Sorry about my absence, last week was preparing for school and now I'm back in it again. Needless to say I'm going to be a tad busy and my posts may take longer. Would it be alright to say Catherine nailed her head on the floor and is now in the med bay?

I'm sorry for the delay. I wanted to give Deadbeat a chance to post before we hit Vulcan. Even if he doesn't, I'll get my next post up Monday.

Also, if no one at that point wants to join as our engineer, I'll be making my first player character.

Gonna assume people are waiting on me.

But I had an idea; might be fun if the crew started having some kind of argument/debate on the transporter pad before being beamed down to Vulcan.

So while the Admiral says, "Report", the crew may not even hear her because they're mid-debate as they materialize.

Any takers?

Go for it. I'd love to see that play out. I can see the Vulcan counselor getting into it with the JAG officer and the captain.

Well, who needs to post in order to move things along? I mean, I could but given that Brown's meant to be in the Sick Bay it would be a bit of a leap. All the same though I'd sooner we all stretched the suspension of disbelief a little in order to keep the game alive. I just genuinely haven't been sure whether/who was up next and what we needed to do in the short term.

Hmmm....

Given that everyone isn't sure what they should be doing. (I had expected everyone to treat the extended period like a day off at Vulcan.) The next best option would to be for me to just shove us a day or so in the future.

Would that be acceptable for every one?
And do you think that would fix the lull or just delay the inevitable?

That certainly works for me though I can't speak to whether it will fix the lull. I guess it depends on whether you think the story you'd like to tell can be told with as few as three or four people posting regularly. If not maybe best to call it a day and give it a go at another point. From where I am I'm definitely happy to continue though.

It's not as if you're asking us to crank out two thousand word posts.
