Not long after the arrival of the Templars had chaos ensued, spells flew back and forth and demons were now coming out of the trees alongside the cultists. He withdrew his blade from the neck of it's most recent kill and looked around in the confusion, he saw one of the templars get bitten by one of the many demons and then a monstrosity of flesh and bone charged across his vision. With a growl he shoved past a cultist standing in his was as he retrieved his greatsword. "Enough of this" Turning back on the conflict he brought a hand up, a faint bluish glow in it for a second before he closed his fist, The resulting unnoticeable wave purged the magic from the area leaving cultists and templars alike to wonder why their spells no longer worked and anything being sustained by a magic link to fade away or crumble apart. with that he brought his sword up and cleaved aside to confused cultist and moved on the the next, driving the blade down into his spine.

Landeel's party was ambushed and you came across him.

"Yes I'm well aware that Starguard has fallen but we are hunting a different target, we cannot go searching for survivors" Landeel spoke calmly to one of the knights in his small hunting party. "but surly with more men our hu-" was all said knight could get out before an arrow was protruding from the left eyehole of his helmet and he fell backward into the snow. a crossbowman quickly dealt with the source of the arrow but the ambush had already been sprung, several cultists leapt upon the group seeing the death of most of Landeel's knights before the remaining few gained their composure for a defense. Landeel could see the creature leading them but the knights could reach him, they were surrounded, and sure enough his allies fell one-by-one around him.

Now, almost an hour later, he was standing in the middle of both Templar and cultist corpses, roaring like a madmen and half-drunk off all the blood as he swung his greatsword at his assailants, some of which were fearful of getting within his blade's reach. He almost mistook the Knight-captain's lightning for the cultist's, whirling around to see a group of templars had wandered into the fight. The welcome sight gave him a bit of a second wind as he turned back around backhanding a cultist with his gauntleted fist before hurling his greatsword like a javlin at another and drawing his shortsword.

Kieran sat back and tipped his head down slightly. He replayed the memory of the exam from the start till now, looking trying to find any detail of the password. He grew more frantic as he did and brought a hand up to his head with a groan at the discomfort his racing mind was bringing. it had started going through memories from before the exam, going on to one from before he even got to the school as he let his mind drift. Eventually a thought came to him, a memory of a small human looking up at it's parent. the parent had asked for 'the magic word' in much the same manner that the Fairy had said it. He never understood the gesture or the word but well...

"please?" he spoke slowly, tipping his head back up to see the fairy's response.
