Quick question: Do the rebels live in the villages as spies, or do they have their own base?
Yes and yes. Rebels have several makeshift bases of operation, but for the most part individuals have their identities preserved and merely pretend to be allied with the Confederation. The smart rebels that don't get caught are the ones that don't seem like they are rebels. There are some, however, who can be considered "career" rebels whose identities have been found out so they don't hang around the cities unless they are on a mission or soon will be.

His lack of dedication, and methodical lifestyle is simply a byproduct of his mental lethargy. Zay is capable- Far more capable than most would like to admit, but his motivation does not match his potential. When speaking on his terms, rested and free of responsibility, Zay's speech is refined, polite, and he is very attentive to detail. In most cases however, Zay does not consider himself very 'rested' and acts completely aloof, purposely insulting the intelligence of others, and showing minimal interest in serious discussion. His attitude often causes conflict between him and his peers, making his life even harder than he already perceives it, and perpetually forcing himself into a downward spiral.
That being said, Zay perceives life itself as less than noteworthy, quoted as claiming the human heartbeat to be 'The body's most monotonous chore' on more than one occasion. Questions regarding his history or opinions on the general status of the Shinobi world are often met with a ballad of anecdotal references, and depressing metaphors that tend highlight the negative aspects of, well, being alive. Due to his seemingly infinite disdain towards basically everything, most perceive Zay as an angst ridden peon who cares nothing of his friends, family, or own well being. However, nothing could be farther from the truth. Nice and killjoy.
Despite what his nihilistic charade would suggest, he's a particularly caring individual that places tremendous importance on not only his own well-being, but that of all living things, and more importantly, the freedom they are entitled to. There's nothing more important to him than the heart that keeps him standing, and by extension, the people that give it the courage to beat freely. However, Zay prioritizes himself over all others. He claims that he would never risk his life, even if it were for the safety of a loved one. Truth be told, his attitude keeps him from actually developing any strong relationships, and his known family has been dead for years. Still, he considers his allies precious, and will do everything he can to keep their heart's beating if it doesn't put his life at serious risk. pussy
One could infer that Zay purposely distances himself from others to avoid the responsibility the coincides with friendship and romance, but since he is awfully secretive about his personal affairs, nobody's really be able to pry a solid explanation from his iron-hard brain-case. Wouldn't it be silver-hard?
【History】
Zay's life started off rich with love and wealth. Born in Iwagakure, Zay lived out his infant years in the care of his mother and father, both of whom had little respect for the Hamajō Confederation. This disrespect quickly blossomed into action when Zay's mother, Ikomi Tetsuba, allied herself with the Red Sages and put her family in immediate danger. Although her husband supported the haphazardous decision she'd made, his sister Tskia did not appreciate seeing her nephew put in harms way. Before he turned 3, Tskia Tetsuba stole Zay away from his father and fled Iwagakure to raise him in hiding. Not a year later, Tskia had received knowledge that both her brother and his wife were killed, having been revealed as supporters of the red sages.
Gonna have to interject here. Zay is 21 years old, so these events were 18 years ago. The Hamajo Confederation didn't complete it's campaign until only 11 years ago, but it also only started 15 years ago. It kinda came out of nowhere, something that will be elaborated upon at a later date. Gonna suggest you tweak this area to fit the timeline but otherwise I have no complaint.
Tskia rose Zay as her own, treating him as the son she'd never had, and teaching him the basis of his family's ninjutsu. Even so, Zay was one to question every minute detail behind the lessons he'd received. this often lead to questions regarding the Tetsuba Clan, and by extension, his parents. Of course, Tskia was never at liberty to reveal much to Zay, in fear he'd adopt his parent's ideals, putting himself in immediate danger. Due to the secrecy that enveloped his training, Zay didn't take to his aunt's lessons very kindly, and instead spent all of his time training himself in the art of silver Release with his aunt's wisdom as a very loose basis.
At the age of 17, around the time that Zay had achieved the rank of Chuunin, Tskia had fallen fatally ill, and was home-bound. Although it was difficult, Zay was forced to support both himself and his aunt on what little money he could earn through the few missions he was approved for. Ultimately, Tskia passed away, leaving Zay to fend for himself. On her death bed, Tskia told Zay of his parents and their fate, along with the history of their family. Although he didn't change the way he behaved, his aunt's death, and his family's history took a serious toll on his inner thoughts, and changed the way he looked at life, and death. Zay, without a mentor, continued to develop his silver release on his own.
Zay now spends his time conducting missions as a registered shinobi. When he isn't on assignments, sleeping, or training his jutsu, Zay spends all of his time outside, walking outside city limits as much as he can. That's a good way to get on the watch list. lel

Silver release allows members of the Tetsuba Clan to mold fire and Earth chakra natures into a shimmering metallic liquid, hence the name 'silver release'. This substance can be used in a plethora of different ways using subsequent jutsu as long as the user's chakra remains infused inside of the liquid, but without proper concentration, it is impossible to do much more than move it along the ground at a snails pace. It is also impossible to control this liquid if it travels more than 15 yards away from the user. If any of this substance leaves the user's 15 yard radius, whether it is in solid or liquid form, will quickly dissolve into raw chakra. Users can also reabsorb this liquid to replenish their chakra pool with diminished return. Due to these limitations, silver release users are not very mobile, and instead rely on the agility and durability of their jutsu.
Okay, so he can create liquid silver and manipulate existing silver. Can he absorb silver that he didn't create himself?
In use, the silver liquid acts as a base for several techniques. The most common application is consuming opponents in range and smothering them to death. It can however be hardened to create temporary weapons with very high Chakra affinity, large scale attacks, barriers, armor, and various mechanisms relative to the user's knowledge of the technology they are trying to mimic. More advanced users of Silver release can sense the presence of other living things within their pool as long as they are connect by a constant stream of chakra, coat their entire body in an armor that removes their sense of sight and hearing but makes them nearly impervious to physical assaults, temporarily patch wounds by fusing the liquid with their skin, heat the liquid to boiling temperatures, and in very rare cases, transfer their body instantaneously from one section of their puddle to another with a delayed reemergence. It's rumored that certain Tetsuba could create golden, Copper, and even mercury based liquid metals, but nothing has been confirmed, and their lineage runs so thin that it's difficult to confirm or deny such rumors. tbh copper would be the best to have. Most durable, most conductive, so on and so forth.
Members of the Tetsuba Family are known to have very pale skin, reflective white hair, and silver blood. These effects appear to be purely cosmetic and otherwise have no effect on their biology whatsoever. Pretty sure silver blood affects the biology. What with red blood cells and whatever. But this isn't real life, it's just fantasy. And I'm just being a dick by bringing it up. Oh well.
Tetsuba Shinobi
Strengths:
Ray's mastery of Silver release is exceptional, and it wouldn't come as a surprise considering he does not practice any ninjutsu that would not coincide with his Kekkei Genkai.
At his current mastery, Ray can keep a constant pool of Silver going at the full 15 yards from his body for a considerable pretty vague term there, but I'm gonna guess it means upwards of 10 minutes amount of time before it begins to strain his Chakra reserves. His mid-close range combat is unmatched in many scenarios, disallowing easy movement within his radius without immediate danger. His liquid can nullify most wind natured ninjutsu, protect against some earth/water/fire natured ninjutsu, and offer substantial protection from most forms of attacks when hardened en-masse. Ray's agility with his silver allows him to cast jutsu in quick succession, giving the liquid considerable agility when he is focused. You said Ray a few times when you meant Zay. fix plz
Weaknesses:
Without a ready supply of silver, Ray is practically defenseless, only able to conjure weapons and small short-range projectile type jutsu quickly enough to defend himself. Even with a pool at the ready, Zay is incapable of firing ranged attacks outside of his range effectively. His mobility with the pool is also very slow, and he cannot travel long distances without being encumbered by his jutsu. While channeling a substantial pool of silver, Ray require immense concentration, disallowing him to move his body too quickly at risk of his entire jutsu falling apart momentarily. If he is forced to dodge, or struck by anything that would interrupt his concentration, any hardened liquid could instantaneously melt back down into liquid form, and any silver under his control will fall back into his pool, including any weapons or armor he's equipped himself with. Additionally, his silver is highly-conductive, allowing lightning-natured jutsu to travel effortlessly along the entire expanse of the pool as long as it is connected, or close enough to allow a current to travel throughout. Certain Lightning-natured Jutsu can also pierce through any solidified silver effortlessly, and even destroy portions of his liquid. Conjuring the liquid, albeit quick, also requires an initial Chakra dump that nearly drains Zay of half his energy. Additionally, Zay can only sustain a pool for about 10 minutes called it before he runs out of energy, assuming he rations his chakra sparingly.
I'm okay with this. It's basically like what Gaara had but with different strengths and weaknesses such as range or durability. Just make sure to address my note on absorbing silver.

