I would've loved the temporary relief though...

Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

I'll have my fight post today. Work and personal finances suddenly gang banged me and it wasn't enjoyable.
Oh so just because Nate gave JJ a friendly pat, Vin can now play hero to some Russian chick?

Mhmm.
Mellie felt somewhat relieved when the other person messaged her back right away, which she assumed to be a woman by the way that they personalized their reply. The police would maybe take a minute or two to come up with the right message to keep Mellie engaged, avoiding spooking her away so they could get information out of her. But that wasn't the case here, not from what she could tell.

>No, don't do the sprinklers. It can anger him and I know someone inside.

As she went from camera to camera, Mellie saw a large group of people gathered upstairs. She did her best to try to identify the perpetrator, but then something else caught her attention.

>That's him in the lobby, right? With the little girl?

Mellie had been quiet for a minute, and Alison wasn't too patient.

"Mel, what's going on? Please tell me..."

"They're safe from what I can see. The guy is away from the all the hostages except for a little girl. I think he'll use her to negotiate."

"Oh my god. I hope she's okay--

"She seems fine, for now. Let me call you back, I need to figure something out."

Without giving her a chance to reply, Mellie hung up the phone and returned her attention to the screen. She was biting one of her fingernails at that point, nervously waiting for a reply from the mysterious user before making her next move.

"Welcome home, honey," Jennifer joked as she squeezed Vin's hand, although the mineshaft felt more like a prison than anything else to her. She narrowed her eyes in an attempt to pick up anything beyond the pitch-black tunnel, but she could only make out an infinite amount of darkness.

Over the course of the past few days, her internal wounds had become much less painful and was causing her nothing more than mild discomfort. Jennifer's attitude had somewhat improved with her slight recovery, but she was still wary of the group from Harlan. She didn't have anything against them, but she did notice that their personalities seemed a bit off, maybe even hostile. Jennifer didn't worry too much about it though, figuring it was her own mind to blame for any feelings of prejudice she had towards people from small towns. But who could blame her, she'd been a city girl all her life and that would never change.

When Vin broke the silence and suggested she go in ahead to investigate, Jennifer shuddered at the idea of what she might find in that forsaken hole. Whatever rodents she happened to come across would be the least of her worries.

"Nate, why don't you and your brothers go ahead and make sure it's safe? It's not like we'll notice whether one of you go missing."

I believe that's already @Xandrya's role...Whether she likes it or not.

Don't I get a say in this?
So far, Kelly's "patrol" was going smoothly. She could attribute the lack of bodies to the fact that it was the middle of the night, that, or people like her weren't up at this time attempting to make their escape from the hospital. The fence line took a sharp turn to the right, and so did she, following along the path as if she actually worked the job.

Even though Kelly was on high alert, the voices that suddenly appeared out of thin air spooked her to the point where she took the rifle off its safety setting and placed her pointer finger on the trigger. The voices were barely above a whisper, and Kelly's pulse shut up until she was sure that her heart was going to burst from her chest. Having developed tunnel vision, the poor woman subconsciously ignored the signs that something wasn't right with her body. The odd tingly sensation was unnoticeable at first until it rapidly developed into intense pain. At first, Kelly gasped, having just experienced her body purposely working against her, but when her condition worsened, she couldn't help but drop to her hands and knees as she screamed in utter and complete agony. She felt her blood boil from within her chest before it coursed through the rest of her body, making the experience anything but pleasurable. Her skin started to stretch beyond a comfortable level, shredding the uniform she had on and snapping the sling attached to the rifle. As all that was happening, Kelly's screams continued to fill the night, alerting the guards closest to her who immediately ran to her location to investigate the situation. Unfortunately, they didn't make it in time to witness her transformation, how her skin changed to white fur as her body contorted into something resembling a beast.

Kelly wasn't the pretty, petite woman she was before. Her appearance was now that of a werewolf, unbeknownst to her at the moment. As the guards approached her with a look of shock and disbelief, animal instincts took over and she lunged at them, blood and gut staining her white fur as she failed to contain herself, or whatever it was.

@Rawk
I'm not sure whether I should OP Maddie up a bit or have her lose the fight even though she almost had the bastard.
I'll stick to fire.
Alright, thanks. I should have a post up soonish.
