My therapist mentioned referring me to a psychiatrist for anxiety medication, then at the next appt. said it wasn't a good idea as it doesn't the issue. I would've loved the temporary relief though...

Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

Definitely hire a helper, and have a clear outline for the story you want. With the GM and Co-GMs knowing what's going on, then the rest falls on the players.
“Nice to meet you, Sandra,” Amy smiled, turning in the general direction of where the female voice was coming from, but obviously unable to see her extended hand. “My name’s Amy—Amy Rosseau.” The young woman felt around for her luggage, then sat on it to take a quick break. “I’m here because…well, I just can’t seem to keep my hands off of things that don’t belong to me.”

That last statement was said in a matter-of-fact tone. Amy’s cover-up was simple as she didn’t want to go too much into detail to avoid getting caught up in her own lie. Just then, another female voice chimed in, repeating the briefing they’d just had to Amy so she could be caught up with everything. The young woman couldn't help but give a slight smirk as the entire plan was unveiled to her. She would definitely have to report what she'd heard to her commander later when she was shown to her quarters.

"That was very informative, thank you," Amy said, sounding genuinely appreciative. She stood up again to address everyone in the room.

"As some of you probably already know, I'm blind. I can get around using sound, but that method isn't entirely foolproof. With that said, my armor helps me see basic shapes and outlines. It's--it's something I've gotten used to, but there's always room for error. What I ask from you though, is that you don't treat me any differently than you do those around you. I may need some help here and there, but that's the extent of it."

Amy refrained from speaking any further. She reached for her luggage and waited to either be dismissed or given other instructions.

I guess I'll wait to post until a few more people do so?
@pugbutter Don't skip me! I wasn't sure whether you were responding to my post or not.
I'll have a post up tomorrow morning.
I think abandoning it for some time was the worst thing you did. Not that I blame you as rl obviously takes precedence.
Updated my character to be 17 years older.
You could always revamp the game, if you're up for it of course.
Not gonna lie, totally recycled my character from another game I was gonna sign up for but never did. It's kind of been bothering me too, seeing nothing but kids. I'll edit my character soon to make her an adult.

Name: Dr. Jen Tulley

Age: 33

Description: She is 5'8 and 130 lbs. Her blonde hair is of medium length and she has hazel eyes. Jen has a small tongue piercing and a butterfly tattoo on her foot.

Personality: Jen is a sweet woman. She has a big heart for people who are somehow less fortunate than her, and she believes in “an eye for an eye”. Even though she's fully aware of the limits set for patient-doctor relationships, Jen can't help but feel genuine empathy for some of her patients who've gone through a very traumatic experience. She has, on some occasions, crossed the line to help some of those people, despite receiving a warning after a colleague caught her mid-act.

Background: Jen was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and has lived there all her life. She attended public school where her grades were something that made her parents proud, and she even ran cross country and track. Being an only child, Jen was always interested being around people and learning more about them. Her parents weren't neglectful, per se, but they did spend a lot of time working.

Eventually, Jen attended college in South Florida as well. She lived with her parents all throughout undergrad and moved out after being accepted to a private university's psychology program. It was there she got her doctorate and eventually became a certified psychologist. Jen met her boyfriend, Jonas, while she was out with her girlfriends and he was in the area working an off duty assignment. Despite Jonas being in uniform, Jen approached him with her alcohol courage and asked him out. They've been dating ever since.

Fast forward to the present. Jen was on a trip to a national psychology conference when news of the outbreak surfaced. She's been extremely careful when she's had to leave her hotel room for whatever reason.

Skills: An excellent runner, whether sprinting or long distance.

Motivation: Jen wants to find her family to make sure they're alive.