Masato is an average looking individual, he isn't one of those that could easily be picked out a crowd. He stands right around 5'9 and weighs 140 lbs. His choice of clothing also isn't unique, aside from the Chuunin vest that he wears at all times he is dressed in plain t-shirts that vary in color from white to slightly darker white and dark gray jeans. In colder weather he will wear the jacket that is seen above.

Once he entered school Masato excelled for quite some time, partially due to his parents tutoring him at home during this time. However when he reached the age of 10 and was given the chance to graduated it was pulled away from him. While initially the school thought it would be fine to push him forward they soon discovered that his taijutsu was not up to the task and he ended up having to go through another year of school before progressing. This set back discouraged him for a time, but this vanished shortly once his parents began to teach him their Hiden jutsu moveset. His last year at this level of schooling went by quickly as much of his time outside of it was spent learning his family's signature jutsu.
While he had been at the top of his class during his younger years he fell behind a bit when he advanced to the next level, though that had nothing to do with the material being too dificult. More and more of his time was being devoted to his extracurricular studies and he simply didn't have time to do all of the work assigned to him. This naturally lead him to falling out of his position at the top but he did not care in the slightest, nor did his parents since he was progressing through their training at a rapid pace. He ended up graduating at the age of 15 and was promoted to the rank of Chunnin as expected.
Since then he has divided his time between taking on missions and furthering his control and skill with his jutsu, with much more attention being given to the latter.

As the name implies the Shieldbearer Construct is a defense construct that's primary goal is to defend Masato. They come equipped with a large shield and heavy armor. This naturally upsets their movement speed making them the slowest of the base constructs. They have very high defense against blunt force attacks and reasonable defense against piercing ones, however either can destroy them if they land on an unarmored/low armored area though the piercing is more likely to do so. These areas are the same you would find in most armors, the joints, the neck, and the eyes. Given their defensive specialization they have no method of dealing damage.

In addition he can only use the initial 6 Drill Sergeants at most, he can not use them to control additional Drill Sergeants. The construct itself is between the Footsoldier and the Shieldbearer in terms of defense, it wears no armor but is highly durable. It would take two blows that would be fatal to a human to destroy it, or 4 in non lethal locations. Of course this can be decreased to one if it loses it's head.

With his armor and durability it takes seven solid hits to destroy him, but like most of the others this can be circumvented. In the Case of The General if he is his directly in the eye he will either be disabled or completely destroyed.

@Partisan@Savato@j8cobWell, here Akio 11 years later. . .the years and her creator have not been kind to her. Bumped her up to jounin, gave her some added jutsu, of which only the S rank could be a problem. I tried to balance it out, but not sure I succeeded.

Akio has grown into her own over the years, bearing a much more mature and professional air. Her golden eyes now bear a guarded, almost emotionless gaze to them, and while she has cut her hair to a much shorter length than before, she still kept the fringes of her hair dyed black as reminder of her clan. She stands at about 5'10, with a slightly above average bust and a hourglass figure to match, making her quite the attractive woman. The only major detractors would be the multitude of scars that cover her body, earned through either combat or training, though the most notable would be three caw marks that make their way down the right side of her face, a parting gift from a giant tiger whose head she had turned into one of those chairs that hang from the ceiling.
Akio's casual wear tends to be a sleeveless turtleneck sweaters with a pair of matching jeans. Her shoes differ from low heels to regular running sneakers, depending on the activities she plans to do that day. On a mission, she'll wear a modified version of the Konoha flak jacket that's black in color and has a hood on it, a black turtle neck with long sleeves, and the standard shinobi pants and sandals. She also wears a pair of gloves that leave the thumb and first two fingers uncovered, so that they don't interfere with her archery.

Description: After making the needed hand seals, Akio conjures up a concentrated inferno of blazing heat, focusing it over her palm. It'll take a post for this jutsu to charge up, but when it does the flames will take on a egg-like shape as Akio thrusts her hand out to launch it at her foes. Upon impact with an object, the egg will explode with a huge amount of force and intense white hot heat. The radius of the explosion would be somewhere between 5-10m, though the intense heat can be felt from much farther away, burning skin, drying up moisture in the air, and causing fatigue through dehydration if an enemy is caught near the edge of the blast.
The explosion itself takes the form of a phoenix rising high into the sky. The flames that the explosion created will stay for about 2 posts, however, the heat lessening by a great deal until it finally fizzes out. At this point, Aoi can use this jutsu with little strain, upping her usage to about 6 times before it starts to take it's toll.
Seiteki Suji no Jutsu (Static Strings Technique)

Description: This skill allows the user to create strings of electricity that can either act physically as strings, or as a medium that can send small shocks to an opponent. One of this technique's most useful features is its ability to allow the user to detect outsiders. When the strings are placed around an area, they are often fairly difficult to see, and unnoticed by the quick eye. But when the string is used to detect outsiders, they can adapt a quality that is string-like and electrical at the same time. This quality makes the static strings into a string of electricity, but with such a weak current that it is rarely noticed by Shinobi who accidentally walk through the strings. However, when this happens, the user at once will feel a small shock in their fingers, or where ever else they are keeping the strings intact. But unless the opponent felt the weak current as they walked through the strings, the opponent will usually never know the strings were there. But beyond its ability to detect outsiders, this skill can be used as a normal string when it is needed but none is around, or it can be used to create small shocks to other people. However, the shocks are only a little bit stronger than static electricity, and usually do no damage at all.

