Started calisthenics today; not to lose weight, but to get toned and get a little stronger. It's a 5x/week type deal ChatGPT drew out for me, but my snap, crackle, pop knees sure do love to complain..

I went out for brunch today to the Keys. Some group passed us by wearing vests and I made a comment to my boyfriend about me not needing a floatie when riding a jet ski since I can swim pretty well. My boyfriend then said long ago, he was launched off a WaveRunner going around 60 mph and the impact knocked the wind out of him, leaving him feeling dazed and all that. Had he not been wearing his vest, he would have had a hard time staying above water. He was a swimmer for over a decade and currently a certified diver.
Moral of the story? Wear your safety devices.

Some people have told me I look like Thalia, but I could never see it. Guess I don’t see myself having a celebrity lookalike.
This neighbor of mine thinks he’s funny, but he’s not. I shall gift him a toothbrush so that he may leave his place spotless. While he’s playing Battleship with the others, I will send out a mass invite to the worst crowd in the neighborhood regarding a “party” going on at his place with free booze.

My other neighbor seems grumpy. Since I was in the Navy and he likes Battleship, it makes it easy for me to pick out a gift.
@Landain Not all homes on the market are VA approved. I mean, that’s what my realtor tells me, but I’m a first-time home buyer going at it solo so I have 0 experience.
