Before I even finish reading I want to note that a STANDING military of 40,000 is extremely expensive and requires amazing amounts of upkeep (unless they are absolutely untrained and wielding pitchforks and sticks and are paid to do so), if you are aware of this I'll keep reading.

Cool, we have a Persia now. Though it's kinda weird reading about dynasties in your nation that share the same name as real life dynasties when you know who they were.

You can keep the number, just know it is expensive. Especially if it is standardized and uses top of the line equipment. It's possible, just be cautious.

I don't think it was so much that he had an issue with Pirapora's choice of inspiration, but rather that some of it seemed less like inspiration and more like just taking the real thing and slapping a new name on it.

Well, I've already changed it anyway. If it still looks like I'm ripping off some ancient religion too blatantly then it was completely unintentional