Description: Akio forms a bow out of lightning chakra, from which she can draw back and fire bolts of electricity from, the amount of power dealt depending on how long she holds it for. A quick draw only does a low-medium amount of damage and has no lingering effects. A Charged shot, which takes about 1 post to form up, does a fair deal more damage and will leave the target temporarily stunned if direct contact is made. The charged shot can also be split into four homing shots, which'll lock onto the opponents chakra signature. These only do slightly more damage than a quick shot on their own, but if all three hit the same target, then the damage can be even greater than a charged shot and can explode out to damage foes within a meter of the target.
Akio can now fire a detonation shot with a charged up bolt, which is less powerful overall, but can paralyze a whole group of individual for a few moments. She can also create a piercing shot, which has more focused electrical energy for more power and damage, but has reduced ranged as well, only being able to go about half as far as a normal charged shot. The piercing shot can pierce through most standards armors and defensive jutsu of equal rank or lower, not including elemental weakness into play, in which it can probably partially get through lower A-rank Earth Style Jutsu and be halted by upper C rank Wind Style jutsu.
Static strings can be attached to the quick fire shots, so that if they hit, the user can hold the foe in place by running a constant stream of electricity through it, locking her muscles in place. If this is done, neither Akio nor the target can move so it's not a good move for one on one, but good for lining up holding an enemy in place for another teammate to take down.
Edit: Through training, Akio has managed to work down the weakness of her static strings down so that only one of her limbs is paralyzed and not her whole body, meaning that she won't be able to form jutsu while holding a foe down, but she can still move, dodge attacks, and counterattack reasonable well, though she still has to be able to keep some focus on the connection while moving, or else it'll break, thus she won't be able to move as fast as she normally could.
Katon: Myaku Hitofuki no Jutsu (Fire Release: Pulse Blast Technique)

Description: An extremely useful jutsu, this one has the effect of flushing out or separating multiple opponents. Hurling a fireball about the size of a basketball, it is meant to be dodged in order to be effective. For at center of this fireball is a gaseous core which, when the spherical attack finally makes contact with something, will explode and this gas will expand rapidly in a loud bang. The bang is simply a precursor though, as instantly afterwards a sharp concussive force will issue out all around the center of the blast. Though the explosion of the attack itself is not very strong, the force it sends out is enough to knock anyone who is within a certain radius of it flying.
Katon: Kudakasei no Jutsu (Fire Release: Shatter Force Technique)

Description:
Built upon the principles of Katon: Myaku Hitofuki no Jutsu, this technique instead acts as a much more powerful, centralized version. Gathering heat in between both hands the user focuses it until it cannot be condensed further. Manifested as a sphere of raw, glowing energy it is at first held at bay as if only for show. Then, given any cue, the user slams the sphere into the ground, causing it to explode with the power of pure heat behind it. The user is unaffected by this burst of power, but anyone within the radius of the blast suffers some unsettling consequences alongside the devastating concussive force it sends forth. This technique, by sheer strength alone, has even been known to crack boulders. Separate effects of the jutsu are that the intense heat dehydrates any opponents caught within the radius of the blast, drawing them closer to fatigue, blurring their vision and causing mild headaches all the while. Minor, first-degree burns may also result from this technique.

A Variant of the Lightning Armor Jutsu, this jutsu cloaks the Akio in an intense aura of electricity that takes the form of phoenix around them. While under the influence of this jutsu, Akio's speed, reaction time, and physical attack power gains a substantial increase, though not to the level that is seen by users of the original technique, as well as boosting the power of her Raiton jutsu, thus negating the charge up of her more power Thunder bow attacks. She can also up her mobility on the battlefield by gliding and hovering in the air for short periods of times using the wings this jutsu gives her, though she has yet to achieve true flight using this technique. Finally, the wings can also be formed into a defensive wall at a moments notice, incase she's targeted by an attack she can't dodge, but they can only block a single attack of up to A-rank in power, and Wind Style jutsu of Mid A-rank and higher will always be able to partially get through these defenses. Once the attack has been blocked, the wings will disperse and Akio will spend the remainder of the jutsu's duration moving at a reduced speed compared to before, though still noticeably faster than her base speed, as well as no longer being able to hover or glide due to the loss of her wings.
This jutsu duration is for about 6 posts, though it can be lengthened to up to 9 by feeding more chakra into it, though this worsens the drawback once the jutsu ends. After the base duration runs out, her entire body will become numb and cause her speed and reaction time to drop as a result. This lasts for about three posts, but if she lengthened it, it can lengthen to about 6 posts and only allows her to move at a third of her base speed. If she tries to go over that limit, though possible, it will result in her body becoming completely paralyzed, as well as the obvious threat of chakra exhaustion.

Tatsuya is tall at around 6'2, and has a rather muscular upper body due to his work in the forge. His hands and arms are covered with numerous scars, burns and callouses due to the work he does every day, but he wears them with pride as they are the symbol of all his hard work. His red eyes come from his father, and shiny red hair comes from his mother. He also has a tattoo on his upper right arm of Ketsui lodged in the mouth of an active volcano. He got it the day he became a Genin as a symbol to never forget the determination it took to get him there, so that no matter how long the road to greatness looked, he'd never give up.
His normal clothing style is usually a plain white T-shirt, some jeans and steel toed boots( a nessecity in his profession). He sometimes where a jacket if it;s cold enough for one, but more often than not, that's it for his casual wear. His combat outfit is a black, long sleeve shirt, a jacket over that, black combat pants and shinobi sandals.

Description: After making the needed hand seals, Akio conjures up a concentrated inferno of blazing heat, focusing it over her palm. It'll take a post for this jutsu to charge up, but when it does the flames will take on a egg-like shape as Akio thrusts her hand out to launch it at her foes. Upon impact with an object, the egg will explode with a huge amount of force and intense white hot heat. The radius of the explosion would be somewhere between 5-10m, though the intense heat can be felt from much farther away, burning skin, drying up moisture in the air, and causing fatigue through dehydration if an enemy is caught near the edge of the blast.
The explosion itself takes the form of a phoenix rising high into the sky. The flames that the explosion created will stay for about 2 posts, however, the heat lessening by a great deal until it finally fizzes out. At this point, Aoi can use this jutsu with little strain, upping her usage to about 6 times before it starts to take it's toll.
Seiteki Suji no Jutsu (Static Strings Technique)

Description: This skill allows the user to create strings of electricity that can either act physically as strings, or as a medium that can send small shocks to an opponent. One of this technique's most useful features is its ability to allow the user to detect outsiders. When the strings are placed around an area, they are often fairly difficult to see, and unnoticed by the quick eye. But when the string is used to detect outsiders, they can adapt a quality that is string-like and electrical at the same time. This quality makes the static strings into a string of electricity, but with such a weak current that it is rarely noticed by Shinobi who accidentally walk through the strings. However, when this happens, the user at once will feel a small shock in their fingers, or where ever else they are keeping the strings intact. But unless the opponent felt the weak current as they walked through the strings, the opponent will usually never know the strings were there. But beyond its ability to detect outsiders, this skill can be used as a normal string when it is needed but none is around, or it can be used to create small shocks to other people. However, the shocks are only a little bit stronger than static electricity, and usually do no damage at all.

