My therapist mentioned referring me to a psychiatrist for anxiety medication, then at the next appt. said it wasn't a good idea as it doesn't the issue. I would've loved the temporary relief though...

Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

I've been waiting for someone to make a CS, so by all means go ahead and make one.
Amy lowered her weapon, but didn't put it away as she left it dangling by her side.

"You scared the hell out of me, you know that?" she replied, trying to ease the tension between the two of them as she unconsciously took a step back. "I went after one of the workers who slipped through the door. He thought he could get away, and he obviously succeeded." She sighed, looking behind her. "If you want we can split up and go after him, or I can resume the hunt by myself."

She hoped that by giving him two options to choose from, Arex would either leave her alone or go off on his own to search for a ghost.

"I don't have anything against it," Kahleni said, shrugging her shoulders in response. She was more or less neutral about whatever decisions were coming up, partly because she's never been asked to choose between anything, and she also didn't care much about the mission itself. Kahleni was going on this mission because she had no choice.

"We can use all the help we can get, especially if he knows his way around," she motioned towards Reek, speaking solely from common sense and without a hidden motive.
When she carefully rounded the corner, her pistol aimed straight ahead, Amy sighed with disappointment as she relaxed her posture. She knew she had limited time to find her father before she'd have to get back to the others, but all these empty hallways would just make the search that much longer than it had to be.

Amy continued down the hall, this time at a quicker pace than before. She was still being vigilant, and that's when she heard footsteps from somewhere behind her. She slowed down just enough to not be noticed, then quickly whipped around.

"Don't fucking move!"

Her voice echoed of the walls, and even though it took her a few seconds, she recognized his silhouette...

"Arex? What are you doing here?"

@Dark Light
Someone invite a friend or something!
Amy wasted no time in disembarking as soon as they landed, her first order of business being to take a few shots at the group of robots that were quickly approaching them as she simultaneously made her way to cover. Amy landed a perfect shot against one of their opponents, a quick smile forming as she derived a little bit of pleasure from her skilled marksmanship abilities. But that smile soon faded when she focused on the miners running for their lives.

Dad...

The young woman then started firing on the miners. She knew her father wouldn't be doing any of that slave work as he was there on very official business, but nonetheless, he would be killed just like the rest of them if she didn't get to him first. Amy slowly went along the wall of the cargo bay until she reached a small door, then quickly stepped inside the dark room before closing the door behind her. The lights flickered on at her presence, definitely motion-activated, and she found herself to be in long and narrow hallway. Amy went in the direction which would take her further into the station, hoping that no one from her squad would notice her sudden absence.
"Well, I certainly appreciate your honesty," Kahleni replied, turning to face Esailia. "Some part of me believes that you'll be relieved to learn that my magic doesn't exactly help me in any way—or rather, in this case I suppose it does... I'm more of a healer, so I can stop the bleeding in a wound as well as restart a heart. That's a basic explanation of my abilities, although I'm not sure how powerful the spells themselves are, and whether I can do much more beyond that."

Owl—or rather Gideon’s—confession made Amelia realize how easily people could be fooled, to include herself. Of course, she hadn't been there for long, but nonetheless, the whole thing proved an important point. Both men shook hands, albeit rather awkwardly despite the fact that they had already been talking for who knows long. She noted Gideon's grin as she took another bite of her food, and for some reason, she thought that he was hiding something more. Maybe it was all in her head, or maybe it wasn't, but she couldn't be sure because it's been her experience that the Zone liked to play mind games with its inhabitants.

Once she was doing eating, Amelia pushed the plate away from her. "Well, it was nice meeting you both." she said as she grabbed a napkin, "I appreciate the food and drink, but I think I should get going now."

Those two didn't seem too bad, but Amelia wasn't completely sure as to their true intentions, and it was best to not take any chances.
Should I post? I can godmod Andrew by having him shake hands and introduce himself, or I can wait until your reply, @Fyre Unholy. What say ye?
"Esailia...that's nice. My name's Kahleni, although nearly everyone else around here has been calling me much worse for as long as I can remember."

The girl didn't bother looking at the Kil'garen, instead, she kept her eyes trained on the ground about 20 feet in front of her. Being able to actually see her surroundings with such clarity was in and of itself entertaining enough for the young mage, however, her facial expressions didn't betray what was going on in her head. She was able to maintain her calm demeanour despite everything that was going on at the moment, and her voice remained low and almost emotionless.

"And I guess I should thank you for looking out for us. I mean, it's definitely in your best interest to make sure we stay alive, but the fact that you're willing to admit it without patronizing us is rather admirable."
