It's been 2 weeks with not even a drop in to tell us he's still around. I call it a bust. Idk how much he told the co-gms. But I hope it's enough to keep us afloat..

ravenDivinity and I are well-equipped to keep the game running on our own. We both have a good idea of the direction of the RP, and should Transience return, he trusts us and our ability well enough to accept where we take the game in his absence.

Concern thyselves more with regaining the attention of your fellow players, whom I fear to have largely abandoned the RP.

It's always sad when God calls a child home. But in the case of Transience here, I'm not so sad. Nice guy, smoked too much, whatever. So to Transience - nice knowing you, see you later.

As much as it pains me to bid Crow and the rest of the cast farewell, I'm thinking I may have to resign. My muse for my uppity lesbian pirate is fickle, and it's probably for the best I don't risk slowing everyone down.

I have to say, I'm not finding much inspiration for this right now. While I enjoy Elowen very much, I just don't see her getting along with others at the current moment. I guess in a way, the group kind of felt jaded in the first place the more I saw posts and now that so many left, it seems even more so. I've always hated the 'strike on your own' type of group RPs, which this has almost become. It's like Superhero RPs - love them to death, but it gets boring just writing your own story and having limited interaction with others... yes, I recgonize Elowen could visit anyone, but... really, what reason do half of these legendary figures have for banding together? They're all out for them and theirs it seems... lol.

I guess what I'm saying is... I'm iffy if I'm staying or not, leaning towards calling it quits. It's certainly nothing personal towards anyone here, of course and I hope no one feels that way. ^.^

I agree that character interaction has been a bit of a stumbling block for the RP thus far, but if it factors into your decision, the efforts of we tge GMs are currently dedicated to guiding the plot so that the characters meet up and form groups of two or three. This is vital for the next stage of the plot.

Elowen herself has a free ticket to begin interacting with any character of her choosing.

@lydyn Well we are still in the beginning phase technically. Not even Into the meat of it yet. The characters were just getting situated into the world and defining how they would interact with their environments.

I think a big part of why that went on so long is that there was just SO MANY people in the mix. When there's a new "hey here I am give me something to do" post in every round, its hard to progress. I think if the amount of people we have now sticks around, we can truly get underway. And man, am I looking forward to that!

I mean, the bar for this one is set way high. The dedication the players put into their work has been staggering as well. Everyone was excited because the concept was solid, and the execution was extraordinary. Sure its a shame that our GM peaced-out, but the dedication of the people that are still around is evident. We just have to keep pushing forward.

I mean really, what story is the best at the beginning?

All right, I'll try and keep on, but I have no clue who I'd want to interact with at the moment... I actually don't even know who's truly active anymore? Even the new players haven't posted, so... lol. Some direction might be nice? :)