Description: Akio forms a bow out of lightning chakra, from which she can draw back and fire bolts of electricity from, the amount of power dealt depending on how long she holds it for. A quick draw only does a low-medium amount of damage and has no lingering effects. A Charged shot, which takes about 1 post to form up, does a fair deal more damage and will leave the target temporarily stunned if direct contact is made. The charged shot can also be split into four homing shots, which'll lock onto the opponents chakra signature. These only do slightly more damage than a quick shot on their own, but if all three hit the same target, then the damage can be even greater than a charged shot and can explode out to damage foes within a meter of the target.
Akio can now fire a detonation shot with a charged up bolt, which is less powerful overall, but can paralyze a whole group of individual for a few moments. She can also create a piercing shot, which has more focused electrical energy for more power and damage, but has reduced ranged as well, only being able to go about half as far as a normal charged shot. The piercing shot can pierce through most standards armors and defensive jutsu of equal rank or lower, not including elemental weakness into play, in which it can probably partially get through lower A-rank Earth Style Jutsu and be halted by upper C rank Wind Style jutsu.
Static strings can be attached to the quick fire shots, so that if they hit, the user can hold the foe in place by running a constant stream of electricity through it, locking her muscles in place. If this is done, neither Akio nor the target can move so it's not a good move for one on one, but good for lining up holding an enemy in place for another teammate to take down.
Edit: Through training, Akio has managed to work down the weakness of her static strings down so that only one of her limbs is paralyzed and not her whole body, meaning that she won't be able to form jutsu while holding a foe down, but she can still move, dodge attacks, and counterattack reasonable well, though she still has to be able to keep some focus on the connection while moving, or else it'll break, thus she won't be able to move as fast as she normally could.

Description: An extremely useful jutsu, this one has the effect of flushing out or separating multiple opponents. Hurling a fireball about the size of a basketball, it is meant to be dodged in order to be effective. For at center of this fireball is a gaseous core which, when the spherical attack finally makes contact with something, will explode and this gas will expand rapidly in a loud bang. The bang is simply a precursor though, as instantly afterwards a sharp concussive force will issue out all around the center of the blast. Though the explosion of the attack itself is not very strong, the force it sends out is enough to knock anyone who is within a certain radius of it flying.

Description:
Built upon the principles of Katon: Myaku Hitofuki no Jutsu, this technique instead acts as a much more powerful, centralized version. Gathering heat in between both hands the user focuses it until it cannot be condensed further. Manifested as a sphere of raw, glowing energy it is at first held at bay as if only for show. Then, given any cue, the user slams the sphere into the ground, causing it to explode with the power of pure heat behind it. The user is unaffected by this burst of power, but anyone within the radius of the blast suffers some unsettling consequences alongside the devastating concussive force it sends forth. This technique, by sheer strength alone, has even been known to crack boulders. Separate effects of the jutsu are that the intense heat dehydrates any opponents caught within the radius of the blast, drawing them closer to fatigue, blurring their vision and causing mild headaches all the while. Minor, first-degree burns may also result from this technique.

Description:
A Variant of the Lightning Armor Jutsu, this jutsu cloaks the Akio in an intense aura of electricity that takes the form of phoenix around them. While under the influence of this jutsu, Akio's speed, reaction time, and physical attack power gains a substantial increase, though not to the level that is seen by users of the original technique, as well as boosting the power of her Raiton jutsu, thus negating the charge up of her more power Thunder bow attacks. She can also up her mobility on the battlefield by gliding and hovering in the air for short periods of times using the wings this jutsu gives her, though she has yet to achieve true flight using this technique. Finally, the wings can also be formed into a defensive wall at a moments notice, incase she's targeted by an attack she can't dodge, but they can only block a single attack of up to A-rank in power, and Wind Style jutsu of Mid A-rank and higher will always be able to partially get through these defenses. Once the attack has been blocked, the wings will disperse and Akio will spend the remainder of the jutsu's duration moving at a reduced speed compared to before, though still noticeably faster than her base speed, as well as no longer being able to hover or glide due to the loss of her wings.
This jutsu duration is for about 6 posts, though it can be lengthened to up to 9 by feeding more chakra into it, though this worsens the drawback once the jutsu ends. After the base duration runs out, her entire body will become numb and cause her speed and reaction time to drop as a result. This lasts for about three posts, but if she lengthened it, it can lengthen to about 6 posts and only allows her to move at a third of her base speed. If she tries to go over that limit, though possible, it will result in her body becoming completely paralyzed, as well as the obvious threat of chakra exhaustion.

After the war and her break-up with Aoi, Akio has become a very emotionally withdrawn individual, focusing only on either training or her duties as a shinobi, and spending very little time socializing with others anymore. While she still has the sarcastic remark or joke ready whenever it's needed, she no longer talks with people in depth. If they try to get to know her personally, she'll either redirect the conversation away from herself or just shut down, not speaking another word until the person gets the message and leaves her alone.
Along with this, Akio has developed a bit of a drinking habit, not a terrible one, but noticeable. She always tends to have one bottle of some form of liquor on her when not on a mission, and she can be a bit cranky at times on missions due to the fact that she can't drink while on the job, a self-imposed rule so that her habit never interferes with her work. On really bad days, however, one could find Akio totally hammered in her home, in which she becomes a depressive, self-loathing mess that is constantly asking people to comfort her and listen to her problems, as well as provide . . . other forms of relief.
【History】
The war was a defining moment in Akio's life . . . and not for the better. while she wasn't a stranger to loss or violence, she had never felt in the scale that she had in the war. Many good friends died in the fighting, only to die in vain as the Confederation came to rule everything. However, instead of being filled with anger and indignation, she just felt broken and afraid. As she recovered, she began to withdraw from the world, drinking more often, and geting into fights with her girlfriend Aoi, until it finally culminated in Akio breaking it off in a fit of drunken passion.
She immediately regretted it afterwards, but instead of going after her and begging forgiveness, she simply let the relationship die. Despite still having strong feelings for Aoi, she just didn't want to feel the pain of losing her, imagining that it'd be worse than anything else she'd ever experienced. Since she couldn't force Aoi to stop being a kunoichi, she decide that it'd be best for the two o end their relationship, thinking it'd be easier for both of them in the long run. This belief has long since died in her mind, as she only continues to feel more and more empty inside, but she feels like it's much much too late to fix her mistake. So she lives her days in misery, with her only companions being the alcohol she keeps by her side and the odd stranger that it invites to her bed every so often.
【Family ties】
Akio feels nothing for her family name, and had nothing but fear for her father. Her brother and a few of the braver clan members were the only ones in her family to show her any kindness, though not without punishment. Her foster family after the Massacre were kind at first, but soon grew distant as she showed a great lack in interest in them. After that, they simply ignored her and she ignored them. Not the perfect home, but it was peaceful at least.

