No in fact, I'm CERTAIN you know who these 3 are, they are all from different realms and they are currently all dead, as in obliterated, dragged to the deepest depth of the obliteration zone, a stronger prison then any hell or underworld. These 3 brave fighters were keeping the many multiverses of heaven and hell in check, but not anymore. Now the balance has been torn and demons and angels, gods and devils of all the universes and realms have landed on our earth, humanity is nearly destroyed. The war between the divine and the infernal is killing people in the millions every day. The forces on each side are basically endless. The only loser in this war can be humanity and the spirit of the people.



Demon, Angel, Human, or maybe something in between, I know there are still some of you left who want this to end. I ask you, the independent warriors of this insane conflict to find the source of this unholy rift and end the war on earth somehow, I know it wont be easy, but you are all we have left. You can make a stand against them.

So for this RP you can choose to be
Angel
Demon
Human
or some sort of mix of any of the two.

Give your character personality and fighting skills that would resemble something in Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, God Of War, Darksiders, Dante's Inferno, Asura's Wrath etc.

The factions are

Heaven/Paradise/High Gates Army

Hell/Inferno/Underworld Army

and on earth there are factions that sympathize with either side or are independent.

I will provide more info as this gets interest.

Devil May Cry and Bayonetta are two of my most favorite game universes, of one of my most favorite types of games. I'll surely keep an eye on this.

I can feel the CUHRAYZEE quite strongly in this. Am I correct in assuming that this will be mostly over-the-top stylish action?

As is my wont, I feel strongly like contributing some sort of ridiculous vampire character to this.

Holy Crap, I put this up ages ago and didn't think anyone would be interested, but seeing all this interest means I'll probably have to go forward with it now!

and yes, stylish over the top action in the same way as the games play. You will be in a world of Angels, Demons and Gods and your characters will be kickass protaganists. The only limit is that, while you are powerful you are NOWEHRE near as strong as Dante, Bayonetta or Kratos, you will have to work as a team to fight off hordes of enemies and restore peace to the world.

For me it comes down to how you aim to meld the three worlds.

Bayonetta has their own version of hell for instance, God of War has their own version of hell and heaven too drawing from appropriate lore. DMC I believe is the only thing that is confined to mostly just hell.

I totally have a character idea for this, but I think it might be a bit overpowered perhaps? We'll see what the character sheets look like and go from there, of course. But I am thinking of an Angel, might go half angel. But the Angel of Equality, or their progeny. Wields a sword, but can make small conversion fields. The conversion field changes energy from one type to another. So Kinetic Energy could be converted into thermal energy, making a force field that not only stops motion through it, but burns whatever is attempting to pass through it as well. A slow moving object would take less damage then a fast moving object.

That actually doesn't sound overpowered at all, because one can simply move around the fields, and some (like my character) might have the ability to destroy them too.

I suggest trying something that you think would look cool as well, because imagining your use of these fields is kinda meh.

It is all in the application, my friend. If I make a field before my character and keep pushing it forward as I walk, I've got a shield, allowing my sword wielder to wildly charge into battle. I can convert Thermal to kinetic as well, and use any heat source to launch my character through the air. I can put it on the ground and simply have the field change the direction of the energy, as long as the output is the same as the input. So I can make my opponents misstep, and instead of dodging, they step directly into my blade, or conversely, I can jump onto the field and it'll take the downward momentum and shove me forward with the same force, giving me a faster than normal speed....

Yeah, it can be pretty lame, but when we talk about teamwork to get objectives done, I picture my character filling more of a support role, allowing the rest of you guys to be pretty crazy in your methods. Meh. We'll see.
