My therapist mentioned referring me to a psychiatrist for anxiety medication, then at the next appt. said it wasn't a good idea as it doesn't the issue. I would've loved the temporary relief though...

Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

Milena always admired a strong leader, and that's exactly who stood in front of her and the rest of her squad mates. Or at least, he gave off such impression. As she slowly eyed her surroundings, Milena felt a small sense of pride. She was happy to be one of the chosen few selected for this team, and if one were to pay close attention, they would notice the left corner of her lips slightly angled upwards in a smirk. Even though she was really looking forward to their missions, Milena maintained a flawless poker face.

Once their CO was finished with his speech, the team scattered to gather their documents. Milena did the same, the reality of this new adventure slowly setting in. But by no means was she nervous, just a tad anxious if that. She put away the documents after glancing over them when the woman who'd been referred to as the "German defect" walked up to her and another teammate and introduced herself as Helga Branwulf.

"Good morning. I'm Milena Kuznetsov, one of the medics for the squad. I hope I'm not needed too much on the battlefield," she joked with a slight smile to lighten the mood.

I'll have something up tomorrow, promise! Worked 4 hours overtime today and I'm drained.
I just need the bio for my character and I'll be done.
Interested in making a medic character.
"If only it was that easy," Amy whispered, her voice low enough so no one else could hear. For the most part, she was over her father's death, but unfortunately any mentions of a new mission usually forced the memories to come flooding back. It hurt like hell, but she was trying her hardest to not let it interfere with her job.

As the rest of the crew mingled among themselves and asked questions, Amy finished up what was left of the sandwich. She also gulped down her orange juice before stacking up the cup on top of the plate in front of her. She would put them away in the dishwasher later on, for the moment she would wait until everyone was finished with their questions.

New exciting opportunity coming up. Talk soon.

Dr. X

Emilia was intrigued, but the vagueness of the message wasn't enough to warrant a response from her and she would simply go talk to Dr. Xavier the next morning. Instead of drafting a quick reply, she gently tossed her laptop to the side and leaned back on the couch, contemplating whether she should go out for some dinner with a colleague from work. Just then, her phone rang.

"Hey Jenny."

"Emilia, hi. Listen, we're having a little get together in just over a half hour. Bruce and I were wondering whether you wanted to come over and enjoy some food and drinks. Nothing fancy, just an intimate gathering."

"Yeah, sure. I'll get ready and be on my way. Is that okay?"

"Of course. See you soon!"

"Okay, 'til then."

Emilia hung up the phone as she sat up to get off the couch.

What are you doing? Nathaniel's voice went off in her head, making Emilia stop dead in her tracks. He usually didn't bother her unless she found herself in a highly-stressful situation. But that wasn't the case here as she was just going to a friend's house.

Nothing, simply meeting a few people, she replied.

I see. Well, how about you stay in for the evening instead? You barely know those people and they're all probably halfway drunk out of their minds by now.

No. You're being ridiculous, now leave me alone. Emilia then stormed off to her bedroom, deciding to ignore whatever else Nate said to her. It wasn't the first time the guy bothered her with unnecessary requests or suggestions, and unfortunately, it wouldn't be the last. Nate, stop—

Without warning, Emilia had to fight him to prevent him from taking over. The struggle lasted a few moments, but in the end Emilia became trapped, enslaved in her body as Nate forced her to lose any and all physical control which rightfully belonged to her. From that moment on, she only had the option to witness whatever occurred around her.

Nathaniel James, get the hell out—

No, I don't think so. And since you're being such an inconsiderate person right now, I believe I have to enforce a stricter curfew. Good night, Emilia.

Those last few words were the last thing Emilia remembered before she blacked out, any and all recollection beyond that point nothing but a distant dream.
"Shit, I don't suppose you're here to break me free, right?" Olivia's attempt at some comedic relief to ease her anxiety went unnoticed. The man's expression was devoid of any acknowledgement as he slowly approached her, and when the blades became visible, Olivia tensed up. "Or...maybe you are?" Her voice wavered, and even though she wanted to move, Olivia didn't have much of a choice. But then, she remembered something from prior to her arrival at the island.

Olivia reached inside her jumpsuit and pulled out the small flashlight that miraculously, hadn't been lost yet. She messed with it for a moment before she turned around, her attention suddenly shifting to whatever was hiding within the bushes.

"Who's there?" she demanded, shining the light directly at the grass.
Okay, just wanted to know!