The first is that she was a bastard child, a mark of shame on his honor as the Tendou family patriarch, though it was that same honor that duty bound him to take the child in, as her mother had died during childbirth. The second reason was that she was never good enough, and while she wasn't the most skilled of individuals, she was still rather good, some would say better than most.
But it was never enough for Akira Tendou, he demanded perfection, and severely punished those who did not meet his requirements. And as she hardly ever did, she was often met with scorn from her father, who never once acknowledged her as his daughter. And while that should've devastated her, she didn't find herself minding too much. She never once considered Akira Tendou as her father in the sense that he was a man to come to with her woes, worries, and needs, as that regard went to her older brother, Kokatsu. Ever since she came into their home, Kokatsu was extremely protective of her, getting into several fights with Akira and most of them ending in some sort of violence. Since she was young, she never got to see Kokatsu darker side, and she believes that he wanted to keep it that way as he made extreme efforts to avoid telling her about his job in any specific detail. He also expressed some sorrow when it became apparent that she was going to be joining the Shinobi forces, though never actively spoke out against it, unlike her father who was certain that she'd never pass and if she did, never make it pass a lowly genin.
If things had continued as normal, then he may have been right, for even she had begun to doubt her self and her reasons for becoming a ninja, of whether she was ready for the life they lived. But instead, soon after her seventh birthday, all hell broke loose. A ceremony was held, as Akira had decided to pass on his position as Clan Patriarch to his son, claiming he had never been prouder for him. Kokatsu took the Tendou blade(an artifact past down from Patriarch to Patriarch since before the elemental nations were even concieved) and, with a smile as bright as the sun, slew his father where he stood, dropping the weapon to perform a quick string of handsigns before slamming his fingers into the fresh corpse.
An eerie red light rose from the ground around him, and it was until many months after the event that she would hear that at the time, seals popped up all throughout the city. And so it was that Kokatsu opened a portal between this world and a world of darkness to unleash death upon all who lived within it. Only a single order was given, spare the children of the Tendou clan, they had done no wrong. And so it was that behind a veil of darkness, hundreds if not thousands died horrid, painful deaths, all the while a menacing laugh would echo through out it all. When the barrier fell and the demons fled, Kokatsu held out his hand for Akio to grab, only for her to flinch away, looking at her blood trenched sibling in horror.
Akio couldn't remember a time where her brother had looked more hurt then at that time, and yet she also couldn't remember a time where he seemed more relieved. He offered no pressure or force, just left without a word, and leaving her alone in a nightmare of blood, death, and sorrow. After the event, the Tendou children were taken in and eventually handed over to adoptive parents to raise them. Of those children, four would go insane from the trauma of what they witnessed as they grew up, one even committing suicide after slaughtering his adoptive parents. Tendou children where treated with a mix of pity, fear, and for Akio, hatred.
Given how closely related she was to Kokatsu, there were people, kids especially, who would take out their grief of lost loved ones out on her. This made it hard for her to trust and approach people, and also made it so she hated her features that so easily gave her away. But in the midst of these hardships, an ember began to burn bright with newly discovered passion. She developed a burning drive to train herself, to become as strong as possible. She was able to pass the academy with only minor difficulties, and did her best in her genin missions no matter what the they were. However, in the early years of her life, this passion nearly consumed her, as she withdrew from everyone, constantly running herself into the ground, and then some, for a reason that she wasn't even sure of. In actuality, she felt partially to blame for what happened to Kokatsu, thinking in her subconscious mind that if she had somehow been there for him more, it could've been avoided.
As life went on, however, she found herself to be taken unde the wing of Tsukiko Umene. The older jonin would drop by from time to time to check up on her, and if she felt it necessary, beat her in to shape. While at first Akio resented the woman, she eventually began to grow more attached to her as time went on, to the point where she thinks of the wild woman as the big sister she never had. Due to Tsukiko's influence, Akio began to open up to other people a little more and try to overcome her weaknesses. Also because of Tsukiko, the young Tendou can tend to have a rather vivid and imaginative vocabulary when sufficiently angered or upset, as well as having a bit of a nasty temper.
As of now, she's living in a rented apartment in downtown, having moved away from her foster parents the moment she became a genin, never to speak to them again.

Also bringing Tatsuya back as a proper Chunin, since I didn't get to do all that much with him last time. Still working on some minor details in the history, and ignore the A rank, O'm going to get rid of it cause even I once it's just too much. Consider it a placeholder for another technique for now as I figure out whether Tatsuya will even get an A-rank jutsu.

Tatsuya is tall at around 6'2, and has a rather muscular upper body due to his work in the forge. His hands and arms are covered with numerous scars, burns and callouses due to the work he does every day, but he wears them with pride as they are the symbol of all his hard work. His red eyes come from his father, and shiny red hair comes from his mother. He also has a tattoo on his upper right arm of Ketsui lodged in the mouth of an active volcano. He got it the day he became a Genin as a symbol to never forget the determination it took to get him there, so that no matter how long the road to greatness looked, he'd never give up.
His normal clothing style is usually a plain white T-shirt, some jeans and steel toed boots( a nessecity in his profession). He sometimes where a jacket if it;s cold enough for one, but more often than not, that's it for his casual wear. His combat outfit is a black, long sleeve shirt, a jacket over that, black combat pants and shinobi sandals.

Tatsuya is a more weapon-based fighter, specialized in Kenjutsu mostly, as that is the weapon he uses most often, and has the most skill in using. That being said, his Taijutu is serviceable enough that he's not completely defenseless without his weapons, but it'll only do him so well for so long, especially against a skilled Taijutsu fighter. His Ninjutsu is also quite good, with a focus on controlling the battlefield rather than simply blasting his opponents away.
Up close, Tatsuya is a very good fighter, but he often has issues against distance opponent unless he can figure out a way to get them to come to him. He can either uses his jutsu to force his foe closer, or takes the battle to them instead. When it comes to using his Kekkei Genkai, he can sometimes use it to distract his opponents by making the ground underneath their feet really hot via forming lava just below the surface. A sneaky, but effective strategy, especially when facing an enemy of a higher skill level than him, as that split second distraction could give him just the edge he needs to either escape, or end a fight.

The lava release is a very versatile Kekkei Genkai that has multiple variations and abilities depending on how one uses it. For Tatsuya, he bears an affinity for manipulating volcanic materials like as Magma making a very, very deadly opponent to go up against. His Lava attacks can change the very battlefield, giving him a good amount of Offensive, defensive, and crowd controlling abilities. An added plus to this ability is that one can convert certain earth-style techniques into Lava style ones, at the cost of an increased chakra cost.
With some practice, Tatsuya has also been able to create a rubber-like material as well, which he can change the consistency of his chakra to make it work as an adhesive. While he's not skilled enough with it yet to use it in battle, in time it could add to his crowd control and supportive abilities.
Tatsuya himself suffers no ill effects from his use of this ability, and seems to have a bit of heat resistance as well, though not enough to make a real difference against a fire jutsu(this doesn't include his own lava, which he's immune to). It's a neat party trick for him to snuff out a cigarette on with his hands, but that's about it.

