Dang I missed a bit. Were my other characters accepted?
After the Lee thing ya guys wanna TS to the nex day?
the Lee thing is over with anyway really. He's gonna start working on putting together a group for a heist....eventually :p
Or at least Lee did until a floating ball of energy stopped right in front of him. Sure enough in close pursuit of the orb was none other than the proper owner of the book. Welp Lee just broke Thieving Rule No.1: NEVER. GET. CAUGHT. With a small smile Lee chuckled a bit raising his hands up in defeat. "Ok ok you got me." He said before reaching into his coat and removing Kat's book.
Flood had made his way out of the vents and burst out of the locker room with multiple wounds on him. "Adrenaline! Yeah!" He yelled as he ran around with an insane amount of energy. He saw a suspicious looking fellow with a hood and then a magical orb began followers my him. "Gotcha." Flood pulled out a gun and aimed it at Lee. He then saw the book. He recognized it as Kat's and he began formulating a plan. He noted his escape route, a nearby window, and looked at Lee. He mouthed the words, "Toss me the book."
It didn't take too long for Lee to be found as the orb sped faster the nearer they got. She arrived at the same time as Flood, watching as he drew his gun and Lee reached for the book. "Stop!" She shouted to the both of them, holding up her hands as if to freeze them in place. "You," she said, pointing at Flood, "put the gun away, I don't look innocent when you're waving that around. And you," now pointing to Lee, "I have reason not to trust you. I step forward to take back the book and then what?" Because the trap someone like that sounds very much like something she would do, unfortunately for him. She may not be a thief, generally, but she knew how to play dirty.
"Alright. Let's all just calm down." Flood put away his gun and looked at Lee. "You know what to do man." He said to him.
"The only one whom should calm down is the one who pulled a gun as a response to seeing someone." Lee said politely slowly reaching to his back and removing his collapsed staff before dropping it onto the ground and kicking it away. "You did good Kat." Lee said with the grin forming back on his face. "You seemed to have followed the curiosity well. Most people would have given up the first five minutes in." he said reaching into his jacket and removing her book. "Now what happens next is I step forward and place this back in your hands." He said taking the step forward before doing exactly as he said returning the book to its owner. "Though the question of the matter is....you probably send me flying into a wall now don't you?" He asked the grin never leaving his face as he spoke.
Have my other two characters been approved?
Lee was moving quick and quiet through the crowd of students. Some of which were soaked and complaining about how some idiot set off the sprinklers while fleeing from the local demigod...wait did they say Kat was some kind of demigod? Some were agreeing commenting how either brave or stupid someone was to bug a daughter of Loki no less. Oh crap whoever this Loki was did not sound good at all. Well no matter he still had the advantage!
TROLOLOLOLOL
-Five Minutes Earlier- "By the way...." Lee said slowly taking a step back. "Did I tell you my rule no. 3?" Lee asked taking yet another step back the grin on his face still visible beneath is dark hood. "Improvise!" with a twirl of his staff he slammed one of the ends resembling a wrench down causing both ends of the weapon to suddenly release its smoke bombs. Plumes of thick dark smoke quickly filled the hallway startling some of the students present watching the scene. Good the scene was now completely covered in smoke. With the students moving about in confusion he had to work quick. Pushing the door open wide enough to look suspicious. Before swinging his staff at the vent knocking the grate off and allowing it to hang by one screw. With his work done Lee quickly and silently began his next move as the sprinklers went off the sound of his staff retracting was heard with it being returned to his back. -Present Time- "Crap" He muttered under his breath struggling to return the book back into his coat. Being thin had its advantages but it still sucked being trapped in such a tight space dripping wet. At least on the bright side the book was not damaged nor even damp thanks to the inside lining of his coat. Then he heard it, sounded like something had just infiltrated the vent systems. "Time to go." He realized suddenly before something that he would not prefer to happen to him. Ever so gently Lee opened the door to the locker near where he used the smoke bomb. He had been hiding inside it the entire time while the others took the bait and left the scene. Thieving Rule No. 4: Always create a distraction. Even if it meant for his distractions to have distractions. Kat took the bait and entered the classroom and by the sound of things she's not even on this floor anymore. Though he didn't expect several others to join in on the hunt oh well that makes it even more fun. Pulling his hood down to look less suspicious Lee took his leave from the hallway. "Now to go the one place they would never dare to look." he said already pleased with how this was going. Slipping down the stairs Lee made his way to the ground floor.
