Bio

Hello! Nice to see you, eh?

I'm Yami, a college student and sometimes decent artist heavily influenced by anime/manga styles. Um...I'm not that interesting, really. I do some cosplay stuff and can get really into anything that interests me enough, but that's about it.

I might be in a bit of a slump right now, actually. I'm looking for something really fascinating to pique my interest once again, help me get back into the swing of things. I'm into crazy fantasy situations, especially.

I agree that we probably do need the change. I'm pretty sure almost everyone's stuck right now.
Either way, as long as everyone knows what they're doing~.
"Oh? Care sharing that guess with me?"

"Um..." Tristyn felt a little unsure all of a sudden, the request making him want to second-guess himself out of the fear of getting it wrong after all and sounding ridiculous. No! Stop that, that's just you psyching yourself out again. It's not like it's a trick question, honestly! At least there was some part of his brain that was still reasonable, it seemed.

"It...is Elizabeth, isn't it? Did I remember it correctly?" He had only heard it a few times, and it had popped up in his research before he planned to go to the castle, but he had always wanted to hear her say it herself for some reason. Like the name itself wouldn't be real until she herself had said it.

...Maybe he was going crazy in this place.

"By the way, mind taking this conversation to somewhere more comfortable?"

"Oh! Of course!" The young man started to turn back to the garden entrance again before he remembered leaving the sandwiches on the bench. He was still hungry, after all. "We never ate...we can take this to the parlour or something, I suppose." After going back to the bench and picking up the tray, he started back inside once more.
"Hmmhmm. I doubt anyone here truly likes the doctor, even the staff. Not really much you can do when he legally and somehow financially has what seems to be total control, though." Lowering its voice a bit further until it was almost muttering, the hybrid continued. "I wonder if perhaps we'll see the sun more often as soldiers, however. I'd love to see a bit more than just the facility someday." Returning its voice to a normal volume, Acht hummed a bit and propped a hand under its chin. "I know it's probably not the favored topic, but do you know what activity might be next?"
@Cuddle Pot@XxLyraxX

The redhead accepted the offered help and rose a bit slowly, giving a shudder when the doctor mentioned ice. "Brr! I'd rather stay away from the freezy things if I can avoid it, but I'll keep it all in mind. Thanks, Doc!"

When the girl offered the band-aids and the bunny, Spinel couldn't have stopped the grin on his face if he tried. She was just too cute! Crouching down to her level again with a bit of care, he smiled a little more softly at Autumn. "Aw! Thanks, little Miss! I'll just give him a quick hug if that's alright." Gently taking the rabbit, he held it carefully near his face and nuzzled its cheek with his own before handing it back. "He does a good job; I feel a lot better already. I owe you both one for sure!"

@booksmusicanime

With the immediate crisis mostly taken care of, Spinel looked over to the girl who had been on the stairs from his position close to the floor again. "Ah, I forgot to apologize to you as well. I hope I didn't cause you any injury when I almost fell on you there. I really should have been paying more attention, shouldn't I have?"
@Song Book

Felice felt some form of slight irritation at being both labeled in a barely subtle way and pushed off on someone else as their problem because of that label. Rude! But not uncommon, he figured. It wasn't the first time for him, anyway, so no point in getting hyper over it now. It bothered him more to be spoken about rather than to due to his difference in speech. She hadn't even tried to speak directly to him the entire time, had she? At least he had made an effort to do so without giving anything away.

Looking back over at the burning girl, he raised an eyebrow at her question, trying to think whether or not he had made that clear before. Likely not, if she had to ask in the first place. "Piu ò meno. La lingue, si." (Pretty much "language-wise, yes".) He waited for another moment as she memorized the map before gesturing down the hall and speaking again. "Va bene? Andiamo?"
Ali was trying to figure out this skateboard thing. Sure, he could ride it up and down the street just fine, and it did make getting to classes from his house loads easier already, but he couldn't seem to manage even a single trick on it reliably. Not even the basics! I've had this thing for a good couple of months already and I still suck! What's wrong with me? He growled a bit as he stared down at it with a hand running through the mop of hazel brown hair on his head, recently messed up just right now that he had finished his classes for the day. He would have had another, but the professor for his other class for the day had canceled, leaving him with an extra few hours he hadn't planned for in the slightest.

Which was what led him to the currently empty skate park just a little ways off campus. It was a little surprising to him how unoccupied it was at the moment, but after the multiple failures he had already gone through, he couldn't be happier about the lack of activity all of a sudden. At least nobody would see him fall on his backside enough times for a comedy montage. The only downside was that he couldn't beg ask anyone better for help.

...Although, there was also the chance of being ridiculed for that as well...maybe this was better.

At least he had some bandages in his bag-- "Aw, heck! Did I forget to move them back to this bag?" He shifted through the black backpack he had pulled off the wall nearby for another second and groaned. He had started carrying them after another skateboard incident a while back, but figured he must have forgotten to put the container back after the last time he used one. He had actually just done something stupid while he was still at home that time, so they were probably on his desk...and not where he needed them.

Pouting a bit, he closed the bag and went back to the board again. Ah, well. Could be worse. I'll just have to deal with whatever other bumps and bruises I get until I get home. Maybe sneak through the back as well when I get there if I end up with a lot...

For now, let's try that Ollie again!
@Savi

Sorry, I forgot to ask earlier! About what time of the day should I assume it is in the IC? And is there a day of the week or should I just go with generic schedule information for the time being?
@BlackCat

Hearing some sort of mechanical movement somewhere down the hall brought Sonja out of his dizzy spell for a second just in time to see the barrels slowly poking out of the wall. Eyes widened, he turned again and almost shouted when he saw the door starting to close when Arc shoved him back into connecting the dots and the adrenaline kicked in.

Swiftly lifting the smaller girl and carrying her under one arm, he made a dash for the door, grateful that she had somehow thought to buy them some time with that knife. "Nope, nope, nope, nope, NOPE, NOPENOPENOPENOPE!" Even though he was moving more quickly than he thought he probably would have in any other situation, the distance seemed way too painfully long until he was already almost there and diving for the exit. "Scheisse! Get down and away!"
@KatherinWinter
Totally okay with a new day!

EDIT @KatherinWinter: We should probably do something about the two who just entered the orphanage when we move on as well. It might be a bit confusing if we don't send a nod in their direction before we do a time skip if that's what ends up happening.

Alternatively, is there a way @LovelyAnastasia and [@Technonik] could explain just finding their rooms after a time skip? Or should we come up with another plan to explain this?

Thoughts, anyone?
Everyone seemed to already be starting to mingle, but Kido still seemed to be in a bit of a daze. He had sort of...maybe spaced out a little when the activity had reached a higher level and wasn't really sure what was going on anymore. People seemed to be doing pretty well with meeting new friends and finding out where to go, though, so that was probably a good thing. He had heard the counselors announce that the cabin assignments were on the doors of the cabins, however, so he decided that maybe he should take care of putting his bag away before he started socializing. It wasn't that he was putting it off, just staying organized! Right...?

Shrugging, he forgot his previously unanswered question and quickly skipped off to the cabins and began looking immediately for his name among the assigned cabins. "I know that it's one of these...maybe over there?"