These bracers are designed to block physical attacks only. In preparation for this technique, Tatsuya will channel chakra through the earth to create Yoton beneath it's surface over a period of time (2 Posts). As a result of this action, the surface of the affected area will become noticeably hotter as the lava beneath is pushed toward the surface by the built up pressure. Tatsuya can then release this build up pressure by creating small craters in the ground with either explosion tags, thus releasing this pent up magma in a explosive Mini-eruption at every point where a hole was created. The more holes the smaller the explosion will be, and vice versa in that less holes will equal more power explosions. With the combination of the explosion and lava this jutsu can lead to severe injuries and even death if a foe is got unaware. It can also create several lava pools after use, which Tatsuya can then use to his advantage to control how his opponent moves around the battlefield.
A side effect of this technique is that it will lead to a nasty surprise to anyone trying to move underground or using ground shifting Dojutsu. The former for obvious reasons, and the latter because it will weaken the ground around them, causing the jutsu to activate prematurely. Weaknesses are the preparation time, making it something that can't be effectively used without either a teammate or pre-planning. It can also be activated prematurely by the above method, and can't be used in certain areas.

Ketsui is the sword that Tatsuya had to make to be allowed to become a shinobi by his father, a blade of unquestionable quality and a showing of true talent and hard work to be made by one as young as him. NOt only does it have a keen edge and made from durable metal, but during the forging process(where a mix of traditional and modern techniques were applied) he inscribed special seals into the metal to give it an extra function. The blade could now store elemental chakra with in itself and circulate it through the blade more effectively, enabling it to more effectively take on the aspects of whatever element it pumped into it. This also makes it capable of forming advanced chakra natures, such as Tatsuya's own Lava Release, with remarkable ease. And since it's able to store chakra as well, that means that one can fully charge it before a mission and activate and deactivate the seals inside with a simple one handed seal and a little chakra.

Description
This slightly bulky metal gauntlet holds some moderately complex hardware to make a more versatile version of the chakra shields used by the puppet-nin of the sand. It has a small disk-like object above the wrist which projects an energy shield around itself using the users chakra, and while the cost for maintaining the shield is low, the cost increases when blocking an attack. The stronger the attack, the more chakra it takes to defend against. At his current level, Tatsuya could defend against an A rank jutsu, though the action will leave him feeling somewhat fatigued afterwards. The chakra shield can be enlarge or shrunk at a moment's notice, and can even be launched along with the disc to make a decent weapon or a distraction. The projection disc is detachable, and Tatsuya usually keeps 3 extra's handy just in case. 【Personality】
Tatsuya is an honest and sociable sort, one who believes that the best way to get something is to earn it through the sweat of your brow and the strength of your will. He's very open in both mind and personality, accepting of pretty much everyone, and at times a bit too forgiving, which people have taken advantage of in the past and probably will continue to do so in the future. However, don't take that as him being slow witted or foolish, as his mind is as sharp as the blades he forges, and he has a keen intuition, honed by years of attending his family's shop, for picking out when people are lying to him or trying to pull the wool over his eyes. He tries his best to remain courteous with all kinds people, but he's no pushover, and if you don't back off nicely, he will make you back off, whether it be through words or actions.
Tatsuya is also a bit of an artist, putting his experience in the forge into various metalworking projects and sculptures. While he's not terrible, it's obvious to see that e's still trying to find his niche with the art, as every piece is very different from one another, and he has yet to see one he particularly likes yet. He's also good at drawing, but that kind of a necessity when making designs for weapons, armors, and other such works, but he does sometimes take time out of his busy days to just relax and draw the world around him, mostly just random people on the street who catch his interest.
While usually rather humble and modest, Tatsuya takes great pride in what he calls his true art form, forging weapons and armors of his own that have a cool style while still remaining practical in use. He treats every work like a piece of art, and has also taken to learning several weapon types, because he always feels that if he knows how to use the weapon himself, he can better forge it for his customers. His favorite type of weapon is the sword, but he's also learned how to effectively use other weapons, such as the staff, spear, and Naginata.
【History】
Tatsuya's father comes from a clan of reknowned blacksmiths that originated from Mizu no kuni. They were known as the Kajiya Clan, and it's said that it was members of their clan responsible for forging the blades of the Seven Ninja swordsman. However, sometime after the rise of the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, a faction of the clan separated from the main branch and left Mizu no kuni, for reason's that very few outside the clan know about. The faction soon splintered off from each other, settling in several different lands across the world, keeping the name of their clan where ever they go to show that they still pride themselves in their linage.
His father, Katsuo, was born and raised in Konoha, living there for 17 years before he decided to travel to Kirigakure in order to find out more about his heritage. It was there were he met his wife-to-be, Katsumi Terumi. She was an eccentric inventor, and often considered to be the black sheep of her clan due to her . . . odd mannerisms. While the two didn't get along when they first met, their mutual love to create eventually formed into a relation ship, and after a 5 years, Katsuo returned home with Katsumi to Konoha with her father's blessing, where they were to be happily married 3 years later.
Fast forward 10 years in the future to the birth of Tatsuya, their second child and first born son. Tatsuya's early years where tough at first, as he was a rather weak baby, but he pulled through, eventually growing healthy and strong without any complications. Tatsuya soon spent a great amount of time with both of his parents in their respective workshops, and while he tended to lean towards his dad's work then his mother's, he found both of them interesting. The blade was spectacular, it's functions both practical and unique to it. It was a weapon deserving of the name Kajiya, and true to his word, Katsuo finally allowed Tatsuya to be a Shinobi, though he still doesn't like the idea.