Name: Alexander Von Doom Gender: Male Age: 22 Parents: Dr. Doom and Morgan le Fay (this is an actual pairing from the comics. Let the unholy shipping begin!!) Powers: Affinity for magic. Currently capable of magic bolt attacks, astral projection, and can cast minor illusions. That's it though Alex will be capable of developing more with time. Bio: It was a secret, her final weapon against HIM. During Dr. Doom's visit to the past to further increase his studies of the arcane arts he had a brief romance with the infamous sorceress Morgan le Fay. After parting on bad terms Morgan realized she was carrying his children. One would become her daughter Caroline and her son Alexander. After travelling to the future for revenge and before failing and being sealed away she left Alex at a modern day orphanage in Doom's country of Lavertia with nothing but a name and book written in runes none could understand. For many years Alex grew up away from the other children. Preferring to keep to himself and read the few books he could scrounge under the oppression of Doom's reign. Barely fed and continuously harassed by both the oppression law enforcement and the fellow orphans Alex secluded himself to within the pages of his book. At first the words made no sense but as he grew older the strange runes began to process within his mind. And upon his 18 birthday and release from the Orphanage the book revealed the truth to Alex. He was the son of the man that was responsible for this miserable existence. Vengance that was all Alex wanted now. After smuggling himself out of Laveteria, Alex began to travel the world studying the arcane arts and improve his intellect. Now Alex's travels have brought him to the Academy. Here he will begin his plans to deal with his father. Appearance: Bears a resemblance to his father prior to Doom becoming disfigured. With a tan complexion, brown eyes, with dark brown hair combed back gives him somewhat of a gentleman look. However due to his travels and lack of funds he wears rough and worn clothes giving him somewhat of a poor look.
(This is a returning character) Name: Kaden Thorson Gender: Male Age: 20 Parents: Thor and a mortal woman (whom Kaden later learned once wielded the Witchblade) Powers: As a demigod Kaden possess enhanced speed, strength and durability. An example of this was when Kaden was hit square in the face with Mjolnir and was only knocked out cold (though it did give him a headache for a week). Kaden also possess a spell that allows him to summon and dismiss an item he is holding into an armory which whereabouts are unknown. This spell has strict limitations however. Kaden can only store something with equal or less total mass to his own. Plus he needs to make direct physical contact with the item in order to dismiss it. Kaden uses this spell to summon his sword which serves as his main weapon. Utilizing his sword like Thor would with his hammer. Kaden can summon the power of lighting down. However due to little training and understanding it is no where near as powerful as his father capable of generating. Kaden's greatest power however would be his charisma and ability to form a quick strategy. In the past Kaden was capable of rallying various Academy students behind him and work as a makeshift team of sorts. Utilizing each of their abilities to help compensate for each other which helped them out of several situations. Bio: Born the son to the God of Thunder and a mortal woman who once wielded a weapon of pure chaos, Kaden was at first ignorant to his Asgardian heritage. Due to the circumstances of both parent's history Kaden remained on Earth and was raised by his mother whom had renounced the use of the Witchblade upon learning of her pregnancy. For the first 17 years of his life he grew up as an average child. Until one tragic day that forever changed his life. Angels from the banished Tenth Realm known as Heven were searching for the Witchblade and tracked it to its last user. Injured and unable to help Kaden watched as his mother refused to talk before the Angels slaughtered her before him. Enraged by her death Kaden's demigod abilities awakened. Kaden blamed his father for his mother's death for never appearing when they needed Thor most and as a result it caused a mental block within Kaden's mind hampering his powers as a demigod of Thunder. With no where else to go Kaden enrolled at the Academy a few years back and began to work on both coming to terms with his mother's death and forgiving his father. After a few years at the Academy, Kaden managed to gain some control over his powers before catching wind of the Witchblade appearing off world. After saying a few goodbyes to friends he made, Kaden departed to locate his mother's weapon to find it before the agents of Heven could. Its been two years since that day and now Kaden has returned to Midgar with a few more years of experience and a little wiser (hopefully) with his mission done Kaden wishes to continue studying at the Academy to help undo the remainder of his mental block. Appearance: Kaden looks much like his father with the exception of short dark brown hair and deep blue eyes. Upon returning to the Academy Kaden now has more visible muscles from his adventures and it has given him a lean manly look. Clothes wise Kaden does have a set of Asgardian enchanted robes but has chosen to revert back to Earth Attire unless his other attire is needed. On earth he wears jeans, a red shirt, and a dark leather jacket. Fun Fact: Kaden despite Kat's intial protests considers her like a sister/cousin and cares for her deeply. While Kat may not want his concerns he will not hesitate to help her out of a tough situation. Kaden does not care who or what she is, and to him she's Kat and that's all he cares about.
As Kat and Nicholas entered the classroom they would find it was a history classroom pertaining to the recorded past of the heroes and villains of the past. However right now the room was vacant and didn't pertain any real signs of someone being inside resent. Save for the slightly open closet door and several of the open windows. Not to mention the classroom also connected to the ones next to it on both sides via a door which was unlocked. Meanwhile as Flood traversed the ventilation system the young prodigal son of Deadpool would find his route splitting into two paths. One to the left which would lead him to the lower floors where the locker rooms were. While the right would keep him on the same level. Lee could not help but smile at this situaion. Here he thought this planet was going to be as boring as the orphanage he once grew up in. Oh no this was definitely not a disappointing second day on this...Earth was it? The Night Phantom's database called it Terra though. Oh whatever that didn't matter. Pulling the book free from his jacket Lee smiled looking at the old text. "I feel like I have seen you somewhere before my friend...." he whispered flipping through the pages for a moment. "but where?" He frowned, well nothing like a little appraising the loot while fleeing from his pursers. With that thought in mind Lee grinned eager to see how this little game would end. Though if everything went according to plan, Lee would be right where he wanted to be when this was over.
