So..query...are these structures mostly metal, or reinforced concrete?

Reinforced future-concrete, occasionally reinforced with metal alloy

The only things made of considerable amounts of alloy are the weapon emplacements. The hangars themselves might have sheet metal covering the tops, like typical 21st century hangars. Also nothing is energy shielded, so we pretty much get to go to town.

Alright, because I was consulting with like three other people on the physics of shooting concrete and metal with plasma, and we're having a great time here trying to decide what would happen. Currently my experts group (Read: Skype buddies) think that it'll just punch right through, leave a molten hole in the wall and fuck up whatever it hits, including the other wall if need be.

If you're shooting the sheet metal of the hangars, yeah, it'll probably punch right through and slag whatever else is on the other side. A weapon emplacement or a thick piece of building(Ie the fort walls) will probably be wrecked/slagged, but not punch through.

Alright, I'll go back to writing then. Trying to determine how best to bring down this hangar, but maybe I'm just over-thinking things. The current plan is to try and make it collapse under its own weight by punching a few holes, but the debate continues

I think you're underestimating how powerful your autocannon is- it fires the same rounds that the Sentry's autocannon uses, but other then that it looks fine to me.

hehe, and i've been trying to put most of my time into working on applications so i'm not really on most of the time, plus admittedly there's not a lot to do in The Division once you reach the endgame

Well you obviously haven't been playing in the Dark Zone. Hunting/Going rogue is fun.

Especially when you hit the bounty 5-7 times straight and nobody can take your party down even if they come at you at once.