Tatsuya dreams of one day making a weapon that is on par with that of those of the Seven Ninja swordsman, as well as becoming a reknowned shinobi that would be an inspiration for others. Tatsuya somewhat fears his Kekkei Genkai, as he's afraid that he might accidentally hurt, and even kill someone one day due to him not being able to control it properly.
Tatsuya is an honest and sociable sort, one who believes that the best way to get something is to earn it through the sweat of your brow and the strength of your will. He's very open in both mind and personality, accepting of pretty much everyone, and at times a bit too forgiving, which people have taken advantage of in the past and probably will continue to do so in the future. However, don't take that as him being slow witted or foolish, as his mind is as sharp as the blades he forges, and he has a keen intuition, honed by years of attending his family's shop, for picking out when people are lying to him or trying to pull the wool over his eyes. He tries his best to remain courteous with all kinds people, but he's no pushover, and if you don't back off nicely, he will make you back off, whether it be through words or actions.
Tatsuya is also a bit of an artist, putting his experience in the forge into various metalworking projects and sculptures. While he's not terrible, it's obvious to see that e's still trying to find his niche with the art, as every piece is very different from one another, and he has yet to see one he particularly likes yet. He's also good at drawing, but that kind of a necessity when making designs for weapons, armors, and other such works, but he does sometimes take time out of his busy days to just relax and draw the world around him, mostly just random people on the street who catch his interest.
While usually rather humble and modest, Tatsuya takes great pride in what he calls his true art form, forging weapons and armors of his own that have a cool style while still remaining practical in use. He treats every work like a piece of art, and has also taken to learning several weapon types, because he always feels that if he knows how to use the weapon himself, he can better forge it for his customers. His favorite type of weapon is the sword, but he's also learned how to effectively use other weapons, such as the staff, spear, and Naginata.
【History】
Tatsuya's father comes from a clan of reknowned blacksmiths that originated from Mizu no kuni. They were known as the Kajiya Clan, and it's said that it was members of their clan responsible for forging the blades of the Seven Ninja swordsman. However, sometime after the rise of the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, a faction of the clan separated from the main branch and left Mizu no kuni, for reason's that very few outside the clan know about. The faction soon splintered off from each other, settling in several different lands across the world, keeping the name of their clan where ever they go to show that they still pride themselves in their linage.
His father, Katsuo, was born and raised in Konoha, living there for 17 years before he decided to travel to Kirigakure in order to find out more about his heritage. It was there were he met his wife-to-be, Katsumi Terumi. She was an eccentric inventor, and often considered to be the black sheep of her clan due to her . . . odd mannerisms. While the two didn't get along when they first met, their mutual love to create eventually formed into a relation ship, and after a 5 years, Katsuo returned home with Katsumi to Konoha with her father's blessing, where they were to be happily married 3 years later.

His lack of dedication, and methodical lifestyle is simply a byproduct of his mental lethargy. Zay is capable- Far more capable than most would like to admit, but his motivation does not match his potential. When speaking on his terms, rested and free of responsibility, Zay's speech is refined, polite, and he is very attentive to detail. In most cases however, Zay does not consider himself very 'rested' and acts completely aloof, purposely insulting the intelligence of others, and showing minimal interest in serious discussion. His attitude often causes conflict between him and his peers, making his life even harder than he already perceives it, and perpetually forcing himself into a downward spiral.
That being said, Zay perceives life itself as less than noteworthy, quoted as claiming the human heartbeat to be 'The body's most monotonous chore' on more than one occasion. Questions regarding his history or opinions on the general status of the Shinobi world are often met with a ballad of anecdotal references, and depressing metaphors that tend highlight the negative aspects of, well, being alive. Due to his seemingly infinite disdain towards basically everything, most perceive Zay as an angst ridden peon who cares nothing of his friends, family, or own well being. However, nothing could be farther from the truth.
Despite what his nihilistic charade would suggest, he's a particularly caring individual that places tremendous importance on not only his own well-being, but that of all living things, and more importantly, the freedom they are entitled to. There's nothing more important to him than the heart that keeps him standing, and by extension, the people that give it the courage to beat freely. However, Zay prioritizes himself over all others. He claims that he would never risk his life, even if it were for the safety of a loved one. Truth be told, his attitude keeps him from actually developing any strong relationships, and his known family has been dead for years. Still, he considers his allies precious, and will do everything he can to keep their heart's beating if it doesn't put his life at serious risk.
One could infer that Zay purposely distances himself from others to avoid the responsibility the coincides with friendship and romance, but since he is awfully secretive about his personal affairs, nobody's really be able to pry a solid explanation from his iron-hard brain-case.
【History】
Zay's life started off rich with love and wealth. Born in Iwagakure, Zay lived out his infant years in the care of his mother and father, both of whom had little respect for the Hamajō Confederation. This disrespect quickly blossomed into action when Zay's mother, Ikomi Tetsuba, allied herself with the Red Sages and put her family in immediate danger. Although her husband supported the haphazardous decision she'd made, his sister Tskia did not appreciate seeing her nephew put in harms way. Before he turned 3, Tskia Tetsuba stole Zay away from his father and fled Iwagakure to raise him in hiding. Not a year later, Tskia had received knowledge that both her brother and his wife were killed, having been revealed as supporters of the red sages.

Tskia rose Zay as her own, treating him as the son she'd never had, and teaching him the basis of his family's ninjutsu. Even so, Zay was one to question every minute detail behind the lessons he'd received. this often lead to questions regarding the Tetsuba Clan, and by extension, his parents. Of course, Tskia was never at liberty to reveal much to Zay, in fear he'd adopt his parent's ideals, putting himself in immediate danger. Due to the secrecy that enveloped his training, Zay didn't take to his aunt's lessons very kindly, and instead spent all of his time training himself in the art of silver Release with his aunt's wisdom as a very loose basis.
At the age of 17, around the time that Zay had achieved the rank of Chuunin, Tskia had fallen fatally ill, and was home-bound. Although it was difficult, Zay was forced to support both himself and his aunt on what little money he could earn through the few missions he was approved for. Ultimately, Tskia passed away, leaving Zay to fend for himself. On her death bed, Tskia told Zay of his parents and their fate, along with the history of their family. Although he didn't change the way he behaved, his aunt's death, and his family's history took a serious toll on his inner thoughts, and changed the way he looked at life, and death. Zay, without a mentor, continued to develop his silver release on his own.
Zay now spends his time conducting missions as a registered shinobi. When he isn't on assignments, sleeping, or training his jutsu, Zay spends all of his time outside, walking outside city limits as much as he can.

Description:
Silver release allows members of the Tetsuba Clan to mold fire and Earth chakra natures into a shimmering metallic liquid, hence the name 'silver release'. This substance can be used in a plethora of different ways using subsequent jutsu as long as the user's chakra remains infused inside of the liquid, but without proper concentration, it is impossible to do much more than move it along the ground at a snails pace. It is also impossible to control this liquid if it travels more than 15 yards away from the user. If any of this substance leaves the user's 15 yard radius, whether it is in solid or liquid form, will quickly dissolve into raw chakra. Users can also reabsorb this liquid to replenish their chakra pool with diminished return. Due to these limitations, silver release users are not very mobile, and instead rely on the agility and durability of their jutsu.
In use, the silver liquid acts as a base for several techniques. The most common application is consuming opponents in range and smothering them to death. It can however be hardened to create temporary weapons with very high Chakra affinity, large scale attacks, barriers, armor, and various mechanisms relative to the user's knowledge of the technology they are trying to mimic. More advanced users of Silver release can sense the presence of other living things within their pool as long as they are connect by a constant stream of chakra, coat their entire body in an armor that removes their sense of sight and hearing but makes them nearly impervious to physical assaults, temporarily patch wounds by fusing the liquid with their skin, heat the liquid to boiling temperatures, and in very rare cases, transfer their body instantaneously from one section of their puddle to another with a delayed reemergence. It's rumored that certain Tetsuba could create golden, Copper, and even mercury based liquid metals, but nothing has been confirmed, and their lineage runs so thin that it's difficult to confirm or deny such rumors.
Members of the Tetsuba Family are known to have very pale skin, reflective white hair, and silver blood. These effects appear to be purely cosmetic and otherwise have no effect on their biology whatsoever.

