Ah, the lovely stereotypes. They seem to follow you everywhere. Either you're called "emo" or "scene" or whatever these people have come up with to bring you down. The only thing they don't know is that you just as normal as them. Just because of your clothes, your music taste, and looks are different, they seem to treat you as outcasts.

You're finally out of the prison they call "high school". You think the judgment is over, but you still get looks. It doesn't matter what they think. It only depends on how you feel. If things get to you, just remember; darlin', you'll be okay.

Ava was obviously running out of options. She was surrounded by Pixies and she had to think quickly. She noticed the stalagmite pillars. "Well, it's my only chance," She said to herself, running towards the pillars. She jumped and kicked off of one in hopes to knock it down, as she kicked off of it, she did the same to the one beside it. She then landed and ran back towards the Pixies, sliding under them and back into the whole she just climbed up. She fell through and hit against the rocks on her way down. As Ava landed, her back ht the hard stone ground, making her yell in pain.

Alexi took a big ht of the bong and held in the smoke. She then coughed, feeling a good high. She gave the bong back to Krystoff and slid a blanket under the door. She then sat next to him. "Honestly, I'm starting to have those night terrors again." She said. "While I was passed out, I seen visions of my past. Those demons used to see have returned and I'm scared." Her face didn't show it, but on the inside Alexi was like a frightened child. "I just hope things don't hit me hard like last time.'

Pennhurst Asylum: An American Haunting

PENNHURST ASYLUM

In 1903, the Pennsylvania Legislature authorized the creation of the Eastern State Institution for the Feeble-Minded and Epileptic and a commission was organized to take into consideration the number and status of the feeble-minded and epileptic persons in the state and determine a placement for construction to care for these residents.This commission discovered 1,146 feeble-minded persons in insane hospitals and 2,627 in almshouses, county-care hospitals, reformatories, and prisons, who were in immediate need of specialized institutional care.
The legislation stated that the buildings would be in two groups, one for the educational and industrial department, and one for the custodial or asylum department. The institution was required to accommodate no fewer than five hundred inmates or patients, with room for additions.
In 1913, the legislature appointed a Commission for the Care of the Feeble-Minded which stated that the disabled were unfit for citizenship and posed a menace to the peace, and thus recommended a program of custodial care. Furthermore, the Commission desired to prevent the intermixing of the genes of those imprisoned with the general population. During this time, the mentally insane and the epileptic patients began dying from suicide or killing each other. Some of the patients even said they seen demons or apparitions that would tell them to kill themselves or others. In the months of July through October of 1913, American priests became involved with Pennhurst, performing blessing and exorcisms... However, that only made things worse.
In 1939, Pennhurst began taking in people who were physically disfigured and the soldiers who were affected by the war, thus making the asylum's population rise to 3,569 patients. This only angered the alleged spirits. During this time, Pennhurst was flooded with patients and there wasn't enough nurses or orderly to help everyone. Sanitation levels dropped and the food was limited to one meal a day. Many Patients died from sickness or the alleged spirits that have been said to roam the halls.
In 1980, a mass murder happened within Pennhurst halls, a mentally disturbed soldier had snapped and caused a riot. All the patients either killed each other or was already dead by sickness. A good mjority of the orderly died too, only a few survived the incident. Inevitably the Pennhurst Asylum had closed its doors for good.

Present time: You and a group of your close high school friends decide to go the Pennhurst Asylum during your summer break. There had been many rumors and dares that were said and given. You and your friends decide to go see if everything that was said is true. After all, the place is allegedly haunted. You also decide to bring cameras and any other equipment you may need to be able to stay here for a month or two. Hope you survive.

Rules:
~ This is a horror based rp, which means there are spirits. be realistic here. Ghosts can mess with you in many ways. they could scare you, possess you, harm you, or even kill you. They might just change you.
~ I will allow cursing and romance, just don't be a potty mouth and anything sexual goes to pm.
~ Remember your roles as high school students trying to catch paranormal phenomena.
~ I may allow players to be spirits, Just not yet. That being said, If I choose to let players be ghosts there will be a limited number. (This will be explained in the future.)
~ Age limits, again high school. 15-19
~ Realism, everyone brings food and money. Because pizza is nice every once in a while, plus you may need batteries. Also drugs and what not is cool too :D.
~ Injury/Death can happen so if your injured be real about it. Now death for now if you die you die, but if i do allow ghost and what not you will be pmed and you can contnue your character as a ghost. (Note may take a week at the most to fully decide, depending on how the rp goes.)
~ The Rp post will be in Chatzy, The OOC will be for chatting and the IC will be for the plot lines I make, and for others to suggest or tweak. Essentially we will agree on the plots and play them out. Each plot will consist of one day in the rp.
