PERSONALITY
Quiet and observant. AJ is not a girl of many words, and she prefers it that way. Being an only child, AJ has had her share of friends like everyone else, but no siblings to interact with when she's home. That's why it's just her and her laptop in her room most of the time. Her father, knowing AJ's personality like the back of his hand, leaves her alone instead of encouraging her to get out of her room more.
Despite the cool and collected exterior, AJ is somewhat of a troublemaker. She got a tattoo and a piercing at 13, bribing her older cousin to pass off as her guardian to have the adult consent that's required. If she targets someone, she will do so discreetly, avoiding the spotlight at all costs. AJ doesn't keep a journal or tells her friends a lot about her own personal life, knowing very well that anyone could read her journal or spread rumors about her if they wished. She focuses on her own life instead of worrying about others, and if someone wrongs her, she cuts them out entirely.
BIO
AJ is an only child who was born to Jason and the late Lucy McAllister in the heart of London. Her mother died from medical complications during a surgery when AJ was just 7 years old, at the time leading the young girl to become somewhat of a recluse from that moment forward. Going without that womanly presence in their home forced AJ to mature rather quickly, and her father, who was busy with work a lot of the time, tried his best to provide her with a normal childhood. AJ was very appreciative of her father's efforts, and she didn't want to give him any trouble. Whatever bad thing she did, it was always in total secrecy.
Spending a lot of her time online at the height of technology, AJ quickly learned how to get through firewalls, gain access to classified information, etc. The more knowledge she attained, the more she craved. Even though she was young, AJ caught the attention of a couple of hackers from the online community she was a part of. They, in turn, taught her quite a bit more than she already knew, and when they attempted to use AJ for their own gains, she cut them out completely. AJ then balanced out her life a little bit better, still spending a lot of time online but playing more football after school.
It wasn't until recently that AJ became suspicious of her father's whereabouts. Being a professor and a researcher, Jason was out of town quite a bit, but when challenged with the demand that he take a holiday so that they can spend some time together that summer, Jason very sternly told her he was unable to do so. His answer was not good enough. AJ then decided to sneak into his private study, which was strictly off limits, but couldn't find a way to get inside. She was locked out, so she decided to find another way in...using her computer. However, the moment she tried to gain access to her father's computer, her own laptop shut down and refused to restart.
Later that evening, AJ would find out a lot of information which changed her world forever. Jason, her father, was actually an MI6 operative. He had a very long, and very serious conversation with her that lasted well into the middle of the night. The following morning, when he knocked on her bedroom door, Jason presented AJ with some paperwork to join an academy away from home. Being merely half awake, AJ agreed, not exactly being aware of what she was getting herself into.