Strengths:
Ray's mastery of Silver release is exceptional, and it wouldn't come as a surprise considering he does not practice any ninjutsu that would not coincide with his Kekkei Genkai.
At his current mastery, Zay can keep a constant pool of Silver going at the full 15 yards from his body for a considerable amount of time before it begins to strain his Chakra reserves. His mid-close range combat is unmatched in many scenarios, disallowing easy movement within his radius without immediate danger. His liquid can nullify most wind natured ninjutsu, protect against some earth/water/fire natured ninjutsu, and offer substantial protection from most forms of attacks when hardened en-masse. Zay's agility with his silver allows him to cast jutsu in quick succession, giving the liquid considerable agility when he is focused.
Weaknesses:
Without a ready supply of silver, Ray is practically defenseless, only able to conjure weapons and small short-range projectile type jutsu quickly enough to defend himself. Even with a pool at the ready, Zay is incapable of firing ranged attacks outside of his range effectively. His mobility with the pool is also very slow, and he cannot travel long distances without being encumbered by his jutsu. While channeling a substantial pool of silver, Ray require immense concentration, disallowing him to move his body too quickly at risk of his entire jutsu falling apart momentarily. If he is forced to dodge, or struck by anything that would interrupt his concentration, any hardened liquid could instantaneously melt back down into liquid form, and any silver under his control will fall back into his pool, including any weapons or armor he's equipped himself with. Additionally, his silver is highly-conductive, allowing lightning-natured jutsu to travel effortlessly along the entire expanse of the pool as long as it is connected, or close enough to allow a current to travel throughout. Certain Lightning-natured Jutsu can also pierce through any solidified silver effortlessly, and even destroy portions of his liquid. Conjuring the liquid, albeit quick, also requires an initial Chakra dump that nearly drains Zay of half his energy. Additionally, Zay can only sustain a pool for about 10 minutes before he runs out of energy, assuming he rations his chakra sparingly.

Standing at about 5'11" and weighing in at 150~lb, Nori is tall, lean shinobi, with an air of thoughtful relaxation about him. His bluish-black hair is trimmed slightly shorter than in the picture above, keeping the bangs out of his eyes, and the length in the back about halfway down the neck. His skin is rather pale, with sharp grey eyes, and slightly pointed teeth reminiscent of the Seven Ninja Swordsman of the Mist.
Attire-wise; in battle, he forgoes a flak jacket, instead settling for a chain mesh under a loose, sleeveless blue shirt, black shin-length pants, standard issue black sandals, arm-guards, and his dark blue scarf tucked into the back of his shirt; a worn Kirigakure plate is attached to the end of this.
Out of battle, his attire is much more modern; while he still sticks to wearing blue out of habit, he often dresses in semi-casual suit jackets, button-up shirts, slacks, and sneakers, varying to weather and situation as necessary. The only consistency is the dark-blue scarf, kept with him regardless of occasion.

Nori is an analytical type. Even in casual conversations, he will take long periods of time to listen thoroughly to what the other(s) have to say before replying, replying only when he has found something worthwhile to say in response. He's often relaxing to be around because of this trait; you'll almost never be interrupted or ignored, and especially those needing to blow off some steam will drift to him.
The responses are where that line becomes less clear-cut. Nori is the only son of his parents, a non-shinobi father and a hunter-nin mother, in the unsteady Kirigakure village. With the years preceding the era of peace from the Hamajō Confederation, his mother was hardly ever home for the boy, constantly performing missions, be they for the village, or against its defectors. No questions asked has always been the terms of the Hidden Mist though, and so he simply smiled and nodded when his father constantly praised her mother as a hero, regardless of how dirty her job was. Even when she did return though, she never doted on him, unlike how he saw other mothers do with their children. She simply enjoyed the brief tranquility that would come between her missions as much as possible, and Nori accepted the exhaustion that came with his mother, the "hero."
As he grew into his Academy years, he himself trained diligently in the Academy, to become a "great hero" like his scarcely seen mother, and succeeded; he was quiet, talented, and most importantly, obedient. What he also learned however, is how to be an outcast; children in times of war are never settled, and they found every reason to question why his father wasn't a shinobi, and tease that maybe his mother wouldn't come back this time. He simply let them speak and continued his training; his father did everything he could as a parent, and his mother was a hero. He didn't have the nerve to question them early on, and didn't care once he understood later. Even after learning of just what the job of hunter-nin entailed, well, it was just another grisly duty, and he would be more than willing to follow his mother's footsteps in that role.
And then, during his graduating year at the Academy, the war hit a terrifying peak for Kirigakure--the destruction of the village. People scattered. Most died. Nori and his family were of the lucky ones; they managed to get out before the devastation, finding themselves heading north across the water to the Land of Lightning, and the new Kumo Province. For a long time, neither of them knew where his mother was. His father took up the task of farming, struggling to get by in the lackluster area. Nori didn't know what to do. He had been following in his mother's footsteps, but how could he join a military that let their home be destroyed and separated him from his "hero?"
His decision would be solidified several years later, after the Hamajō Confederation had settled in. After the destruction of Kirigakure, his mother had been lost. She didn't know what had happened to her family. She thought them likely dead, herself being another lucky one, sent over to the Land of Fire on her most recent task. The loss of home, the loss of family...she ended up with some of the scattered armies, and eventually decided that she would fight against the power that couldn't protect her anymore; she joined the would-be Red Sages, and eventually got herself killed for it. Family connections were made. The Confederation came to his father's farm, looking for intel on the Red Sages. Neither of them knew anything about what had happened after Kirigakure, and after some extremely stern interrogation, decided that refugees fled to Kumo wouldn't know what happened to a traitor last seen near Konoha.
"Traitor." That was the term that had solidified his decision. There had to be a reason; she had been a hunter-nin. Her duty: to track down rogue shinobi, the traitors. She had to know the consequences of becoming the hunted, so the reason for her supposed defection had to have some meaning behind it. He thought it over, and decided to continue her fight. His father never questioned it; he was a grown man now, and his decision was his own. He would join the Red Sages, and fight the real traitors.

He has no siblings. After the destruction of Kirigakure, he lived in near-poverty with his single father, and never saw his mother again.

Description: This jutsu causes all water created from a previous Water Release ninjutsu to have an extreme numbing effect to any skin in contact with it, extremely hindering the sense of touch, and in turn, making it more difficult to control the dampened areas. While the effect is immediate and intense though, it's reliant on how wet the opponent is; if they've been successfully dodging techniques, or happen to be in heavy armor, they likely won't be affected significantly. Likewise, managing to sufficiently dry themselves will remove the effect, and as with all genjutsu, if they are aware it's the illusion of loss of sensation, then they can mentally force themselves to overcome it if possible. The strength of the technique is its subtlety and range, the weakness being its ease of avoidance.
