My therapist mentioned referring me to a psychiatrist for anxiety medication, then at the next appt. said it wasn't a good idea as it doesn't the issue. I would've loved the temporary relief though...

Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

"I'm fine," Amy replied as Grayson helped her up. The blast had seriously scared the hell out of her, mainly because after she was knocked off her feet she was completely disoriented for a few moments. The feeling is incomparable to almost anything else.

When Stryker rushed them to the War Room, Amy grew a bit anxious as to their current situation. Orders were being handed out left and right and she couldn't help but feel like a sitting duck. She tried to quietly ask Grayson for her visor but he was no longer next to her.

"I've got to get my visor," she said to Stryker, carefully making her way to the exit to go search for her precious set of eyes. It went flying out of her hand after the blast, and not knowing were it was, or even if it was still operable, was not a feeling she enjoyed.
@Ayame

Sure thing, go ahead and make your CS!
@Dark Light

So, down to meet Grayson and Amy or are you still doing your thing?

Lily looked over at Alfie, the poor guy clearly conflicted over his own feelings. She smiled softly at him before taking a quick glance over at Thrax. "You kow, you don't have to be ashamed to feel scared. Fear is an emotion we all experience, and a rather important one at that. Think about it, fear is one way we prepare ourselves for danger, the same way a prey does when faced with a predator." She paused for a moment to wonder whether she had made sense, but she knew Alfie was intelligent enough to understand. "To be totally honest, I'm scared as well," she continued, leaning closer to Alfie to be just out earshot, "but it's how we react to the situation that will define whether or not we manage to survive."

Gauging his undecipherable expression to what she had just said, Lily gave him a playful nudge before she whispered "You'll be okay" in a rather low voice. She then rubbed her eyes, the situation they were in slowly getting to her. But rather than allowing Alfie to see her stressed out, she stood up and started pacing around the cell. Thrax still seemed to be lost in his own small world, and she didn't dare disturb him. She knew better than to not respect his own personal space.

"What a time to be alive," she whispered to herself, leaning on the cell door opposite of Thrax, watching the guards make their rounds. When they were first detained, they had found the small bottle of liquor Lily kept on her most of the time, and those bastards even had the nerve to give her a smirk as they opened up the bottle to smell its content. There was a small possibility that she could have poisoned the liquor just to spite them, but doing so would have unleashed an immediate retaliation against them, and no small bottle of liquor was worth such trouble.

Her anxiety still not easing, Lily walked back over to where Alfie sat and rejoined him as she got comfortable, bringing up her knees to her chest in a unconscious protective gesture. "Gotta love playing the waiting game."

@Dark Light Crossfire and I are working on a collab, then we can get Arex involved (yeah, he's in a lot of trouble)
Great, I hijack your game and then you return... Don't turn me in, please?

But seriously, that's really nice what you guys did for your friend; she's lucky to have you. No hard feelings at all, and I'll be down for a reboot :)
As soon as Helena reached the gym, she noticed Raylan walking over to her. Beads of sweat clung to his forehead, and his chest rose up and down with each heavy breath. Hell of a work-out he must have just endured, and of course given the hand wraps, she knew that he had hit the bag pretty hard.

"Well, I did invite you to that party," she replied matter-of-factly, taking the bottle from him to take a sip as her own was still in her bag, empty and dry, "but all I got was a 'I can't make it'". Helena did her best to imitate Raylan's accent, although she wasn't feeling too confident that she pulled it off just right. "Had you been there, I wouldn't have drank myself nearly to death as you would have helped me achieve the mission."

She playfully thrusted the water bottle into his chest, feeling a muscular wall of resistance underneath the shirt. Could Helena know for sure what was going on in Raylan's head, she might actually persuade herself to ask him out. But he didn't show interest, and likewise, she accepted the fact that they were just friends.

"So why did you come so early anyway? You know the gym doesn't have that many guests until later in the afternoon so I'm going to have to work out alone."
@AcerRo I'm messing; lately I've been entertained by GIFs a lot more than I should.
